The turnover rate of information security professionals in Korea is over 10% and turnover into non-information security fields accounts for over 50% of all the turnovers [1]. It is not only important to recruit a new quality workforce, but also to make the current workforce perform satisfactorily, to improve their performance, and eventually to attain information security objectives. This study proposes a Markov chain model for the turnover process of information security professionals and forecasts the job duty composition of information security professionals. The results of this study can be applied to secure the justification of government policies for the promotion of information security professionals.

This study uses the contingent valuation method to estimate the switching cost for adopting the MVNO service. The findings are as follows.: First, Willingness To Switch(WTS) increases as users' using pattern and perceived degree of MVNO service, but satisfaction with current service provider does not play a significant role in predicting Switching Cost. This means that as amount of money users can save exceeds a certain level, users decide to willingly change their service provider to MVNO regardless of their level of satisfaction with current service provider. Second, there are differences in WTS among service subscribers in SKT, KT and LGU+. It means that there will be a difference in the tendency to switch to MVNO among subscribers of service providers. This study suggest the following mangerial perspective to effectively promote the MVNO and boost the MVNO market for activation of mobile data services.: First, MVNOs are better off applying differentiated pricing scheme at attractive rates than using a differentiation of service product and quality. Second, regulators should consider how to implement an MVNO regulatory policy when there is an asymmetric customer loyalty among MNOs. This research will be used to set the MVNO's pricing strategy and to build up a successful regulatory policies.

Cellular operators develop high speed mobile internet and multi-function cellular phones to activate new business model based on mobile internet services. Domestic cellular operators evolve their mobile networks from cdma2000-1x and EvDo to HSDPA to activate high speed mobile internet services. They also develop mobile internet platforms such as WIPI, BREW, and J2ME on multi-function cellular phones having multimedia solutions such as camera, MP3, MPEG, 3D game engine, DMB, PAN such as bluetooth, IrDA, W-LAN, and location information using GPS. But, content providers have problems of redevelopment of the same mobile internet application on different mobile internet platforms provided by cellular operators. In this paper, we develop conversion solutions for interoperability of mobile internet applications on WIPI and BREW using an one-pass compiler. We confirm the performance the proposed conversion solutions for the API conversion rate, the converted file size, and the full conversion time using the popular mobile games which are the killer applications on WiPI and BREW.

In shipyard site, a ship is constructed by integrating lots of modules that are made in several sites with different capabilities and specifications. Recently, it needs to make a shipyard to be smart communicating various multimedia information with wired and wireless broadband networks between hierarchical shipyards. In this paper, we propose an additional function of an LTE femtocell local gateway at a remote shipyard, an information exchange method between hierarchical shipyards, and an offload method to separate the general traffic. To reduce traffic of duplicated requests in shipyard, we apply a D2D communication scheme for supporting communication between shipyard equipments without IP service network. Hence, it is expected to increase the productivity of shipyard industry with mobile communications, D2D and broadband Internet technologies.

Recently, 357 water-friendly space were established near the main streams of the country through the Four Major Rivers Project, which was used as a resting and leisure space for the citizens, and the river environment and ecological health were improved. We are working hard to reduce the number of points and plan and manage the water-friendly space. In particular, attempts are being made to utilize mobile big data to make more scientific and systematic research on the number of users. However, when using mobile big data compared to the existing method of conducting field surveys, it is possible to easily identify spatial user movement patterns, but it is different from the actual amount of use, so various verifications are required to solve this problem. Therefore, this study evaluated the accuracy of estimating the number of users using mobile big data by comparing the number of visitors using mobile big data and the number of visitors using drone for Samrak ecological park located in the mouth of Nakdong River. As a result, in the river hydrophilic district, it was difficult to accurately estimating the usage pattern of each facility due to the low precision of pCELL, and it was confirmed that the usage patterns in the park could be distorted due to the signals stopped at roads and parking lots. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the number of pCELLs in the water-friendly space and to estimate the number of visitors excluding facilities such as roads and parking lots in future mobile big data processing.

