An Optimal COA Defuzzifier for a Fuzzy Logic controller (퍼지 논리 제어기를 위한 최적의 COA 비퍼지화기)

  • This paper proposes an optimal COA(Center Of Area) defuzzification method that improves the contr~lp erformance of a fuzzy logic controller. The defuzzification method incorporates both the membership values and the effective span of membership function6 in calculating a crisp value. An optimal effective span is determined automatically by the genetic algorithm thrqugh the training of some typical examples. Simulation of the proposed COA defuzzifier to the truck backer-upper control problem is presented and the control performance of the praposed COA defuzzifier outperforms that of the conventional COA defuzzifier by more than 20% in terms of ayerage tracing distance.

  • 본 논문에서는 도심지 이동 통신에서 SINR 성능을 향상시키기 위해 기존의 배열 안테나에 최소 평균 자승(LMS) 알고리즘을 적용하여 실제 배열 출력과 이상적 출력간의 최소 평균 오차(MSE)를 최소화하고 안테나의 배열로부터 가중치를 결합한 신호에 의해 방향성을 적절히 제어하여 간섭신호를 효과적으로 제거한다. 배열 출력 신호 대 간섭에 추가된 잡음비(SINR) 성능 분석에 적합한 삼차원적 분석을 사용하여 적응 배열 원소를 사용한 성능과 모노폴 안테나 원소에서 배열의 성능을 비교한다. 또한, SINR 패턴 각 비(PAR)를 사용하여 적응 배열 원소 방위, 내부 원소간의 간격들 그리고 입사 신호 방향들과 같은 다른 배열 매개 변수들에서 배열 성능을 계산하고 SINR 패턴의 양적 평가를 한다. 결과로서, 적응 배열 원소가 가정된 신호 환경에 있어 4상파형(quarterwave) 모노폴(monopole) 안테나 배열보다 더 바람직하다.

Data Evaluation Methods for Real Driving Emissions using Portable Emissions Measurement System(PEMS) (PEMS를 이용한 실제도로 주행 배출가스 측정 데이터 분석방법)

  • Recently, an emission test procedure using a portable emissions measurement system(PEMS) has received much attention as an effective means of controlling real driving emissions from light-duty diesel vehicles. The PEMS-based test procedure will be implemented from 2017 in Europe and Korea as a complementary test procedure for certification and regulation. In the present study, on-road NOx emissions were measured for four kinds of Euro 5 Korean light-duty diesel vehicles under real driving conditions, including urban, rural, and motorway test routes. The real driving emission characteristics were evaluated using both a moving averaging window(MAW) and the weighted emission method(WEM). The evaluated NOx emission results (under real driving conditions) from the MAW and WEM showed similar tendencies for the test vehicles and routes, while exceeding the certification emission limit by 1.8~8.5 and 2.0~10.6 times, respectively.

A Study on the Optimun Speed Measurement for the Speed Control of a Diesel Engine (디젤기관의 속도제어를 위한 최적회전수 측정에 관한 연구)

  • A diesel Engine rotates vibratively because of alternative explosion strokes. Traditional measurement of a diesel engine speed is carried out by measuring output voltage of FV convertor from input signals of MPU(magnetic pickup unit) or of DC tachometer. Because these measurement include also vibrative rotation of a diesel engine, an analog filter is often used to eliminate high frequency noises due to periodic explosion stroke. But by this method these high frequency noises do not eliminated effectively because noise frequencies are changed according to diesel engine speed. In this paper, author proposes a new measurement method of a diesel engine revolution which read digital signal directly from MPU and prove the utility of proposed method through the real experiment.

  • ubiquitous network management system (u-NMS) is the network management system based on smartphone which are recently of wide use. The purpose of the u-NMS is to provide convenience for network administrator utilizing the mobility of smartphone and to manage the network efficiently. This paper proposes the smart NMS agent and the mobility management server (MMS). The smart NMS agent enables to use the monitoring web server and remote control application on the smartphone in wireless network. The MMS is developed to reduce the problems such as handover latency and packet loss, which can be taken place in wireless network. The network manager can monitor traffic in real time through the smart NMS agent and remotely control the network efficiently when sudden failures happen in the u-NMS. In this paper, performance evaluation is carried out with our test-bed system implemented. We focus on the measurement of the MMS performance. When the MMS is compared to previous mobility management protocol, our mobility management server reduces the average latency up to 65% in initial access, handover latency and processing delay to the network management center.

Performance Evaluation of Software Timer for Real-time Control of the Subsea Walking Robot CR200 (해저보행로봇 CR200의 실시간 제어를 위한 소프트웨어 타이머의 성능 평가)

