A Study on Factors Influencing the Intention of Playing On-line Games (온라인게임 플레이 의도의 영향요인 연구)

  • This study investigates the determinants of continuous user intention of playing on-line games. Based on the data collected through on-line survey, we find that telepresense and commitment influence on the perceived utility of on-line games which, in turn, has effects on continuous user intention of and information sharing among on-line game players. In addition, the findings support the premise that the method of playing game and challenges influence on commitment, whereas rewards for playing game do not. As another determinant of perceived utility of on-line games, telepresense is found to be guided by diplomatic system and storytelling in on-line games.

The Effect of Motivation for Using Mobile Social Network Games on the Game Attitude, Continuous Use Intention and Intention to Recommend the Game (모바일 소셜 네트워크 게임 이용 동기가 게임태도와 지속적 이용의도 및 추천의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to review the usage behavior of mobile social network games that are attracting attention as a new growth engine in the game market. To that end, a survey was conducted on 250 male and female university students. The result of the study showed that first, the relationship formation motivation and seeking fun during leisure times in association with mobile social network games had a positive effect on game attitudes. Second, the relationship formation motivation had a positive effect on the continuous use intention. Third, the relationship formation motivation and the fun-seeking motivation had a positive effect on word-of-mouth recommendation, while the relationship formation motivation and advertisement recommendation motivation had a positive effect on the intention to recommendation online formats. Fourth, the attitude towards mobile social network games had a positive effect on the continuous use intention. Lastly, the attitude towards mobile social network games had a positive effect on only the intention to recommendation through word-of-mouth. This study is expected to provide useful and basic data for the development of quality game content that will cater to users' needs.

Impact of the User Experience on OTT services on Continuous Use Intention: Mainly focusing on the Use Satisfaction Mediating Effect (OTT 서비스에 대한 사용자 경험이 지속적 이용 의도에 미치는 영향: 이용 만족의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Generally, people act to use Information Technology on the premise of their experience in using various Information Technology. Namely, users perceive Information Technology through their User Experience, and these User Experiences can be said to impact Continuous Use Intention of the Information Technology. Based on this condition, the present study was proceeded to investigate the User Satisfaction's Mediating effect in the relationship between User Experience and Continuous Use Intention of the OTT services. For this purpose, 195 male and female college students' survey data were used for analysis, verified through the SPSS Process Macro. As a result of the analysis, not only the Reliability experience for the OTT services but also the Usability, Convenience, and Pleasurable experiences' User Experiences were verified that Use Satisfaction was Fully Mediating in relation to Continuous Use Intention. This result gives an implication that the importance of User Experience and Use Satisfaction in maintaining customers through continuous use of OTT services are worth noting. Overall, the present study increased the customer utility for OTT services and confirmed the importance of User Experience and Use Satisfaction in order to increase the competitiveness of the company. Also, it proposed a direction for an in-depth future research to develop this study.

The Role of Perceived Cost toward on Continuance Intention of Mobile TV: Focused on Chinese users (지각된 비용이 모바일 TV 지속사용의도에 미치는 영향: 중국 사용자를 중심으로)

  • This study highlight the role of perceived cost on user's continuance intention to use mobile TV service in china. We proposed research model based on the expectation-confirmation model(ECM) and reclaim 243 questionnaires from experienced users in china. Above all, the analysis results support significant relationship perceived variables, satisfaction, and continuance intention of mobile TV. First, while expectation confirmation has positive influence on perceived playfulness and satisfaction, the effect on perceived usefulness is not significant. Second, perceived cost can significantly predict perceived usefulness and satisfaction, however, we found no evidence of a statistically significant influence on perceived playfulness. Third, perceived usefulness and perceived playfulness have a positive influence on satisfaction, and perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and perceived playfulness have a positive influence on continuance intention. This results provide implications from both theoretical and managerial perspectives and the limitations have been discussed for future research.

