This study proposed to develop a model for user-customizable policy information services, based on an assessment of policy users' demands and a case analysis of customized services. To do this, we analyzed literature related to user customized services, performed case studies, and carried out a survey targeting policy information consumers. In this way, this study suggested that information retrieval and data offerings, reference information services, policy information network services, library marketing services, and personalized service are details which user-customizable policy information services must provide.

The purpose of this study is to recommend on the public library service for older adults through the analysis of the perceptions of older adults and librarians. To achieve the study purpose, interview method was employed. The interview questions are composed based on the ALA guidelines. According to the study results, the following ten factors were recommended by older adults: 1) various customized life long learning programs for older adults, 2) highly qualified staff for the public library life long learning programs and regular evaluation for the staff, 3) provision of various and new information resources, 4) promotion of public library services and programs, 5) public library staff's kindness and professionalism, 6) regular reeducation of the public library staff, 7) library user education, 8) customized resources, facilities, and equipments for older adults, 9) provision of the library space, and 10) customized library services for older adults. In addition, the following four factors were mentioned by librarians: 1) customized services and programs for older adults, 2) customized collection, facilities, and equipments, 3) adequate budget for public library service for older adults, 4) professionals for the public library service for older adults. The followings were recommended by both the older adults and librarians: 1) Customized library services, programs, collection, equipments, facilities for older adults, 2) Professionals for the public library service for older adults and Regular reeducation for them.

An academic library is one of the largest information sources for international students to obtain learning resources, which have a great impact on their studies. However, most academic libraries currently have not provided adequate multilingual services except English, which makes it difficult for international students whose mother language is not English to perform academic work. Accordingly, the present study defines the customized services for international students as the ones that have been supported in ltiple languages among academic library services and aims to examine their effect on user satisfaction in academic libraries. Furthermore, the study has compared international students' satisfaction with academic libraries - one that provides appropriate customized services with the other that does not. The surveys have been conducted with Chinese international students in two different universities and a total of 138 responses were analyzed. The study found that the customized services for the international students influenced their satisfaction with library use. In particular, multilingual services had positive effects on satisfaction with services such as brochures/signs, access to and use of resources through the homepage, and user instruction. The findings of the study suggest practical insights on how academic libraries provide effective services for supporting international students' academic tasks.

As the core task was selected in the 3rd Comprehensive Library Advancement Plan, 'Reinforcement of programs and services to strengthen future citizens' capacity required in the Fourth Industrial Revolution', the customized curation service of the library using artificial intelligence technology has recently been in the spotlight. The purpose of this study is to find out how the customized curation service affects the relationship between the library and the user. As a result, the library curation service was proved to have a statistically significant effect on user satisfaction and reliability. Satisfaction and reliability were also found to have a positive effect on library revisit, word of mouth intention, increased use, and new service intention. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the development and the operation of customized curation services based on user demand surveys, and could further contribute to enhancing the status of public libraries in Korea by mproving the competitiveness of libraries in the future society.

This study was conducted on the observation that the filter bubble and privacy violation problems are related to the personalized services provided by libraries. This study discussed whether there is the possibility for invasion of privacy when libraries provide services utilizing state-of-the-art technology, such as location-based services, context aware services, RFID-based services, Cloud Services, and book recommendation services. In addition, this study discussed the following three aspects: whether or not users give up their right to privacy when they provide personal information for online services, whether or not there are discussions about users' privacy in domestic libraries, and what kind of risks the filter bubble problem can cause library users and what are possible solutions. This study represents early-stage research on library privacy in Korea, and can be used as basic data for privacy research.

This paper shows a u-Health management system in user's Life environment, which is different from previous ones by enterprises. It's designed for users(citizens) and service provider(especially providing medical service). This paper is discussing on the proof on the service model being operated near the Tancheon stream in the city of Sung-nam. To maximize users' satisfaction, this service has been designed on four disciplines(so easy, so simple, well-customized, funny feedback) in the viewpoint for users. Its algorithm has 4 levels which are measurement, prescription, monitoring and feedback. In the system. there are HCBs(health check boothes) checking out status and assessment of users, customized health prescription customized a health management service prescription engine, exercise programs customized on exercise equipments near the stream and monitoring system.

The User-Oriented Public Transit Service provide public transit service through media devices, such as mobile, BIT and In-vehicle display devices, which considered user's individual characteristics and specific preference anytime and anywhere. The objective of this study is to develop and improve the services in the three media devices. This study applied user-satisfaction analysis in evaluating the service in Busan, analyze factor affecting the level of service user's satisfaction, and draw remedies based on the analysis results. The user's satisfaction average values in each media are 3.29 mobile, 3.62 BIT, and 4.05 In-vehicle display devices. Overall satisfaction average value 3.54 on the service showed a positive reaction from the survey participants. The important factor affected on general satisfaction of the User-Oriented Public Transit Service is "In-vehicle display devices" scored .632 (standardized coefficient) by categorical regression analysis. But users prefer to further improve the service environment rather than to add service information because they are already contented with the information they are getting. Furthermore, this study suggested ways of improving the User-Oriented Public Transit Service based on the satisfaction analysis results from the user's perspective.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current practices of the customized bibliographic instructions (CBI) at four-year academic libraries in Korea. Among the entire 206 academic libraries, a total of 149 libraries participated in the survey. Study result shows that the libraries providing CBI was 63.1%. The findings of the study revealed the overall picture of the CBI operated in Korean academic libraries. The findings of the study suggested useful strategies to apply in adopting and operating the CBI in academic libraries in Korea.

The National Assembly record is considered one of the most valuable public records because it has great value as a historical evidence of democracy. Therefore, it is not only used as a reference or evidence for work, but also used for academic purposes. Academic information users can improve their intellectual skills in our society, lead to indirect innovation, and provide customized services to them, which can increase the continuous viewing and utilization rate of records management institutions. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to propose a plan to activate the academic information service of the National Assembly Records Preservation Center, which is in charge of the National Assembly records. To this end, interviews were conducted with practitioners in charge of literature research, case studies, and services at the National Assembly Archives and users of academic information. It proposed improving awareness of the National Assembly Archives, strengthening online services, and customized user services.
