편의점에서 감기약 등의 안전 상비 의약품 판매를 허용하는 약사법 개정안이 지난 5월 2일 국회를 통과해 올 11월 말부터는 전국 2만여 개의 24시간 편의점에서 상비약을 살 수 있게 됐다. 휴일과 야간에도 손쉽게 감기약과 소화제, 해열제 등을 구입할 수 있어 소비자 입장에선 한결 편리해진다. 이 시점에서 관심사가 되고 있는 게 자동판매기를 통해서도 판매가 가능한지 여부이다. 만약 자동판매기로도 유통이 될 수 있다면 새로운 영역이 열린다. 새로운 시장 발굴에 어려움을 겪는 산업계 입장에서 보면 호재가 아닐 수 없다. 과연 그 가능성은 얼마나 될까?

글로벌 시장환경체제에서 유통구조가 복잡해짐에 따라 제조사에서 유통업체 및 소비자까지 아우르는 전체 공급망에서 제품에 대한 이력추적관리는 투명한 유통구조를 형성시킬 뿐만 아니라 더 나아가 소비자들의 안전에 지대한 영향을 미친다. 세계보건기구(WHO)에 따르면 선진국에서 부정 전문의약품의 유통비중은 전체 의약품의 1% 정도이며 이를 미국에 적용할 경우(2006년 기준), 미국에서 유통된 34억 개 전문의약품 중 3,400만 개의 전문의약품이 가짜일 가능성이 있는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 이로 인해 미국 캘리포니아주에서는 유통망의 투명성과 소비자의 안전을 보고하기 위하여 2D 바코드나 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification)를 통해 의약품 제조에서 약국까지의 유통과정 계보를 추적할 수 있도록 제약기업에 2015년부터 제품에 시리얼번호를 부착한 이력장치(serialized e-pedigree)를 시행할 예정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 외적으로 물류/유통과정에서 제품의 위 변조를 예방하기 위한 e-pedigree에 현황 및 동태를 파악하고 국내 e-pedigree에 대한 방향성을 고찰하는데 그 목적이 있다.

식품의약품안전청은 '07-08년까지 전국 시장 등에서 유통되는 과일류 4,776건의 농약잔류량을 분석한 결과 9.81%인 4,767건에서 농약이 검출되지 않았거나 세척하지 않고 섭취해도 될 만큼 극미량만이 검출되었다고 밝혀 큰 반향을 일으켰다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of this factor on the macroeconomic variables for the healthcare industry market. First, the government bond interest rates and the exchange rate is the cause variable of drug industry index. Drug industry index is a mutual influence between the Call interest rate. Second, the medical equipment index haver mutual cause variable such as call rate index, government bond interest rates, and exchange rate. A current account balance variable is the cause variable of drug industry index. Third, the drug industry index has a negative relationship with a Call interest rate and an exchange rate. but it has a positive relationship with a government bond interest rates. the medical equipment index has a negative relationship with an exchange rate. but it has a positive relationship with a government bond interest rates.

As the quality of life has improved, the desire for the safety and quality of the foods and drugs has been gradually increasing. For safety and quality management in foods, drugs, health management, agriculture, environmental conservation, and the industrial fields, the demand for quickly and accurately measuring various chemicals has been increasing. As well, the desire for self-diagnosis of one's own health state and self-examining the safety of environment has been gradually increasing. Optical Isomers can have very different physiological effects on human beings. One isomer can exhibit desirable pharmacological, pharmacodynamic, pharmacokinetic and physiological properties, while the other isomer can exhibit undesirable and toxic properties toward living organisms, especially human beings. And they can exhibit different activities in chemical and biotechnological processes. Although the majority of commercially available drugs are now both synthetic and chiral materials, a most chiral drugs are still marketed as racemic drugs. Thus, to avoid possible undesirable side effects from chiral drugs, more effective methods for separating and recognizing chiral compounds are urgently needed. In this report, we investigated the overall developing trends of the chiral drug separation and analysis technology by using molecular recognition.

The use of drugs that reflect the experiences and achievements of modern science has given human being the benefits of treating diseases and improving health conditions. However, in addition to the benefits of those, medicines have inherently inevitable adverse reactions. Many countries are taking measures such as market entry regulations or post-marketing surveillance to minimize damage caused by drug side effects, but the occurrence of side effects cannot be eliminated. Although the damage is force majeure, in some cases, the doctor who prescribed the drug or the pharmacist who administered the drug may have to compensate for the damage. The liability depends on whether the side effects were known in advance, the type of medicine, etc. On the other hand, in some cases, drug manufacturer may have to take liability for the side effect itself. As it is not easy for victims to be compensated for damages in those cases, many countries, including Korea, are setting to protect victims through the Product Liability Act. Drugs are also one of the product, so liability set by the Product Liability Act may apply. Even before the enactment and enforcement of the Product Liability Act, damage caused by drug has occurred. To resolve them, precedents have developed case law, which have many similarities with the Product Liability Act, but also have differences. Damage caused by drug manufactured prior to the enforcement of the Product Liability Act may occur in the future. In this context, the legal principles of the case laws will remain valid and be applied. This is an important reason to review the case law of precedents.

최근 화장품 산업은 제약사들을 중심으로 기업들이 보유한 바이오 및 의약 기술을 접목하여 기능성 화장품 개발에 주목하고 있다. 화장품과 의약품의 경계가 무너지고 코스메슈티컬이 화장품 산업의 블루오션 시장으로 각광받고 있다. 특히 현대병으로 알려진 고질적 피부질환 아토피성 피부 인구가 늘면서 아토피 기능성 스킨케어 시장이 급부상하고 있다. 98년부터 시작된 아토피 관련 시장은 국내 약국 아토피성 화장품 시장 100억 원을 포함해 현재 700억원대로 급성장하고 있어 앞으로 확고한 수익 시장으로 자리잡을 것이라 전망되고 있다. 현 사회에서 심각한 문제로 인식되는 아토피 피부를 치료할 수 있는 다양한 화장품 제품들이 급증하고 있으므로, 본 기획에서는 아토피 화장품 시장의 현황, 동향 및 전망을 분석하여 살펴보고자 한다.

Recently, there is increasing interest in strengthening wholesaler functions and building cooperative relationships between wholesalers and small and medium pharmacy stores in medical supplies channel. Building cooperative relationships between wholesalers and small and medium pharmacy stores is a prior condition to normalize and modernize medical supplies channel. This study tries to understand relationship characteristics and examines the relationships between relationship characteristics and cooperation in medical supplies channel. Drawing from the previous studies, this article identifies relationalisrn, reward power, trust, and dependency as the relationship characteristics and empirically investigates their relationships. The study results confirm that relationship characteristics have significant effects on cooperation and satisfaction. Also cooperation influences satisfaction. Based on these study results, various plans to build cooperative relationships between wholesalers and small and medium pharmacy stores are suggested.

한국과학기술원 의과학연구센터는 세계 최초로 젖에서 고가의 의약품인 백혈구 증식인자(G-GSF)를 다량으로 생산할 수 있는 형질전환 흑염소 '메디'를 탄생시켜 관심을 모으고 있다. G-CSF의 값은 1g에 9억원이며 세계 시장 규모는 연간 1조7천억원이다. 그런데 새로 탄생시킨 형질전환 흑염소 한마리가 연간 생산할 수 있는 G-CSF의 양은 150g으로 10마리면 전세계 시장의 수요를 충족시킬수 있다는 계산이다.