Influence of Beauty Major Students' Motivation for Major Selection and Sense of Belonging on Learning Persistence Intention : A Comparison between General and Cyber Universities (미용전공자의 전공선택동기와 소속감에 따른 학업지속의도 : 일반대학과 원격대학 비교)

  • Universities that previously targeted in 20s have recently diversified their operation methods, founding purposes, and target. With a significant decrease in the school-age population relative to the number of universities, universities are making their best efforts to secure new students and minimize student attrition. In this study, an online survey was conducted to empirically examine the effects of motivation for major selection and sense of belonging on learning persistence intention among students in beauty-related departments at 2-year and 4-year general universities and cyber universities. The collected data from 119 students at general universities and 113 students at cyber universities were analyzed using SPSS 28. The key findings can be summarized as follows: For general universities, motivation for major selection did not have a significant effect on learning persistence intention, but sense of belonging had a significant positive effect. Additionally, an interaction effect was observed, indicating that as the sense of belonging increased, extrinsic motivation significantly increased learning persistence intention. For cyber universities, intrinsic motivation and sense of belonging among motivations for major selection had a significant positive effect on learning persistence intention, while the moderating effect of sense of belonging in the relationship between motivation for major selection and learning persistence intention was not significant. In summary, for general universities, the factor that influenced students' learning persistence intention was a sense of belonging to the university, while for cyber universities, intrinsic motivation played a significant role. These findings are expected to provide meaningful insights and data for universities to develop effective policies for preventing student attrition.

A Study on the Integration Model of Continuous Intention to Collect K-POP Records Using SNS (SNS를 활용한 K-POP 기록물 수집활동에 대한 지속의도 통합모델 연구)

  • This study conducted a questionnaire survey on SNS users who are conducting K-POP record collection activities using SNS and verified factors affecting the intention to continue K-POP record collection activities. The main methods of analysis were exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and path analysis using SPSS 21.0 program and AMOS 21.0 program. The results are summarized as follows. First, compatibility for K-POP record collection activities through SNS has a positive effect on perceived usefulness, and observability also has a positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Second, perceived ease of use for K-POP records collection using SNS has a positive effect on perceived usefulness. Third, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use for K-POP records collection using SNS have a positive effect on continuous intention of K-POP records collection activity through SNS. As a result of this study, it suggests that the intention to continue the collection activities of K-POP records using SNS can be explained through the integration of innovation diffusion theory and technology acceptance model.

Analyzing the User's Using Attitude of KakaoTalk Plus Friend - Coupon attitude as a Mediator - (카카오톡 플러스 친구 사용자의 이용태도 분석 - 쿠폰태도를 매개변인으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the coupon attitude plays a mediating in the relationship between brand image, brand preference, and information reliability of 'KakaoTalk Plus Friend' and also the coupon attitude plays a mediating role in the relationship between user satisfaction and continuous usage intention. A questionnaire was used the samples of totally 170 people, who is currently using the 'KakaoTalk Plus Friend'. According to analysis, first, the coupon attitude has been shown to be partly mediating effect on the relationship between brand image and information reliability. Second, the coupon attitude has been shown to be not mediating effect on the relationship between brand preference and use satisfaction. Third, the coupon attitude has been shown to be partial mediating effect in relation to user satisfaction. As a result, the coupon attitude has been shown to be mediating effect on the user attitude. This result can help the understanding user attitude and the coupon attitude in the 'KakaoTalk Plus Friend'.

  • Development of smart devices and the network of the company change the way of working. 'Smart work' is a type of work method expected to handle business regardless of the time and space. Therefore, 'Smart Work' is being introduced and gradually expanded in variety of companies. However, despite this popularity its effect is under question. This article reports on the effect of 'Smart Work' through literature review and analyzed the relationship among the worker's job satisfaction, smart work continued usage. The results of this study are expected to help companies to establish strategies connected with 'Smart Work.'

  • Trade portal site is one of the tools which makes it possible for small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) to manage international trade activities more efficiently by using the newest information and telecommunication technology. So Korean SMEs should utilize trade portal sites more actively to promote global competitive power. Based on the theory of service quality and an existing research related to using information technology. this research analyzed the primary factors which affect user's utilization satisfaction in using trade portal sites. According to the results of the empirical study on actual users of the representative trade portal sites by using multiple regression analysis, The primary factors, such as service quality, government policy and cost have affected user's utilization satisfaction in using trade portal site. and user's utilization satisfaction have positive effect on continuous using intention. These research results will provide many useful insights to the managers of trade portal sites, e-trade system developers and government policy makers.
