Fast transmission speeds and various wired network services have been combined with the convenience and mobility of wireless services. The combination of wired/wireless technologies is spreading rapidly since it enables the creation of new services and provides new features to both users and service providers. In such wired/wireless integrated services, network integration is very important because such systems are integrated by a linkage between heterogeneous networks and they involve an integration of transmission technologies across networks. In this situation, existing security and communication technologies are unsuitable since the network are integrated with heterogeneous networks. The network may also have several security flaws. In existing homogeneous networks, user authentication and key management between heterogeneous networks are required for these new technologies. The establishment of security technologies for heterogeneous devices is a very important task between homogeneous networks. In this paper, we propose a secure and efficient key management system for a heterogeneous network environment. Our system provides secure communications between heterogeneous network devices.

JXTA does not need to be managed by the central server, and has the property that can communicate with any device that is connected to the network. Thus, JXTA can be applied to the communication between heterogeneous P2P systems. This paper deals with the design of a data exchange system utilizing the JXTA's foregoing property, which is able to connect P2P systems with different protocols and APIs.

High Level Architecture (HLA)는 이기종 시뮬레이터 간의 연동을 위한 미들웨어이다. 본 논문에서는 Discrete Event System Specification (DEVS) 형식론을 바탕으로 한 DEVS 모델의 시뮬레이션을 HLA 기반에서 수행하는 방법에 대하여 제시한다. DEVS 시뮬레이션 메시지를 HLA의 서비스를 사용하여 변환하여 기존의 시뮬레이션 알고리즘을 그대로 사용하여 분산 시뮬레이션 할 수 있는 방식에 대하여 기술한다. 또한 모델 사이의 연결 정보를 HLA 환경에서 이용하는 방식에 대하여 기술한다. 제안된 방식을 구현한 DEVSimHLA 시뮬레이션 환경의 구조 및 동작 방식에 대하여 알아보고 이를 이용한 간단한 예제를 보인다.

기업간 파트너쉽이 e-비즈니스 네트워크로 발전하면서 사용자에 대한 안전하고 효과적인 인증은 물론 인증된 사용자의 특정 서비스에 대한 접근권한의 관리요구가 크게 대두되고 있다. PKI 기반 기술로 사용자 인증, 데이터 기밀성 및 무결성 서비스는 가능하지만 사용자 및 자원에 대한 권한 관리는 별도의 기반기술이 요구된다. 웹 사이트들을 파트너 쉽으로 연결해주는 크로스 도메인간의 단일인증, 보호 대상 자원에 대한 접근제어, 파트너간의 상호연동성 및 이기종 연동 등의 요구사항을 만족시키기 위한 권한관리 기반기술이 필요하다. 본고에서는 PMI 표준, 접근제어, RBAC, SAML 및 XACML 기술에 대한 소개와 권한관리 시스템 구축 모델에 대하여 설명한다.

메타버스는 다수 사용자의 협업이 가능한 3 차원 가상현실 환경을 제공한다. 메타버스 공간에서의 현실과 연결된 혹은 현실이 모사된 실시간/비실시간 시뮬레이션은 비용-효율적인 이점을 가진다. 연동-시뮬레이션은 서브시스템들의 통합 시뮬레이션으로, 메타버스 공간에서의 연동-시뮬레이션을 위해 데이터-레벨, 시스템-레벨, 서비스레벨에서 기술 성능 검증 및 메타버스 윤리 검증이 필요하다. 개별 서브시스템이 윤리적으로 동작하는지 뿐만 아니라 연동된 시스템의 활용도 윤리적인가를 살펴보아야 한다. 알고리즘 및 시스템 정책이 반영되어 검증된 모델은 메타버스의 더 적은 위험성을 가지고 자동화된 디지털 사회 체계나 현실세계의 시스템에 적용되어 활용될 수 있다.

통신망의 통합은 현존하는 네트워크의 중요한 발전과정으로 인식되면서 가속화되고 있으며 대표적으로 WLAN와 WiBro 네트워크와의 연동에 관심이 집중되고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 이기종 망에 대한 연동방법 연구도 광범위하게 연구되고 있다. 이러한 궁극적인 망 통합을 이루어 낼 수 있는 단말 재구성을 지원하는 SDR기반 연동기법을 통해 실질적인 기지국 공용화를 완성할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 SDR 공용기지국 환경에서 밀결합 방식 연동망을 구성하여 단말의 속도를 고려한 WiBro와 WLAN 간의 효율적인 핸드오프 알고리즘을 제안하였다.
