A Study on the Impact of AI Edge Computing Technology on Reducing Traffic Accidents at Non-signalized Intersections on Residential Road (이면도로 비신호교차로에서 AI 기반 엣지컴퓨팅 기술이 교통사고 감소에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • We used actual field data to analyze from a traffic engineering perspective how AI and edge computing technologies affect the reduction of traffic accidents. By providing object information from 20m behind with AI object recognition, the driver secures a response time of about 3.6 seconds, and with edge technology, information is displayed in 0.5 to 0.8 seconds, giving the driver time to respond to intersection situations. In addition, it was analyzed that stopping before entering the intersection is possible when speed is controlled at 11-12km at the 10m point of the intersection approach and 20km/h at the 20m point. As a result, it was shown that traffic accidents can be reduced when the high object recognition rate of AI technology, provision of real-time information by edge technology, and the appropriate speed management at intersection approaches are executed simultaneously.

The Study of Facial Hair Weakening Ability Using Urea or Anti-oxidants for Shaving (우레아 및 항산화제를 이용한 면도를 위한 수염 강도 약화 연구)

  • In this study, facial hair weakening ability of urea and anti-oxidants for shaving was investigated. The hair weakening ability and cross-section increase of hair depends on concentration of urea. The results showed that urea affects swelling of hair and this is related to the hair weakening ability. Anti-oxidants showed outstanding weakening ability despite of their low concentrations by breaking disulfide bond in facial hair. To evaluate the suitability of urea and anti-oxidants for facial cosmetic products, in vitro safety tests were proceeded. The results showed that urea and glutathione were safe for face. As a result, urea and glutathione were safe and outstanding as hair weakening agent for cosmetic shaving products.

  • 국내 첫 인쇄관련 공모전이 개최된다. (재)서울인쇄센터에서 주관하는 '서울인쇄대상' 이 바로 그것. '서울인쇄대상' 이 첫 행사임에도 불구하고 많은 인쇄인들의 관심을 모으고 있는 이유는 아무래도 최근 가격경쟁만으로 치닫고 있는 인쇄산업의 현실에 신선한 충격과 함께 변화의 바람을 불어줄 것으로 기대되기 때문이다. 그러나 첫 행사이기 때문에 기대에 부족한 면도 많다. 그러나 '서울인쇄대상' 은 국내 인쇄관련 공모전의 문을 열었다는데 그 의미를 찾아야 할 것이다. 이에 본지에서는 인쇄관련 공모전들이 더욱 발전하기 위한 방법은 무엇인지 살펴봤다.

  • There were many theories to suggest the indicators that evaluate stability and reflect the plan in mixed traffic street in all traffic modes This Paper analyzed residential street of Suwon City adopting time-space occupancy index among these indicates. Three survey street. congregated into apartment house. were selected to analyze this and pictured by video camera over one hour. and the length of these street were 76m, 55m, and 34m each, and major street by each region, comparably high in Pedestrians and pass vehicles, were selected. Basic datum to calculate time-space occupancy index and time-space occupancy index per person was gathered through video analysis. i.e Parameters for pedestrians, cars, bicycles, average speed of bicycles, and parking car. There are some limitation to analyze LOS of mixed traffic street in all traffic modes, not pedestrian mall. Therefore this paper presented evaluation standard of LOS. In conclusion. the aim of this paper is to suggest modeling based on guidelines for evaluating LOS of mixed traffic street in all traffic modes. It is estimated that this will be influencing indicates for improving pedestrian environment, and Planning mixed traffic street in future.

  • 우주관측은 매우 먼거리를 여행해오는 미약한 광신호를 탐지하여 분석하는 일이다. 천문학에서의 신호분석은 광신호의 총량을 측정하는 비교적 단순한 면도 있지만, 이 보다는 주로 세밀한 광신호 공간분포구조 혹은 고분해능의 파장별 광신호 분포를 충분한 S/N비로 알고자 하는 경우가 대부분이다. 통째로 받아도 매우 미약한 입사신호를 공간적으로 혹은 파장에 따라 지극히 미세하게 쪼개어 연구의 대상으로 삼는 것이다. 이처럼 어두운 우주의 심연과 먼 과거에 대한 관측을 추구하는 현대천문학은 대단히 도전적인 기술적 발전을 항상 필요로 해왔다.

  • 본 연구는 발정주기에 따른 개의 미성숙난자의 체외배양 0시간째 핵의 발달단계를 비교ㆍ검토하였다. 발정주기가 다른 개의 난소를 적출 하여 항생제가 첨가된 38℃의 0.9% 생리식염수가 들어있는 보온병에 넣어 2시간 이내에 연구실로 운반하고 난소를 면도날로 세절하여 난포란을 회수하였고, 난구세포 제거 후 Chohan과 Hunter (2003) 방법에 준하여 10 ug/ml Hoechst 33342를 이용한 핵염색을 실시하여 핵의 모양을 판명하였다. 조사된 결과는 SAS 8.0 Package를 이용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. A Study on Present Condition and Adjustment of the Minmium Height Regulation District in Busan Metropolitan City (부산시 최저고도지구 실태 및 기준조정에 관한 연구)

  • The Purpose of this study is to find the adjustment of the minimum height regulation district in Busan metropolitan city. For this purpose, data of buildings in the minimum height regulation district are collected and analysed. Especially, detailed data of buildings in CBD are analysed. The results of this study provide that CBD's average building height is the fourth floor and the ratio that a building less than the fourth floor holds in total building is 51%. In the case of central area, CBD's building height should be maintained and it is necessary to make the policy that reinforce limited height for the high land use and landscape management. Based on these findings this study suggests that the limit building height should put it up more than the seventh floor.

  • In recent years, with increasing utilization of mobile devices such as smartphones, the need for PNS(Pedestrian Navigation Systems) that provide guidance for moving pedestrians is increasing. For the navigation services, road network is the most important component when it comes to creating route and guidance information. In particular, pedestrian network requires modeling methods for more detailed and vast space compared to road network. Therefore, more efficient method is needed to establish pedestrian network that was constructed by existing field survey and manual editing process. This research proposed a pedestrian network creation method appropriate for pedestrians, based on CNS(Car Navigation Systems) data that already has been broadly constructed. Pedestrian network was classified into pedestrian link(sidewalk, side street, walking facility) and openspace link depending on characteristics of walking space, and constructed by applying different methodologies in order to create path that similar to the movements of actual pedestrians. The proposed algorithm is expected to become an alternative for reducing the time and cost of pedestrian network creation.
