수치제어선반의 이송특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of Feed Mechanism in NC Lathe)

  • In this paper, the motion of ballscrew and shape of workpiece are the main objective variables varying with load conditions. To verify feed mechanism in NC lathe, the monitoring system is designed and cutting condition variables are spindle speed depth of cut and feed. During machining, rotation number of ballscrew motion of ballscrew in direction to gravity center and cutting force are measured. After machining, the roughness of workpiece is measured.

  • 해사산업분야에서 양성평등 정책과 여성참여확대는 국제적으로 중요성을 인정받고 있다. 전세계 다양한 국가에서 선박운항, 해운 및 해양 보안등의 분야에서 여성역할을 강조하고 있으며 이를 위한 정책 및 프로그램은 확대되고 있다. UN의 지속가능한발전 목표(SDG) 5번은 양성평등으로써 UN 산하 국제기구인 (IMO)에서도 이를 구현하기 위한 활발한 여성참여 국제정책을 확대하고 장려하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 국제적으로 인정을 받고 있는 여성단체(WIMA, WISTA)의 활동과 IMO에서 운영하는 해사분야 여성 참여 정책에 대한 동향을 제시한다.

  • In this paper, a new type of inchworm motion actuator is introduced. This is consisted of two piezoelectric ceramics; one is for moving the slider, and the other is for clamping the slider in the guide way of the body. The linearity and positional accuracy of the system is good enough for the high precision motion. Since the system is more compact than the conventional system using three piezoelectric ceramics, it is applicable fur the micro-machine or MEMS. However, the effort for reducing the vibration, velocity discrepancy in the motion direction, and compensating the hysteresis behavior is additionally needed.

  • Cause of noise/vibration for the sheet feeding apparatus of digital MFP is investigated by analyzing the measured sound pressure and the strategy for reducing the noise level is suggested. Factors related to the noise/vibration are found by loading test and the measurement of the noise by assembling the components. By checking the center distance between gears and the boss height, precision of assembly is identified as a main factor of noise. From the result of analysis, it can be concluded that the noise level of sheet feeding apparatus can be reduced by maintaining the distance between gears and the precision of assembly adequately.

마찰구동기구로 구동되는 초정밀 이송계의 특성 평가 (Performance Assessment for Feeding System of Ultraprecision Machine Tool Driven by friction Drive)

  • The positioning system fur the ultraprecision machine tool should have nanometer order of positioning resolution. For the purpose of achieving that resolution, various feed drive devices have been proposed and currently hydrostatic lead screw and friction drive are paid attention. It is reported that an angstrom resolution can be achieved by using twist-roller friction drive. So we have manufactured ultraprecision feeding system driven by the twist-roller friction drive and perform performance assessment for problem definition and solution finding. As a result, we found that the twist-roller friction drive is mechanically suitable for ultraprecision positioning but some considerations are needed to get higher resolution.

  • In this paper, we investigate the vibration source of sheet feeding apparatus installed in scanner cover of the digital MFP through frequency analysis. Gearmesh frequency and motor generated frequency were calculated to analyse autospectrum. During driving state, we measure the vibration level. It was found from the signal analysis that gearmesh frequency and motor generated frequency are identified as vibration source.

  • Linear motor is characterized by its high velocity, high acceleration and good positioning accuracy. In recent years, linear motor is often used as a fast feed mechanism for high-speed machine tools. For the effective application of linear motors to machine tools, many demands on machine conceptions must be fulfilled. In this paper, some important construction concepts such as bending deformation of machine table, frictional force on the linear guidance and thermal behavior of linear motors are presented.

  • This paper presents a developing algorithm of checking errors of feed mechanism in the NC machine tool with DAC method. It is useful to check static and dynamic rigidity with relation between lost motion and current of rotor. For checking error of feed in assembly tuning with machining center proposed checking algorithm is useful.
