  • Comparing with an upper generation who have experienced a living with a extended family in a sudden aged tendency, the Parent & Children generation who haven't had a experience in it. So they have much different life styles each generation. It may cause many problems that many generation are living in a common residential space. Further more every generation gets their own characteristic of the life style. In addition, the middle & lower generations's understanding can be explained on their position about an Grand-parent generation's using. In this study, I am going to find out the problems in these situation in comparison with each generation's understanding dwelling environment among them, and then analyze what affection of 3-generation sharing preference standard is given by the differences each generation have with the above result. The standard of living with an Grand-parent generation ; Children generation or living separately through evaluating the Parent & Children generation's residence surroundings will be estimated and the standard of importance of sharing house will be analyzed. • This study investigates to investigate the ageing effect on household demand for clothing, food, housing and medical care commodities in Korea using a demand system model. The cross-sectional and time-series data from Statistics Korea on urban household expenditures and age projection analyzed household demands of consumption commodities. The household head age and elderly population ratio were employed for proxy variables of ageing. Ageing variable elasticities of commodity demands were estimated. Study results show that ageing variables significantly influenced on a household demand for commodities; clothing and food consumption decreases; however, housing and medical care consumption increases with ageing. The elasticities of total consumption expenditures and price variables were estimated in the demand analysis; these two variables significantly impacted almost all of the household consumption for the studied commodities. This study provides an opportunity to examine how ageing influences household consumption for clothing, food, housing and medical care commodities as Korean society experiences a rapid ageing. It is also meaningful that this study conducted a quantitative measuring of the household demands for commodities that was different from past research on the household consumption expenditures for commodities.

  • This study was conducted with objectives to assess consumption structure of the elderly households in Korea, focusing on the difference of consumption structure depending on the poverty status and family type. The results of this study show that the poor elderly households have primarily consumed the necessary goods for health care, food, clothing, and shelter. Especially, the poor single elderly living alone and married couples living independently(or alone) have been in the serious unbalanced consumption status. Based on the findings of the study, it is recommended that the support schemes to help the consumption of necessary goods should be introduced to improve their economic well-being. The support schemes to promote their social role as consumers should be also introduced.

  • It is a research study to look at the satisfaction of disabled persons are using a specific transportation system, and displays to see what effect the quality of life and the acceptance of disability. The survey of disabled persons in a moving vehicle assistance support Jeju vulnerable road users, using the final 81. Analysis, STS reason to use that vehicle wheelchair lift is the most common response, STS safety-related satisfaction was highest in the wheelchair. However, satisfaction of convenience associated with the use of the procedure was the lowest. The more stable satisfaction of STS is high, a positive impact on the quality of life(satisfaction and the food, clothing and housing)was confirmed. Therefore, in order to increase the satisfaction of STS and to improve the quality of life, it is necessary to improve the utilization procedures and safe operations and additional support of the wheelchair lift car to ensure rights of mobility.

  • For manned planetary exploration, human beings are developing technologies that can permanently reside on the planet, and the basic three elements of residence, such as clothing and shelter, are required to support essential technologies in construction. In order to develop infrastructure construction technology internationally, various materials and methods such as local cementation, sulfur and aluminum have been tried. in this study, a purpose is proposed a polymer concrete construction validation technology that appropriates the conditions required for manmade exploration in order to develop construction infrastructure material technology using polymer. Concrete specimens with a 10% weight ratio polymer prepared by heating on the bottom were stabilized after 2 hours of heating, and the strength was lower than the top heating method, but the solidifying speed was 2 times faster. These results are expected to be applicable not only to construction of lunar facilities for manned exploration but also to improve the construction of infrastructures such as roads and levees to prevent dust.

  • An apartment house and an officetel are already our most important residential space generally. Among food, clothing and shelter, an apartment and an officetel are in charge of a shelter as the most fundamental in our life. To live in an apartment and an officetel, it is necessory for residents to write a lot of informations about themselves. Therefore massive privacy files about apartment's residents is inevitable and it is managing in its own way. A privacy accident in an apartment houses would be a big society problem. This study examined 'tenant list' to find out what it collects and what it's problems are and proposed some vairous measures about the privacy improvements like items reduction & consent process improvement in an apartment house and an officetel from privacy laws perspective.

  • Due to the development of human civilization, industrialization and urbanization, the human race demanded the food, clothing and shelter as well as a comfortable living environment. For the purpose of this, the refrigeration and air conditioning part was carried out research and development. However, high oil prices and environmental pollution having problems in the 21st century cannot be overlooked. As an alternative, thermal system was designed using the heat pump to applied sea water heat source. In this paper, outside and sea temperatures are analysed in 2010 and carried out the performance analysis simulation at All water and All Air heat pump system by HYSYS program for domestic use. As a result, total average COP of the system is 3.37 from All Water system and All Air is 3.48. It showed that high performance confirmed in both system.

  • As life gets richer along with social development, the interest in composure of life and in quality of life gets higher. According to this, a concept on bathroom, which had been simply physiological sanitary space before, is being gradually changed, thereby being reborn as space of charging vitality of life and of realizing own desire. As these consumers' new desire is emerged, it is being highlighted the behavior of being made in space now called 'bathroom', the requirements for this space, and the interest in what aims to be pursued. However, current Korean people have different bathroom behavior such as using outside bathtub or filling a washbasin with water unlike the center on stand-up shower in the West, thereby having inconvenience. Accordingly, when bathroom is designed that reflects Korean people's bathroom behavior, the satisfaction with using bathroom will be able to be enhanced. This study aims to increase the use satisfaction with bathroom space, to survey Korean people's situations of using bathroom, the inconvenience in using, and the general emotion, and to elicit requirements for bathroom users and basic design guidelines available for reflecting the health in planning bathroom space, the space of solving sanitary problem, and the modern people's physical features and lifestyle.

  • This study was aimed at inquiring into the role characteristics of a early childhood teacher, who can put an act of tending & examining into practice, and organizing a role by analyzing the concrete reality based on the relationship with a early childhood teacher's role in Korea and Japan. As a result, this study could take a look at the characteristics, such as relation with conversation, relation through sensation and body, relation with familiarity, and relation by living through the cases in Korea. As for the cases in Japan, there appear the characteristics, such as relation through natural things, relation as an equal participant, relation with bodily movement, and relation with daily life. Based on the result of the analysis, this study organized a early childhood teacher's role as relationship through object-oriented language, relationship based on sensation, relationship based on fellowship, and ecological relationship.

  • Present work aims to analyse the spatio-temporal distribution of Korean bamboos. The northern limit of Korean bamboo species occurs at Baekryung Island(124°10'E, 37°55'N), Hoochang(41°22'N) and Myungchon(129°41\`E, 41°10'N). The presence of bamboo fossils in Korea dates back from Tertiary, but widespread use of bamboos can be noticed since 1454. Reconstructed ranges and temporal changes of bamboo, based upon the eight historical records from 15th to 20th centuries, indicates that both climatic and anthropogenic factors were responsible for the changes of distributional range. The spread of bamboos was balanced by its disappearance due to regional development, and the total bamboo area showing little change. Due to the tendency to spread extensively by means of underground stems, bamboos often invade adjacent forests and disturb natural vegetation. Proper management and conservation strategies, therefore, are required for the maintenance of rural landscape.
