인터넷의 발전으로 기존의 가정 자동화의 개념이 변화되어 단순한 제어의 범위를 넘어 정보제공, 원격관리 등의 서비스와 연계되어 통합적인 흠 네트워크의 구축이 요구되고 있다. 이에 관련하여 기존에 포설된 망을 이용하여 흠 네트워크를 구축하는 방안으로 최근 들어 전력선을 이용한 통신 시스템 개발에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 지금까지는 변압기 2차측에 설치되는 라우터나 전력신호와 통신 신호를 커플링하는 커플러 개발 등의 하드웨어에 대한 연구와 흠 네트워크 관리를 위한 웹브라우저의 개발에 대한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 실제 흠 네트워크 제어를 위한 운영체제에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전력선 통신망 이용환경 하에서의 가전 네트워크 및 인터넷을 포괄하여 관리할 수 있는 전용 운영체제의 구성과 흠 네트워크를 위한 전력선 네트워크 어댑터의 기본 구조를 고찰 하였다.

본 논문에서는 PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)을 이용하여 보안성 있는 흠 네트워크 가전 단말기 제어 시스템을 개발한다. PDA와 같은 이동 단말기가 발달함에 따라 외부 네트워크에서 흠 네트워크에 접속하여 가전 장비들을 제어하는 연구가 매우 중요하다. 그러나 방화벽만으로 홈 네트워크의 장비를 안전하게 제어하기에는 많은 문제점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 외부네트워크에서 흠 네트워크로의 안전한 접근 및 제어를 위한 가상 사설망(Virtual Private Network)을 흠 네트워크 제어 시스템에 적용하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 다양한 흠 네트워크 단말기에 적용 할 수 있고 홈 네트워크간의 호환성을 높이기 위해서 OSGi(Open Service Gateway Initiative)프레임워크를 사용한다.

음향재료의 성능을 예측하기 위해서는 음향재료의 여러 물성들을 알아야 한다. 그러나 음향재료의 물성들을 측정하는 것은 매우 시간이 오래 걸리며, 복잡한 작업이다. 실제로 비틀림률이나 특성길이들은 정확하게 측정하기가 상당히 까다롭고 어렵다. 음향재료 각각의 물성들이 흠음률과 표면임피던스에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 임피던스 튜브에서 측정한 수직입사 흠음률을 이용하여 물성들을 추정하였다. 추정된 물성과 실험을 통하여 얻어진 음향재료의 물성을 비교하고, 추정된 물성들을 토대로 음향학적으로 모델링된 이론식으로 예측된 흡음률과 임피던스 튜브를 이용하여 측정한 흠음률을 비교하여 타당성을 검토하였다.

Standardization of the home-networking technologies and the home network trial has been tried to activate the home network services and develop the new business models. Home network mobile service using a cellular phone provides the control and monitoring the states of the information appliances and HA(home automation) devices through a home network gateway interworking with a home server. For this purpose, the home network mobile application in a cellular phone can automatically change the configuration of the information appliances and HA devices interworking with a home server. In this paper, we propose the home appliance auto-configuration scheme using XML for home network mobile services. The proposed scheme is implemented on WIPI of the domestic mobile platform standardization.

With the progress of portable appliances such as cell phone and handhold PC, the popularization of Personal Area Network (PAN) and the diversification of services that are based on Personal Mobile Gateway (PMG) . To use home services at any time regardless of their Position, it needs a virtual home network that a home network and outside networks are finally integrated. Although interoperability among home appliances reached their service stage, research for services and middleware for new small scale network such as PAN is at an early stage. Traditional home network service/connection methods, terminal control schemes, and middlewares must be extended to accommodate PMG-based PAM. In this paper, we propose an integrated virtual home network Platform that guarantees seamless connections between home network and PAM. We also analyze indispensable functions and presents functions that should be added existent home gateway or home sewer by function.

본 논문에서는 홈 네트워크를 기반으로 한 지능형 홈 로봇의 구현에 대한 내용을 논의하였다. 기존의 로봇들은 대부분 독립적으로 동작하는 형태의 로봇이 주류를 이루었다. 현재 급속히 확산되고 있는 홈 네트워크는 가정 내 장치들이 정보를 주고받을 수 있는 통로의 역할을 할 수 있다. 이러한 로봇을 홈 네트워크 환경과 결합함으로 더욱 지능적이며, 다양한 기능을 구현 할 수 있다 홈 네트워크 환경에서는 로봇이 모든 일을 처리하던 방식에서 탈피하여, 네트워크를 이용한 작업의 분산이라는 이점을 얻을 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 계속적으로 추가되는 가정의 장치들이 네트워크에 연결됨으로 로봇은 이들 장치에 더욱 쉽게 접근할 수 있다. 향후에는 다양한 방식의 흠 네트워크를 기반으로 로봇이 행동하는 지능형 공간 (Smart Space)의 형태로 발전할 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 흠 서버, embedded robot,지능형 로봇으로 구성된 흠 네트워크 기반의 시스템을 제안하고 구현하였다.
