The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of directors' leadership style and the type of decision-making on improving child care teachers' job satisfaction which is essential to operate high-quality nursing. The survey method was used for 184 child care teachers who work for child care centers. The collected data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance and posteriori test to find out the differences in teachers' job satisfaction according to their recognition of directors' leadership and decision-making. The result showed that differences exist in child care teachers' job satisfaction according to the leadership and decision-making of directors as recognized by the teachers. The score of child care teachers' self-development, work, welfare & social stability related to job satisfaction hit the highest when directors' leadership type was efficiency-centered. Similarly, participatory decision-making type, which is the most ideal type, scored the highest in all sub-components of job satisfaction in the case of directors' type of decision-making. This implies that the directors who prefer positive leadership and democratic participatory decision-making type increase teachers' job satisfaction which will positively affect the child care centers' qualitative development.

The aim of this study was to explore relations among the decision making style, self leadership and communication competence of visiting nurses. The research design was a descriptive survey study, and 219 people were selected through convenience sampling among the visiting nurses who worked in the 28 community based health care centers. The most frequent decision making style of visiting nurses was a rational style. The scores of self leadership and communication competence of visiting nurses were also showed the highest score when the visiting nurse had a rational decision making style. The statistical significant correlations were found among the decision making style, self leadership and communication competence. The results of this study were useful to develop jop-training programs for visiting nurses to enhance their problem-solving abilities. We suggest more various education programs to increase the visiting nurse's self leadership and communication competence will be implemented and refined protocols according to situations will be developed, too.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among the parent-adolescent communication styles, self-esteem, depression and career decision-making styles. The subjects were 399 middle school students and 366 high school students in four middle schools and two high schools in metropolitan and small towns for one month from July 1, 2017. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis. Multiple regression was used to see how parent-adolescent communication styles, self esteem, and depression affect the career decision-making style. As a result, first, open communication with mothers has a statistically significant effect on the rational career decision-making style and open communication with fathers has a statistically significant effect on the intuitive career decision-making style of adolescents. Second, self-esteem of adolescents showed a positive correlation with rational career decision-making style and negative correlation with dependent career decision-making style, and depression showed a positive correlation with dependent career decision-making style. The results may help to understand the relationship among the parent-adolescent communication styles, self-esteem, depression and career decision-making styles and be used for counseling intervention.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze types of shared medical decision making by health professionals in a decision making position. Methods: The Q-methodology was used. Q sample was constructed with a total of 35 Q-statements that were offered with a 9-point rating scale. The statements were structured to generate answers that would form a shape of a normal distribution. Answers to Q sample were analyzed using a QUANL PC program. Results: Four types of shared medical decision making were identified. Type I is patient-centered decision making, Type II is physician-centered, Type III is health professional-centered and Type IV is patient-family-centered. Conclusion: Study results indicate that it is recommended to develop an education program based on the four types of shared medical decision making so that health professionals can be provided with different approaches according to their decision making style.

The purpose of this study is to identify career decision-making types of college students majoring in beauty, and to improve career preparation behaviors by analyzing their effects on career preparation behaviors and major satisfaction. It was conducted from November 1 to 30, 2021, and a total of 485 questionnaires were used as analysis data. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed as research methods. As a result of the study, first, the type of career decision-making showed a positive (+) correlation between career preparation behavior and major satisfaction, indicating that it was statistically significant. Second, rational career decision-making style was correlated with dependence and intuitive style. As the career preparation behavior, the career preparation behavior of time effort, ability activity, and information collection, and the satisfaction of the major showed a statistically significant positive (+) correlation in class satisfaction and subject satisfaction. Third, among career decision-making types, rational and dependent types were found to have a statistically significant effect on ability activity, which is a sub-factor of career preparation behavior.

This study aims to demonstrate what effect of parental Rearing Attitudes and communication on adolescents' Career Decision-making Styles to present mothers' desirable parental Rearing Attitudes and fathers' communication types for reasonable Career Decision-making. As a result, when adolescents perceived mothers' parental Rearing Attitudes negatively, they tended to make dependent decisions. Fathers' open communication had a statistically significant effect on adolescents' reasonable decision while their trouble-type communication had a statistically significant effect on adolescents' dependent decision.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in university student's career maturity according to general characteristics(for example, gender, grade, and SES) and undergraduate student's career decision-making styles. A scale measuring the career decision-making styles(Harren, 1984) and career maturity(Crites, 1978) was administered to 223 university students around the capital city. The data were analyzed using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ tests, means, standard deviations, One-way MANOVAs, and Multiple Discriminant Analyses. The results of this study were as follows: 1. There was not significant difference by gender in career maturity. But there were significant differences by grade and SES in career maturity. Freshmen and Senior exhibited higher career decision-making attitude than sophomores and juniors. High-SES group showed higher career decision-making attitude and lower career independence. 2. There were significant differences by career decision-making styles in career maturity. 51.1% of our samples were rational decision-making styles, 30.0% of our samples were intuitive decision-making styles, and 18.8% of our samples were dependent decision-making styles. Undergraduate students with rational decision-making styles showed more positive career choice behavior and higher career independence than undergraduate students dependent decision-making styles.

Consumers of web novels read online reviews in order to decrease uncertainty when purchasing a web novel. This study examines the types of messages (factual or evaluative) that consumers find more useful and verifies the moderating effect of individual analytical decision-making style levels on differences in usefulness evaluation. Based on the tendency to acquire objective information, the usefulness of factual online reviews was expected to be higher in the context of buying experience goods, such as a web novel. Levels of analytical decision-making styles, which were classified based on individual perception, are also expected to affect the usefulness evaluation of reviews. Experiments 1 and 2 were repeatedly conducted to examine whether consumers think factual reviews are more useful than evaluative reviews. In particular, Experiment 2 was conducted to simulate the circumstance of selecting a romance web novel and demonstrated that reviews have a significant effect on messages and decision-making styles. The interaction effect between analytical decision-making style levels and review message types was also confirmed in Experiment 2. The results of this study can help researchers and marketers comprehend the behavioral patterns of web novel readers when evaluating reviews and consuming experience goods.

This paper searches for programs for creating increased employment in local society in important occupation sectors such as education and training services, insurance and social welfare services, culture and arts, housing and environmental service fields. As part of an improvement plan, while strengthening investment in education training infrastructure for the suppliers of social services, cooperation and coordination by the public and private sectors is necessary. Also necessary are identifying model social enterprises that are based upon joint efforts for success of social enterprises and publicity efforts necessary.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of career decision making type, career self regulation, self leadership on career adaptability of nursing student. Subjects were 215 nursing students at a university in Chungchung-Namdo. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that Career Adaptability had significant positive correlations with self regulation, self leadership, rational decision making type, intuitive decision making type. These variables explained 62.7% of the variance on nursing students career adaptability. Development and provision of intervention programs to increase self leadership, career self regulation and rational decision making type will help to increase nursing students's career adaptability.
