A Study on Developing the Compliance for Infringement Response and Risk Management of Personal Information to Realize the Safe Artificial Intelligence Services in Artificial Intelligence Society (지능정보사회의 안전한 인공지능 서비스 구현을 위한 개인정보 침해대응 및 위기관리 컴플라이언스 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study tried to suggest crisis management compliance to prevent personal information infringement accidents that may occur in the process because the data including personal information is being processed in the artificial intelligence (AI) service process. To this end, first, the AI service provision process is divided into 3 processes such as service planning/data design and collection process, data pre-processing and purification process, and algorithm development and utilization process. And 3 processes are subdivided into 9 stages following to personal information processing stages to infringe personal information. All processes were investigated with literature and experts' Delphi. Second, the investigated personal information infringement factors were selected through FGI, Delphi, etc. for experts. Third, a survey was conducted with experts on the severity and possibility of each personal information infringement factor, and the validity and adequacy of the 94 responses were verified. Fourth, to present appropriate risk management compliance for personal information infringement factors in AI services, a method for calculating the risk level of personal information infringement is prepared by utilizing the asset value of personal information, personal information infringement factors, and the possibility of infringement accidents. Through this, the countermeasures for personal information infringement incidents were suggested according to the scored risk level.

  • 인공지능 기술이 사회 많은 분야에서 활용되고 있으며 인공지능 기술을 도입하여 더 나은 서비스를 제공하려고 하고 있다. 교육 현장에서 교사는 인공지능 기술과 활용 및 가치에 대해 연구하고 학생에게 관련된 교육을 제공해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 중학생을 대상으로 AI 교육 콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 3차시에 걸친 내용을 통해 AI에 대한 흥미를 갖고 간단한 프로그램을 직접 만들어보며, AI에 대한 이해와 관심을 높일 수 있을 거라 기대한다.

  • Since Turing (1950) proposed the development of a machine or system that could think and communicate with humans, many engineers and scientists have made endless efforts to create machines and systems that can replace humans. This effort made the field of artificial intelligence. Recently, as many people have been interested in the 4th Industrial Revolution, research on artificial intelligence technology has been actively carried out not only in the university laboratories but also in the companies as the core technology for realizing the 4th Industrial Revolution. As the artificial intelligence technology has been penetrated deeply into our lives, it is true that our lives have become much easier and more comfortable than in the past, but on the other hand, we have begun to have various negative effects. In this study, we review the social changes caused by artificial intelligence in terms of intelligent products and services. By analyzing positive effects and dysfunctions in various cases of daily life and work environment, we try to identify main policy issues.

  • Quite a few elementary school teachers began to utilize AI technology in order to provide students with customized, intelligent information services in recent years. However, learning principles of AI may be as important as utilizing AI in everyday life because understanding principles of AI can empower them to buildup adaptability to changes in highly technological world. In the paper, 'Linear Regression Algorithm' is selected for teaching AI-based prediction system to solve real world problems suitable for elementary students. A simulation program written in Scratch was developed so that students can find a solution of linear regression model using the program. The paper shows that students have learned analyzing data as well as comparing the accuracy of the prediction model. Also, they have shown the ability to solve real world problems by finding suitable prediction models.

금융분야 AI의 윤리적 문제 현황과 해결방안

  • 우리 사회에서 AI 활용이 더욱 보편화 되어가고 있는 가운데 AI 신뢰에 대한 사회적 요구도 증가했다. 특히 최근 대화형 인공지능'이루다'사건으로 AI 윤리에 대한 논의가 뜨거워졌다. 금융 분야에서도 로보어드바이저, 보험 심사 등 AI가 다양하게 활용되고 있지만, AI 윤리 문제가 AI 활성화에 큰 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인공지능으로 발생할 수 있는 윤리적 문제를 활용 도메인과 데이터 분석 파이프라인에 따라 나눈다. 금융 AI 기술 분야에 따른 윤리 문제를 분류했으며 각 분야별 윤리사례를 제시했고 윤리 문제 분류에 따른 대응 방안과 해외에서의 대응방식과 우리나라의 대응방식을 소개하며 해결방안을 제시했다. 본 연구를 통해 금융 AI 기술 발전에 더불어 윤리 문제에 대한 경각심을 고취시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 금융 AI 기술 발전이 AI 윤리와 조화를 이루며 성장하길 바라며, 금융 AI 정책 수립 시에도 AI 윤리적 문제를 염두해 두어 차별, 개인정보유출 등과 같은 AI 윤리 규범 미준수로 파생되는 문제점을 줄이며 금융분야 AI 활용이 더욱 활성화되길 기대한다.

