A Study on Network Service Using Authorization Ticket in AAA system (AAA시스템의 인가 티켓을 이용한 네트워크 서비스에 관한 연구)

  • A ubiquitous network environment is a system where the user can avail of the network's services anytime, anywhere. To establish such an environment, studies continue being conducted on wireless communication technology and mobile terminals. The company that provides such services should have an established system for authentication, authorization and charging for users. This service is referred to as Authentication, Authorization, Accounting(AAA), and its aspects have been consistently studied. On the other hand, existing studies have been promoted with regard to the authentication and efficiency of the mobile terminal. One of the method is that the mobile terminal contacts to the home authentication server through the external authentication server every time it is required and; another one is to use a medium server to provide authentication in the middle between them. Thus, this study aims to determine the best method to use ticketing, where tickets are provided through a mobile terminal, complete with authentication and authorization features. Also, as it uses ticket, it can efficiently provide mobile verification processing.

  • AAA protocol is an information protection technology which systematically provides authentication, authorization and accounting function not only in the existing wire network but also in the rapidly developing wireless network, various services and protocol. Nowadays, standardization of the various application services is in progress with the purpose of AAA standardization fer the mobile user in the wireless network. And various researches are being conducted fur using AAA in the roaming service and mobile IPv6 network between heterogeneous networks. In this paper uses OTP and ID-based ticket for user authentication in the mobile device under the ubiquitous environment, and service is seamlessly provided even though the mobile device moves from the home network to the foreign network. In addition, with the ticket renewed from the foreign network, the overhead of the home authentication server can be reduced, and provides anonymity of service through the anonymity ID.

  • AAA(Aluthentieation, Authorization, Accounting) protocol is an information securitv technology that offer secure and reliable user Authentication, Authorization, Accounting function systematically in various services. protocol and wireless network work as well as win network. Currently IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) AAA Working Group deal with about AAA protocol and studying with activity, But, recently it exposing much problems side to user's anonymity and privacv violation. Therefore, in this paper, AAAH(Home Authentication Server) authenticaters Mobile device, after that, use ticket that is issued from AAAH even if move to outside network and can be serviced offering authentication in outside network without approaching by AAAH, Also, we study mechanism that can offer user's privacy and anonymousness to when use service. Our mechanism is using Time Synchronization OTP and focusing authentication and authorization. Therefore, our mechanism is secure from third party attack and offer secure and effective authentication scheme. Also only right user can offer services by using ticket. can reduce signal and reduce delay of message exchanged, can offer persistent service and beighten security and efficiency.

  • AAA(Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) 프로토콜은 기존의 유선망 뿐만 아니라 비약적으로 발전하고 있는 무선망에서 VoIP, Mobile IP 등과 같은 다양한 서비스 및 프로토콜 상에서 안전하고 신뢰성 있는 사용자 인증, 인가, 과금 기능을 체계적으로 제공하는 정보보호 기술이다. 그러나 현재 무선망은 유선망에 비해 외부로부터의 공격에 매우 취약하고 통신에 있어서 많은 제약사항이 뒤따르고 있다. 현재 IETF AAA 워킹그룹에서도 무선망에서의 안전한 AAA 프로토콜에 관하여 중요하게 다루고 있으며, 모바일 노드의 이동성에 따른 안전한 인증을 제공하는 방안에 대해서 활발히 연구 중이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 모바일 노드가 홈 인증 서버로부터 인증을 받고 난 후에 외부 네트워크로 이동하더라도 홈 인증 서버로부터 발급받은 티켓을 이용하여 홈 인증 서버로 접근을 하지 않고 외부 네트워크에서의 인증을 제공하여 서비스를 받을 수 있게 한다. 본 방식은 티켓을 사용함으로써 교환되는 메시지 및 지연을 줄이고 지속적인 서비스를 제공받을 수 있어 효율성을 높일 수 있다.

  • In modern society, as the rapid development of IT technology combined with the computer-based high-speed communication networks makes it possible to provide a wide spectrum of services and devices, we have been confronting a new cultural transformation era, referred to as the information society. However, the requirements to be considered in security aspect have became more complicated and diversified, and there remains the same security weaknesses as in the existing media or protocol. Particularly, the office network device with roaming is susceptible to the different kinds of attacks such as terminal hacking, virus attacks, and information leakage because the computing capacity is relatively low and the loading of already developed security functions is difficult. Although developed as one solution to this problems, PKI security authentication technology isn't suitable for multi-domain environments providing uonments proffice network service, and so the development of a novel authentication system is needed. Therefore, in this paper researched the roaming and device authentication/auth for multitechnology using an ID-based public key, authorization ticket, and Sub-device ticket with a purpose to contribute to the development of the secured and efficient technology.
