  • 현재 차량 내 운전자에게 편의성과 안전성을 제공하는 시스템이 활발히 개발 중이고 향후 ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System)와 스마트 자동차에서 영상 정보를 이용한 물체 추적과 분석은 매우 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 영상에서 얻을 수 있는 정보 중 현재 도로의 이정표 정보는 중요한 분석 정보로 사용된다. 하지만 국내 도로표지판 검출 연구의 경우 유럽과 북미와 비교하여 연구 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있지 않다. 국내의 경우 도로 이정표에서 영문자뿐만 아니라 한글 문자 정보까지 포함하고 있어 검출이 쉽지 않다. 또한 비교적 밝고 잡음이 적은 검출하기 좋은 환경에서는 검출이 잘 되지만 명암이 뚜렷하지 않고 잡음이 많은 환경에서는 도로 이정표 문자 검출이 어렵다. 이에 본 논문에서는 CLAHE(Contrast-Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization) 방법을 적용하여 영상이 어둡고 잡음이 많은 환경에서 국내 도로 이정표의 문자 정보를 얻는다. 실험 결과, 기존 방법에 비해 문자 영역 검출 성능이 향상되었다.

Road Sign Detection with Weather/Illumination Classifications and Adaptive Color Models in Various Road Images (날씨·조명 판단 및 적응적 색상모델을 이용한 도로주행 영상에서의 이정표 검출)

  • Road-view object classification methods are mostly influenced by weather and illumination conditions, thus the most of the research activities are based on dataset in clean weathers. In this paper, we present a road-view object classification method based on color segmentation that works for all kinds of weathers. The proposed method first classifies the weather and illumination conditions and then applies the weather-specified color models to find the road traffic signs. Using 5 different features of the road-view images, we classify the weather and light conditions as sunny, cloudy, rainy, night, and backlight. Based on the classified weather and illuminations, our model selects the weather-specific color ranges to generate Gaussian Mixture Model for each colors, Green, Yellow, and Blue. The proposed method successfully detects the traffic signs regardless of the weather and illumination conditions.

단기 숙성 생햄의 냉장 및 실온저장 중 미생물 및 관능학적 품질

  • 본 연구는 단기 숙성형 생햄의 식중독균 오염 상태와 냉장 및 실온 저장 중 미생물 및 관능학적 품질 변화를 살펴보기 위하여 실시되었다. 생햄의 초기 총균수는 3.06 log CFU/g이었으며 저장 말기까지 균 수 증가는 미미하였다. 주 종균은 유산균과 Staphylococcus 균이었다. 10과 $25^{\circ}C$의 저장 온도에서 생햄의 저장 수명은 각각 75와 45일 정도로 예상되었다. 본 실험에서 생햄 원료 및 저장 중 단지 $25^{\circ}C$에서 21일 저장된 시료에서 C. perfringens가 검출되었고 다른 시료에서는 비가열육제품의 위생 기준으로 명시된 6가지 식중독균은 검출되지 않았다. 종합적으로 판단하건데 현실적으로 비가열 제품의 경우 국내 식중독 미생물에 대한 음성 기준을 만족시키기는 어렵고 외국 기준에 비하여 너무 엄격하므로 관련 기준의 완화가 요구된다.

Determination of Plasticizers in the Gasket of Glass Bottle for Bulgogi Sauces (불고기 소스용 유리병 가스켓에서의 가소제 정량)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the safety status of gasket of glass bottle being used for the Bulgogi sauce. The content of plasticizers in the gasket and their migrated amounts into Bulgogi sauce were determined. Among the plasticizers analyzed, only di-isodecyl phthalate (DIDP) was detected in the range between 30.6 and 35.9% from 6 samples. None of the plasticizers was detected in the sauce. Therefore, it can be concluded that the safety status of the gasket tested met the requirement of limit values as prescribed for the migration test of food packaging utensils, containers and packages of the Korea Food Code.

  • This paper describes the acquisition modeling of an airborne target for target tracking simulation of infrared homing missiles. The modeling, of which key technologies are the sub-modeling for target infrared signature, atmospheric transmission, and receiver characteristics, shows the acquisition process of an airborne target under various tracking conditions determined by line-of-sight, distance, and atmospheric conditions. We confirm the validity of the modeling by applying it to simulations concerned with target tracking. The modeling gives a guideline to determine an optimum detector and a defection band for effective discrimination of the target among false targets.

