This field study was conducted to survey the effect of seating ＆ lighting conditions on work. The results were as follows ; Discomfortable parts of body caused by unsuitable sitting postures on work were low back 52.05%, leg 15.75%, neck 14.38% and arm 9.59%. Work conditions of sitting postures were needed arm rest, back rest of seat and adjustable seat height. Effect of work efficiency by lighting conditions were statistically significant relationship between glaring state of workstation and lighting state.

본회가 주최한 제 124회 발명 교실이 지난 6월 11일 발명장려관 연구실에서 개최되었다. 매월 둘째 토요일 오후 1시 30분에 개최되는 발명교실은 이 달에도 1백여명이 참석하여 성황을 이루었다. 이날 발명교실에서는 새생각회 강신묵 회장의 발명의 발상기법에 대한 강의에 이어 미도물산 정헌운사장의 성공사례 발표가 있었다. 발명가의 성공사례를 간추려 소개한다.

Compared to the fields of Interior Design and Architecture, there have been very few research studies peformed to analyze the history of furniture design in Korea. If our Country wishes to become a participant in the world of global furniture design, it will be necessary to perform more offensive research in both the design of furniture, as well as a complete documentation of our Country's history of furniture design. This study aims to detail the method of chair design by analyzing two examples of chair design. The study, once complete, will be a reference for furniture designers as a practical method, and will become basic material for ongoing studies of the Programming for chair design.

본 논문에서는 모니터 상단의 일반 웹 카메라를 이용하여 사용자의 올바른 자세와 올바르지 않은 자세를 추정하고 사용자가 스스로 교정을 유도할 수 있는 새로운 개념의 어플리케이션을 소개한다. 교정의자나 허리 보호대 등의 도구가 없이 카메라 하나로 사용자가 자기 자세에 대한 인식을 할 수 있도록 제안하는 시스템이다. 정면 시점에서 바라보는 사용자의 자세는 얼굴과 어깨의 특징으로 판단하고, 초기화한 올바른 자세와 비교하여 사용자에게 경고 알림을 해주는 과정으로 진행된다. 주기적으로 자세를 확인하는 시스템을 통하여 사용자가 컴퓨터를 하는 자세에 대해 자각시킴으로써 올바른 자세를 가지도록 유도할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

선진국은 왜 선진국일까? 라는 질문에 우리는 흔히 경제력과 국력이라고 답변한다. 그러나 이것은 통상적인 개념이며 선진국이 될 수 있었던 진실한 과정을 알지 못하기 때문이다. 이는 선 진국이 있기까지 선진교육을 받은 선진국민이 있어 가능한 것이다. 이렇듯 선진국민을 위한 선진국가의 기초의 초석을 다지는 곳은 바로 국민을 양성하는 학교이다. 이렇듯 학교는 선진국민의 기본교육을 담당하는 중요한 기관으로 8세에서 19세까지 기본교육을 가르치고 있다. 기본교육을 받는 동안 학생의 모든 생활은 교실이라는 하나의 공간에서 이루어지는데, 이 때 책상과 의자와 같은 기초제품은 학생의 학습능력을 높여주는 동시에 학업성취력 향상에도 도움을 줄 수 있다. 이에 (주)에리트퍼니처는 그 동안 교구, 출입문, 책, 걸상을개발하였던 경험을 토대로 우수한 제품을 제작하여 많은 학교에 공급하고 있다.

This paper introduces experimental results of whole-body vibration exposed through the contact area between automotive seat and human body. Such vibration experiment was carried out for five automotive seats in use and four Korean individuals. Interestingly, the quantitative assessment of the ride values of the tested seats do not only enable us to judge the footnotes the Korean technology in automotive seat has left so far, but also lead to the systematic way of improving their ride quality, in addition in Korean automotive seats raised in this paper.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of combined exercise on body composition, funtional fitness and muscle protein synthesis related hormone in sarcopenic obesity elderly women. The subjects for the study were 20 obesity elderly women over 65 years old. They were divided into two groups, the sarcopenic obesity group(n=10) and non-sarcopenic obesity group(n=10). The variables of body composition and cardiovascular fitness were measured in all the subjects before and after 12-week combined exercise. The findings of this study were as follows; In the sarcopenic obesity elderly women (SG), % body fat significantly decreased in the SG group, FFM and ASM significantly increased. In the chair stand test and arm curl test, SG group significantly increased. SG group significantly changed in chair sit-and-reach test, back scratch test, 2-minute step test. In the muscle protein synthesis related hormone(growth hormone and IGF-1), SG group significantly increased.

This study aims to examine factors affecting small food service business performance, which is assumed to be dependent primarily on its outskirt's residents. In contrast to the prior research, this paper measures saveral location traits as a separate service business success factor without including the factor in management factors. The empirical results show that small food service's sales can be determined significantly by business career in entrepreneurs' background features. Secondly, its sales can't be influenced by any psychlogical factors such as a desire of achievement, a propensity of risk taking and locus of control. It is assumed that questions about psychological traits based by the prior research do not suit for small food entrepreneur. Thirdly, qualified product have a significant effect on its sales. Finally, its sales can be significantly impacted by the number of customer chair.

The objective of this research is to study on the upper layer temperature, interface height and flow regime in case of several furniture fires such as trashcan, chair, carpet, sofa, mattress and wardrobe as a fire starter in a residential room by performing the experimental studies. The upper layer temperature and the Interface height were relatively well agreed with the experimental results when the flow coefficient at the opening was 0.65-0.8 for the rectangular trashcan, 0.65-0.9 for the circular trashcan and chair, and 0.7-0.9 for the carpet, sofa, mattress and wardrobe. The interface heights for the seven furniture fires were around 1[m] maintaining steady state. However, at the time of the maximum temperature, the interface height was lowered to 0.25[m]-0.75[m] from the floor. The flow regime at the opening was filling and buoyant for the distributed fire, and for the concentrated fire it was filling and then quickly changed to flow, and the flow period was long. The descending speed of the interface height was proportioned to the inflammability of the furniture and the contact surface area with air. The time required to come down around 1[m] was within 1-3 minutes.