  • 한국해양연구원에서 개발하고 있는 해저보행로봇 CR200은 6개의 다리를 이용하여 해저면에서 보행으로 이동하며 정밀 해저탐사 및 작업을 수행할 수 있는 로봇이다. 운용자는 선상제어실에서 유선으로 연결된 CR200을 원격으로 모니터링하거나 제어한다. 특히 안정적인 보행을 위해서는 100Hz의 주기로 CR200의 상태 정보가 선상제어실로 전송되고, 선상제어실에서는 전송된 정보를 기반으로 제어 명령을 산출하여 CR200으로 전송해야 한다. 이러한 주기적인 실시간 제어를 위해서는 일반적으로 실시간 운영체제를 사용하지만, 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제를 사용하지 않고 시스템 시간 기반의 백그라운드 프로세스로 동작하는 소프트웨어 타이머를 사용하여 실시간 제어를 하는 방법을 제안하고, 성능 평가 결과를 제시한다. 제안한 방법의 실시간 속성을 검증하기 위하여, 현재 설계에서 운영체제로 고려하고 있는 우분투 10.04와 윈도우즈 7을 CR200에 탑재되는 Advantech 사의 PCM-3362 보드에 설치하여 소프트웨어 타이머의 성능을 10ms부터 100ms까지 각각 실험하였다. 실험결과에 따르면, 두 운영체제에서 모두 누락이 없이 타이머 동작이 수행되었으며, 10ms 간격으로 타이머를 동작하였을 때에 우분투에서는 평균 오차가 $41{\mu}s$이었고 윈도우즈 7에서는 7.7ms였다. 윈도우즈 7에서의 오차는 100Hz 제어 주기에 사용하기에 적합하지 않지만, 우분투에서의 오차는 제어 주기 간격의 0.41%에 불과하기 때문에 해저보행로봇의 실시간 제어에 영향을 주지 않는 오차이다. 따라서 CR200의 임베디드 컴퓨터와 선상제어실의 원격제어 컴퓨터는 우분투 운영체제 상에서 소프트웨어 타이머를 이용하여 상호 연동되도록 구현할 예정이다.

An Intelligent Land Vehicle Information System for CDMA-based Wireless Remote Diagnosis and Management (CDMA기반 무선 원격진단 및 관리를 위한 지능형 차량 정보 시스템)

  • Researches on services of vehicles have been mainly focused on how to provide useful information and entertainment for an in-vehicle driver. However, the needs are appreciably increased for more advanced services that help drivers to check and manage their vehicles conveniently, without requiring drivers to attach to their vehicles. It is a sort of ubiquitous computing, providing an intelligent interactive services for human at any time and any where. In this paper, we present an intelligent vehicle information system to enable a driver to remotely diagnose and control a vehicle via CDMA communication network connected to the Internet. The system improves mobility for diagnosis and control of vehicle by implementing a cut and call back mechanism, which allows the vehicle terminal to have access to the information server on the Internet via CDMA call. No matter where the driver is, he can obtain the remote diagnosis and control services on the web browser without any additional application installation. Design methodology is introduced and evaluation results are analyzed for the CDMA-based intelligent vehicle information system. The experimental results show that the response time of the vehicle terminal to a web client request is 10.302 seconds at the beginning and 646.44ms thereafter. The average response time of CAN sensor node to a vehicle terminal request is 6.669ms.

A Study on Arc Sensor for Weld Seam Tracking by Using Fuzzy Control (퍼지제어를 이용한 용접선 추적용 아크센서에 관한 연구)

  • Experimental models which are able to determine the deviation between weld line and weaving center by measuring the weld current during welding were proposed for the gas metal arc welding process. The models were used for developing a weld seam tracking system which controls the weaving speed of a welding torch. However, it was revealed that the tracking result of the system is affected by the welding conditions. Thus an arc sensor system was developed by using fuzzy control approach for overcoming the difficulty of modelling the nonlinear process. The rule base and parameters of the fuzzy control system were determined on the basis of the results of experiments. This fuzzy control system has shown the successful tracking capability for the wide operating range of welding conditions.

  • 본 논문은 신경망을 이용한 간섭 신호 제어로써 복합 다중 퍼셉트론에서 DS/SS 이동 통신에서의 수신된 신호들을 역전파 학습알고리즘을 이용하여 검출하는 것에 대하여 연구한다. 수신 신호가 일정한 비트율을 갖는 채널에 전송하기 위하여 신경망을 이용한 새로운 탭 가중치 갱신 제어 방법을 제안한다. 적응 횡단선 필터는 심볼간의 채널에 발생하는 상호 심볼간 간섭을 억압하기 위해 LMS 알고리즘 사용한다. 이 알고리즘은 원하는 응답과 실제 출력간의 차인 에러를 이용하여 탭 가중치 조절 메카니즘을 통해 탭 가중치를 갱신함으로서 효과적으로 간섭을 제거하였다. 본 논문은 상호 심볼간 간섭을 효율적으로 억압해온 기존의 LMS 알고리즘에 다계층 퍼셉트론 신경망을 조합한 새로운 BISP 알고리즘을 제안하였으며, 제안된 알고리즘을 통해 탭 가중치 갱신이 보다 효율적으로 이루어짐을 알 수 있다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 제안된 알고리즘의 평균 자승 에러의 수렴 특성이 기존 LMS 알고리즘을 이용한 수렴특성보다 우월하다는 것을 나타내었다.

  • performance of the cellular CDMA overlay system is analyzed which shares the same band with existing microwave narrowband system to enhance the spectral efficiency. To suppress the interfreence from narrowband system, we used a linear predicition filter that adopts the adaptive least mean square algorithm. Alalyzing the performance in the Personal Communication Services channel, characterized as a multipath Rician fadng channels, we considered the power control to solve the near-far problem, and-off and multipath diversity. We also considered interleaving and channel coding to improve BER performance of the CDMA system.