Analysis of User Experience and Usage Behavior of Consumers Using Artificial Intelligence(AI) Devices (인공지능(AI) 디바이스 이용 소비자의 사용행태 및 사용자 경험 분석)

  • Artificial intelligence (AI) devices are rapidly emerging as a core platform of next-generation information and communication technology (ICT), this study investigated consumer usage behavior and user experience through AI devices that are widely applied to consumers' daily lives. To this end, data was collected from 600 consumers with experience in using AI devices were derived to recognize the attributes and behavior of AI devices. The analysis results are as follows. First, music listening was the most used among various attributes and it was found that simple functions such as providing weather information were usefully recognized. Second, the main devices used by AI device users were identified as AI speakers, smartphone, PC and laptops. Third, associative images of AI devices appeared in the order of fun, useful, novel, smart, innovative, and friendly. Therefore, practical implications are suggested to contribute to provision of user services using AI devices in the future by analyzing usage behaviors that reflect the characteristics of AI devices.

  • As progress of technology, Artificial Intelligence is applied in various fields of industry such as finance, production, medical treatment, service, art by changing the way they look continuously. As AI is progressive area, We have to know what kind of changing is merged in human society by AI. In this paper, through the investigations of Artificial Intelligence's concept and the way Artificial Intelligence's technology is implemented in modern industry, we studied positive effect and negative effect of AI. By this study, In conclusion, by realizing how close Artificial Intelligence had come to our life, we can prepare to seek a foothold to deal with this Artificial Intelligence.

  • Artificial intelligence technology in the medical field initially focused on analysis and algorithm development, but it is gradually changing to web application development for service as a product. This paper describes a Urinary Stone segmentation model in abdominal CT images and an artificial intelligence web application based on it. To implement this, a model was developed using U-Net, a fully-convolutional network-based model of the end-to-end method proposed for the purpose of image segmentation in the medical imaging field. And for web service development, it was developed based on AWS cloud using a Python-based micro web framework called Flask. Finally, the result predicted by the urolithiasis segmentation model by model serving is shown as the result of performing the AI web application service. We expect that our proposed AI web application service will be utilized for screening test.

Development and Validation of Ethical Awareness Scale for AI Technology (인공지능기술 윤리성 인식 척도개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a scale to measure the ethical awareness of users who accept artificial intelligence technology or service. To this end, the constructs and properties of AI ethics were identified through literature analysis on AI ethics. Reliability and validity were assessed through a preliminary survey(N=273), after conducting an open-type survey to men and women(N=133) in 10s to 70s nationwide, extracting the first questions, and reviewing them by experts. The results of an online survey conducted on men and women(N=500) were refined by confirmatory factor analysis. Finally, an AI technology ethics scale was developed. The AI technology ethics awareness scale was developed with 16 questions in total of 4 factors (transparency, safety, fairness, accountability) so that general awareness of ethics related to AI technology can be measured by detailed factors. In addition, through follow-up research, it will be possible to reveal the relationship with measurement variables in various fields by using the ethical awareness scale of artificial intelligence technology.

  • 본 연구는 웨어러블 디바이스를 활용하여 장애인 재활운동 보조를 위한 AI 기반의 맞춤형 서비스 개발을 소개한다. 해당 서비스는 웨어러블 디바이스를 장착한 상태로 운동 중인 사용자의 심박수, 소모 칼로리, 운동 시간 등의 센서 데이터를 수집 및 관리한다. 사용자 생체 데이터는 클라이언트 서버 간 실시간 통신으로 관리되며, django rest framework 로 구축된 서버에 저장된다. 제안 시스템을 통해 수집된 데이터는 시계열 군집화 분석을 위해 k-means clustering 과 k-shape clustering 을 활용하여 체력 평가의 핵심 지표인 심박수를 분석하였다. 특히, 상대적으로 운동이 어려운 장애인 사용자를 위한 맞춤형 운동능력 분석 및 해석에 대한 정보 제공이 가능하다.