  • Purpose: In this paper, we propose an algorithm for detecting respiratory rate and heart beat of a driver of car by exploiting Doppler radar, and verifying the feasibility of the study through experiments. Method: In this paper, we propose a weighted peak detection technique using peak frequency values. The tests are performed in stop-state and driving-state, and the experiment result is analyzed by two proposed algorithms. Result: The results showed more than 95% and 96% accuracy of respiratory and heart rate, respectively. It also showed more than 72% and 84% accuracy of those even for driving experiments. Conclusion: The proposed detection scheme for vital signs can be used for the safety of the driver as well as for prevention of a large size of car accidents.

  • Nowadays the automotive circuit design becomes more complicated a practical modern car circuit usually contains thousands of wires. So the error connection between connector and pins becomes more difficult to be located. This paper proposes a general way to locate all error wires in an automotive circuit design. Firstly, we give an exact definition of error wire to guide our job. This definition also composes the core part of our algorithm. Then we limit the area of the error wires by several steps. During these steps, we apply breadth-first search method to step over all wires under consideration of reducing time cost. In addition, we apply bidirectional stack technique to organize the data structure for algorithm optimization. This algorithm can get a result with all error wires and doubtful wires in a very efficient way. The analysis of this algorithm shows that the complexity is linear. We also discuss some possible improvement of this algorithm.

  • 본 연구는 국내 조건에서 살라미를 생산하였을 때 현행 국내 육제품의 위생 기준을 만족시킬 수 있는지 여부와 살라미 저장 중 미생물학적 품질 변화를 살펴보기 위하여 실시되었다. 살라미 원료육에서는 Staphylococcus aureus와 대장균군이, 그리고 살라미 제품 중 한 시료에서 Clostridium perfringens가 검출되었다. 살라미의 저장 중 냉장온도($10^{\circ}C$)보다 실온($25^{\circ}C$)에서 균수의 감소가 두드러졌다. 제품의 저장 중 대장균군은 발견되지 않았다. 종합적으로 판단해 볼 때 살라미에서의 병원성 미생물에 대한 음성 기준을 만족시키기는 현실적으로 어렵다고 판단되므로 관련 기준의 완화가 요구된다.

Detection of Undeclared Betamethasone Derivatives in Cosmetic Products Labeled to Contain Zinc Pyrithione as the Active Ingredient (아연피리치온을 유효성분으로 표기한 화장품류에서 미표기 성분인 베타메타손 유도체의 검출)

  • Betamethasone propionate, an anti-inflammatory glucocorticosteroid, was detected in cosmetics with no indication on the label of this compound as an ingredient. The product was formulated as a topical spray or shampoo and labeled to contain zinc pyrithione as the active ingredient. A thin-layer chromatographic analysis was carried out on silica gel plates to provide a first indication about the presence of a compound with steroid structure and reactivity; then high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) separation allowed the identification of the corticosteroid agent and its quantification. To identify the corticosteroid agent from these commercial samples we collected the fractions suspected to have ketol steroids by prep HPLC and identified the compound as betamethasone propionate by NMR and MS spectrometry. Then we synthesized the standard for the betamethasone 17-propionate and 21-propionate and quantitate the corticosteroids from the sample by HPLC with that standards. By this method we identified the corticosteroid compounds from some commercial cosmetics such as zinc pyrithione sprays. The finding of betamethasone propionate in the products was shown by comparison to an authenticated standard of betamethasone propionate by retention time on reverse-phase HPLC. Two of the tested products contained betamethasone propionate at the levels of 0.005 ${\sim}$ 0.02% and the others were free of betamethasone propionate.

Material Tests for the Evaluation of Safety Aspects for Recycled Plastic 'Tarai' as a Food Container (재활용플라스틱 다라이의 식품용기로서의 안전성 평가를 위한 재질 시험)

  • Recycled plastic containers, so-called 'Tarai' in Korea which are often used as food containers, were collected from 23 domestic manufacturers. Then, their components were analyzed to find out whether they are safe for the use of food-contact material, to meet the standards and specifications of Korean hygienic regulations, the 'Food Code.' The components of the material were analyzed by using Fourier Transform-Infrared (FT-IR), Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), and Elementary Analyzer (EA). The analysis of the FT-IR and the DSC showed that the main component of the samples was polyethylene. Furthermore, the analysis of the EA for 'Tarai' sample revealed the same ratio of C and H elements as in the case of polyethylene which was 1 to 2. Phenol and formaldehyde were not detected in all the samples. As for the antioxidant tests, Irganox 1010, Irganox 1076 and Irganox 1330 were detected in various samples. With regard to the material test for heavy metals, 7 out of 23 samples exceeded the limit value of 100 mg/kg in lead contents. No standard and specification is yet prescribed in the 'Food Code' for the material of 'Tarai' as plastic containers for food. This study suggests that the use of 'Tarai' as a food container should be strictly controlled.
