A Study on the Visual Evaluation about Combination of Contrary Clothing Image (상반되는 의복이미지의 조합에 따른 시각적 평가에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of visual evaluation about combination of contrary clothing image, Elegance-Casual, Ethnic-Modern. The data were collected using 23 semantic differential hi-polar scale questionnaires from 50 female students majoring in clothing and textile and analyzed by Factor analysis, ANOVA, Discriminant analysis and MDS. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. As a result of factor analysis, 4 factors -Attractiveness, Casualness, Moderateness, Modernness-were found out as constructing factors of contrary clothing image. 2. For the visual evaluation of contrary clothing image combined with top and bottom, there were significant differences in all factors. 3. As a result of discriminant analysis, discrimination among images was more closely related to renovated image by combination of contrary clothing image. 4. As a result of MDS, evaluative dimensions of contrary clothing image were identified, and relationship between clothing images and special qualities of design was shown on positioning map.

  • Scarf has played an important role not only as keeping warm of human body but also as accessory of clothes. These days with taking a growing interest of accessory, scarf had thrown off a subsidiary part and gradually had a leading place which guides the overall mode of fashion. Because scarf design of Korea does not get out of imitation step of foreign countries brands it is necessary to develop the scarf design which can show the cultural identity and originality of Korea in international society. Therefore in this study, I chose lotus flower patterns expressed on Buncheon pottery and Korean traditional patchwork cloth as the subject material of scarves design development, and my intention for this study is to develop scarves designs of Korean images by adding modern scenes. For that, first I researched lotus flower patterns expressed on Buncheon pottery and Korean traditional patchwork cloth. Among those materials, I selected to had been presented modern image. And by using computer design program of adobe illustrator 10.0 I designed the basic patterns of three types and developed the square scarves design and rectangle scarves design with those.

  • Clothes enhance visual images through the interaction between space and background of the wearer. The influence of background is important as that of the clothes when the observer understands the images. We look at fashion pictures used as important as that various backgrounds are presented depending on the image of the clothes. The clothing the model wears in the pictures takes on shape and space which supports the clothes. The background interact to from the whole image. The background has an important influence on the delivery of image for the clothes. However when the clothes are presented in the background there are some cases that all or parts of clothes can be shown. We must consider the composition ratio of the clothes and background which influences the whole image of the clothing. These interactions and influences on the whole image in regards to clothing background and the ratio will be the focus of this study. clothing was Modern Mannish Casual, Feminine, Ground was decided artificial setting 1 natural setting 1, indoor setting 1, artificial setting 2, natural setting 2, indoor setting 2, Percentage of Clothing was 80% , 140%, 200%,. Thus visual stimulus were 72 pictures that were combined Clothing Ground and Percentage of Clothing, the main survey of questionary consisted of their evaluation of the Picture image combined Clothing and Ground by 30 semantic differential bi-polar scales and the subjects were 50 students majoring in clothing and textile. The data analyzed by factor analysis MCA, MDS, The major finding were as follows : 1) As a result of factor analysis, 5 factors -Attractiveness Hardness and softness Cuteness Attention Cool and Warm factor were found out as constructing factors the Picture image combined Clothing and Ground 2) According to multidimensional positioning map were presented in a stimulus position the perceptive image differed in degree of similarity as a ground construction of stimulus in spite of same clothing image. It will aid in choosing the most beneficial background for any clothing brand. It will enhance the picture images to their full potential in any advertising medium.

Thermal Properties on combination of Velvet and Lining (벨벳과 안감의 소재 조합에 따른 의복의 열저항에 관한 연구)

  • This study was performed for purpose of getting fundamental information requisite to wear velvet clothes that is more comfortable for the human body and also the environment. It was carried out in a human wearing test and thermal manikin test at the same time in a controlled-condition chamber. The experimental environment had a ambient temperature of 15$\pm$0.5$^{\circ}C$ with the relative humidity at 5$^{\circ}C$$\pm$5% and with air velocity at less that than 0.2m/sec. Velvet differ from common plain weaves in thermal properties because it's constructed in two parts one is ground part and the other part is pile part. In order to investigate the thermal resistance of velvet eight different combination of 4 velvet kinds and 2 lings kinds as experimental clothes. [(4 velvet kinds : Acetate cuprammoium Rayon Cotton Wool) (2 lining kinds : acetate viscose rayon)longrightarrow8 combination: Aa, Av, Ra, Rv, Ca, Cv, Wa, Wv: the simplified character] The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. For the regional thermal resistance the differences in eight clothes as well as differences in each part were significant. As a whole the breast part showed the highest thermal resistance and the leg part was higher than the shank part. The rank of the total thermal resistance was put at Wa>Wv>Ca>Cv>Aa>Av>Ra>Rv in this order. 2. Considered clothing microclimate microclimate temperature has a similar tendency to the total thermal resistance. It showed a significance in the differences of eight clothes and each parts. the belly part was highest in every combination. On the other hand for clothing humidity there was a significance between back and breast part only in the human wearing test. 3. It was indicated that CLO value was highly positively correlated with the clothings' weight and showed a high negative correlation with the air permeability.

