정보통신분야에서도 IMF 위기극복의 타개책의 하나로 해외시장 개척 및 진출확대를 촉진하는 방향으로 정책의 기조가 전환되고 있다. 본 고에서는 지난 15여 년 간 선진 통신장비 업체들의 해외진출 실태 파악을 통해 그 특성과 유형을 분석함으로써, 향후 국내 통신업계의 해외진출 전략수립 시 고려해야 할 몇 가지 시사점을 제시하였다.

내용 휴대폰을 이용한 게임이 재미있는 이유는 자바 호환성, TFT 디스플레이 상의 컬러 그래픽, 오디오, 무선 다운로드, 무료체험 기회 및 1인 또는 멀티플레이어 옵션 등이 있기 때문으로 보인다. 특히 고속 무선 인터넷 서비스가 보급되면서 게임의 선택은 더욱 확대되고 있으며, 때로는 PC 및 콘솔게임과 유사한 타이틀을 가지는 경우가 흔하다. AT&T 와이리어스, 싱글러 와이리어스, 스프린트 PCS, T-모바일 USA, 버라이존 와이어리스 등의 미국 이동전화 사업자들은 최근 흥미진진한 무선게임 제공에 적극 나서고 있다.

The new wireless multimedia environment is coming because of the variety of an user requirement and a traffic increase which we can not accept in the IMT-2000 present systems. To offer the wireless multimedia service the world wireless communication company which included the ITU-R is developing the standard and technique of 4G systems. We analyzed the technique criteria of the 4G wireless communication system in this paper which is based on that of WiBro System. The mobile communication traffic is predicted Up/Down-link of non-symmetric in the future. And we proposed the PHY layer parameters of occupied frequency bandwidth of Up/Down-link with both 1:3 and 1:6. And we verified this through the simulation. So we proposed the technique criteria for 4G wireless communication in this paper.

최근 정지 및 이동중에도 고속의 데이터 전송속도를 보장하는 휴대인터넷 서비스에 대하여 많은 관심이 증폭되고 있고, 특히 휴대인터넷 사업에 대하여 통신업계의 관심은 더더욱 증가되고 있다. 이에 발맞춰 KT는 휴대인터넷 상용화에 대비하여 OFDMA 기술을 포함한 다양한 기술방식의 무선시스템을 도입하여 종합 Testbed를 구축하고 운용하였다. 본고에서는 구축된 무선시스템의 기술검증을 위한 성능 평가 방안과 Testbed의 구축 및 운용에 대하여 논하였다.

무선인터넷 도입 2년을 맞고 있는 국내 이동통신업계 가입자 수의 폭발적인 증가, 다양한 서비스의 제공, 벤쳐들의 모바일 분야 진출러쉬, 해외진출 등 외형적으로 괄목할 만한 성장을 보이고 있다. 하지만 시장참여자들은 하나같이 소문난 잔치에 먹을 것이 없다는 입장이다. 무엇이 문제인가\ulcorner 가장 큰 이유는 무선인터넷의 외적인 성장에 비해 각 player들이 만족할 만한 수익을 거두지 못한 데서 기인한 것이다. 인기에 영합해 모방지형의 단면적인 현행의 비즈니스 모델로는 지속적인 수익창출에 한계가 있기 때문이다. 일찍이 이러한 상황을 맞이한 일본의 경우, 비즈니스모델의 복합화를 통해 수익기반을 확대하거나 아예 바꾸는 등의 노력으로 이러한 상황을 타개해 나가고 있다. 현행 국내 무선인터넷 업계의 문제점 진단과 수익구조 확대를 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

최근 차량 내부의 전자 제어장치에 대한 운전자의 편의성 및 안전성의 요구 수준이 높아지고 있으며 이러한 수요자의 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 자동차 업계에서도 첨단식 편의기능을 갖춘 자동차의 개발에 많은 초점을 모으고 있는 추세이다. 이에 대응해 차량 내부의 전자시스템 사이에 상호 통신을 위한 차량용 네트워크 기술도 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 특히 대용량 데이터를 고속으로 전송할 수 있도록 높은 대역폭을 제공하는 차량용 광 네트워크가 주목 받고 있으며 현재 일부 차량에 도입되어 양산되고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 기술적 변화에 맞춰서 본 연구에서는 차량용 광 통신 네트워크 표준인 "MOST"의 백본망을 구축하여 무선 이동 단말기 보드(MV Board)를 통해 MOST 광 네트워크에 연결되어 있는 여러 장치들에 대한 다양한 정보를 수신할 수 있고 MOST네트워크 동작 및 운영상태를 확인해 볼 수 있는 시스템을 구성하였다.

The Moon government, launched in May 2017, regards telecommunication service as part of people's welfare and is trying to save telecommunication costs. However, the direction of policy presented is assessed as symptomatic approach. This is largely attributable to the a partial improvement approach from the framework of the present mobile telecommunication industry. However if we restart from an essential point of view, the result is likely to be much better. The nation's mobile communication costs are not adequate because the government's role was not sufficient. There is a problem with the mobile phone supply chain, the subsidy payment mechanism, and the billing system. Addressing these complex issues requires the establishment of an independent system of handset distribution from telecommunication companies, ban on discriminative subsidies payment, and adoption of volume rate system. Telecommunications Business Act that defines the service charges to normalize the market might be somewhat useful, but the normal application of the Fair Trade Act is more important.

We referred to the technique criteria of the WiBro system and deduced an occupied frequency bandwidth which is the common element of the uplink and downlink system among main wireless communication technique criteria. And we verified this through the simulation. So we proposed the occupied frequency bandwidth for 4G wireless communication in this paper.

K모바일이 주최하고 정보통신부 등이 후원한‘제8회 코리아 모바일 그랜드 컨퍼런스’가 지난달 11일과 12일 이틀간에 걸쳐 약 700여명의 업계 관계자가 참석한 가운데 성황리에 개최됐다‘. 2004 모바일 난세(亂世), 新수익모델을 창출하라!’는 주제로 한국과학기술회관 국제회의장에서 개최된 이번 컨퍼런스에서는 SK텔레콤, KTF, LG텔레콤 등 이동통신 3사를 비롯해 모바일콘텐츠 업체와 포털업체 관계자들이 차례로 나와 최근 모바일 시장의 흐름과 자사의 전략에 대해 발표했다. 특히 이번 컨퍼런스에서는 모바일 관련 정책 및 서비스, 플랫폼, 단말기 등 산업 전 분야에 대한 발표와 토론이 이뤄져 모바일 산업의 흐름을 한 눈에 살펴볼 수있는 자리였다는 점에서 의미를 가진다

The government has the responsibility to prevent abuses of monopoly and promote competition in order to maximize consumer welfare. The government should address the asymmetry in the information as much as possible and ensure consumer choice. The subsidy seems to reduce the burden on the consumer service charges and handset prices but it actually distorts the market through price discrimination. The government caused the principal-agent problem by neglecting their appropriate role to prevent distortion of the mobile telecom market. The money used as subsidy is part of excess profit and could be transferred to down the price of mobile phone and charges and it would become a benefit to consumers. Separate announcement of subsidies by Mobile Communications Terminal Distribution Structure Improvement Act is a little developed policy but it was not actually realized. The market price close to that from perfect competition structure is plausible, ultimately.