In this paper, we estimate the investment cost for the IMT-2000 services in Korea. The network elements for the IMT-2000 system are drawn out and the required number of base stations(Node-B) is predicted by using the coverage of the base station. With the assumption of the 2-generation mobile communications network configuration, the number of radio network controllers(RNC's) and core network facilities is estimated. We also setup different scenarios by considering the utilization of the transmission facilities between base stations, RNC's and switching systems, and then evaluate the investment cost for each scenario.

자동차 산업이 발달함에 따라 운전자와 탑승자의 편의를 제공하기 위한 연구인 텔레매틱스 사업이 발달하고 있다. 최근 텔레매틱스의 연구는 기존의 사용자에게 편의를 제공하는 것에서 사용자의 안전 및 운전 편의에 초점이 맞추어지고 있다. 본 논문은 RFID를 이용하여 도로와 자동차간의 통신을 통한 교통상황 제공 및 대처 시스템에 대해 기술 한다. 본 논문에서 제안되는 시스템을 통해 운전자는 전방의 도로 상황을 미리 인지하고 대응함으로써, 운전자의 안전 주행을 도와준다.

국내 무선 인터넷의 사용자 증가는 유선 인터넷 사용자 증가 추세를 앞지른 지 오래며, 그 기반이 되는 무선 인터넷 지원 기기와 기간 시설에 대란 확충은 이동통신 업체의 주 사업영역이 되고 있다. 이와 동시에 국제적인 WAP 포럼에서 제정한 WML(Wireless Markup Language)을 사용하여 저작된 무선 컨텐츠의 양적, 질적 성장 또한 이뤄지고 있으며, 대형 무선 컨텐츠 제공업체들도 속속 등장하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 WML을 사용하여 대형 무선 컨텐츠률 저작할 때 요구되어지는 기능인 다수 개발자의 통시 저작 기능과 WML 문서내의 링크 관리 및 실시간 Push 서비스를 위한 스크립트 자동생성 등을 지원하는 WML 저작도구를 설계 및 구현하였다.

유비쿼터스 개념의 방송 및 통신 사업은 방송-컴퓨터-사물-사람 연계의 실현이 우선되어야 한다. 여기에 방송의 디지털 미디어 기술과 정보장치가 가정의 TV이든, 이동시의 휴대폰이든, PC나 노트북이든, 혹은 개인과 관련된 모든 사물이 통합 네트?p으로 연결 될 때 비로소 그 가치를 발휘하게 된다. 최적화된 유비쿼터스 방송 교육 운용 시스템이란 이러한 각종 미디어와 전자 감응 장치를 장착시킨 물건들을 u-컴퓨팅하여 개인과 특정 집단이 원하는 때와 장소에서 원하는 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 전자 유기체를 가리킨다. 이러한 통합 학습 유기체란 개개인의 능력은 물론 성격이나 욕망까지 컴퓨팅할 수 있는 전자지능시스템과 개인의 내적욕망을 채워주는 다양한 콘텐츠, 그리고 주변기기나 장치 등, 모든 디지털 교육환경까지를 의미한다. 변화란 인간의 욕구에 따라 커스터마이징하는 것이다. 그러한 점에서 급변하는 세상의 변화에 다양한 가치를 추구하고자 하는 교육에 대한 인간의 욕망을 실현하기 위해 개인화된 통합 방송 디지털 미디어, 유비쿼터스 홈 네트워킹과 기술, 그에 따른 다양한 교육 콘텐츠의 통합 개발은 이제 절실한 과제가 되고 있다.

지식관리시스템은 기관 및 회사들에서 자신들의 조직에 맞는 시스템으로 구축하여 기사용하고 있다. 조직별 지식관리시스템에서는 하나의 조직에서 발생할 수 있는 지식만을 축적하고 있다 최근 지식 고도화 및 혁신사업의 하나인 '지식관리'를 위해 다른 조직의 지식관리시스템과의 연계를 통한 지식 공유 및 기존 지식들에서 양질의 지식을 창출탈 수 있는 체계적 지식관리시스템 구축에 주안점을 두고 있다. 본 논문에서는 별도로 개발된 다수의 지식관리시스템 사이의 연계를 위한 통신 방식을 살펴보고, 시스템 구축의 편의를 도모할 수 있는 미들웨어인 CORBA와 Java Message Service (JMS)를 활용한 메시지 다중 전송 서비스 연계방식을 제안한다.