  • Reconfigurable beam steering using microstrippatch antenna with U-slot is proposed for wearable fabric applications. The proposed antenna is manufactured on a fabric substrate, and designed to steer the beam directions at the operation frequency of 6.0 GHz. The U-shaped slot and the indirect feeding-techniques are utilized in designing the proposed antenna. By the configuration of two artificial switches($S_0$, $S_1$, $S_2$) in between the indirect feed and the antenna patch, the antenna has three beam directions. The maximum beam directions are steerable in the yz-plane(${\theta}=0^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $331^{\circ}$), and the overall HPBW is $115^{\circ}$. The measured peak gains are 6.11~6.69 dBi.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of the visual evaluation for the Picture image combination of Clothing and Ground. The major finding were as follows ; 1) For the visual evaluation of the Picture image as Clothing variation there were significant differences in all factors 2) For the visual evaluation of the Picture image as Ground variation there were significant differences in Attractiveness Hardness and softness Cuteness Attention Cool and Warm factor 3) For the visual evaluation of the Picture image as Percentage of Clothing there were significant differences in Attractiveness cool and Warm factor. Mdern and strong images formed charming urban and cool visual images with urban and neat artificial backgrounds. Mature images were created with romantic and static artificial backgrounds. Mannish straight and conservative images created charming and rigid visual images in urban and formatted artificial background. Using a white natural background for the urban style created a cool visual image. The use of an interior background lead to warmer images and more defination lines Causal images created a rural and warm image which expressed charm and a soft visual while using a rural and natural background. A most unharmonious and hard image was created when using an urban and formatted artificial background. The coolest visual image was created with a cool and natural background. Feminine and flawless images created urban and neat visual image using an urban and formatted artificial background. 동축형 분사기 분무특성 및 연소의 이론적 모델

  • 일반적인 액체추진제 로켓엔진의 연소는 분사제트의 미립화, 액적의 증발, 기상 추진제의 혼합, 화학반응 등, 일련의 물리적 과정들로 이루어지고, 여기서 특성속도 효율은 크게 분사특성 및 연소의 두 단계에서 결정되게 된다. 액체추진제 로켓엔진에 사용되는 여러 분무형태 중, 동축형 분사기에서는 액상과 기상 제트의 운동량 차에 의해 미립화가 이루어지며, 분무 액적들의 전개와 더불어 분사기 출구를 포함한 전 영역에서 연소가 발생되므로 매우 복잡한 물리적 특성들을 포함하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 기상 연료-액상 산화제의 동축형 분무연소를 JANNAF의 방법을 사용하여 수식화 하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 분무특성과 연소성능 예측을 위한 프로그램을 작성, 분사조건에 의한 분무특성과 그에 따른 연소성능을 계산하였다. 연속, 운동량, 에너지 및 혼합비 방정식의 지배방정식들을 바탕으로 기상 유동을 수식화 하였으며, 별도로 액적의 소산 및 연소과정을 모사하기 위한 별도의 수식들이 추가되었고, 이 식들을 결합하여 액적의 크기, 분포를 포함하는 액체 제트의 미립화 정도를 공간적으로 계산하였다. 미립화 모델의 검증을 위하여 계산 결과를 Reitz의 실험과 Giridharan의 모델 등과 비교하였으며 잘 일치하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 동축형 분사기에서의 분무 특성을 예측하기 위해 액체 산소, 기체 수소를 추진제 조합으로 하는 동축형 분무 연소장에서의 제트 길이, 액적의 크기, 액체 제트의 속도를 계산하였다. 계산 결과 액체 제트의 접촉길이는 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 웨버수가 증가되므로 짧아지는 것으로 관찰되었으며 액적의 크기도 분사공의 지름이 증가할수록 작아지는 경향을 나타내었다. 액체 제트의 속도는 처음에는 일정하게 유지되다가 운동량을 보존하기 위해 가스로부터 운동량을 받아 점차 가속되어지는 것으로 나타났다.본 규격은 키, 총장, 어깨길이, 등길이, 머리길이, 머리둘레, 진동둘레, 목둘레, 가슴둘레, 허리둘레, 배둘레, 엉덩이둘레, 앞품, 뒤품, drop치를 포함하고 있고, 각 규격에서 호칭간 치수 간격도 함께 제시하고 있다. 본 연구 결과에서 보듯, 현행 8규격의 무진복의 각 호칭간 적정 허용범위를 고려해 합리적인 치수체계를 정립한다면 치수에 대한 적합도가 상당히 증가할 뿐 아니라 생산비용도 상당히 감축할 것으로 생각된다.나타났다. 4) 호감적 서비스능력 차원에서 세 독립변수간에 유의한 3원 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타나( $F_{2,228}$=15.62, P<.001) 20대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=3.98, P<.05)와 60대에 적합한 의복 착용시( $F_{2,228}$=16.55, P<.001) 점포유형과 격식차림간에는 유의한 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 5) 호감을 구성하는 세 요인들이 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 호감적 인상차원은 29%(P<.001), 호감적 서비스능력차원은 6%(P<.001)의 구매의도를 설명해 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 노년 소비자에게 호감을 주는 판매원의 외모는 구매의도에 영향을 주어 실버의류산업의 이익증대와 밀접한 연관을 갖는 서비스품질의 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.로운 단백질 EPSPS가 다른 여러 식물에 이미 존재하고 있는 단백질로서 우리가 이미 이러한 식품을 섭취할 때 이 단백질도 같이 섭취해오고 있었다는 점, 둘째. 이 단백질이 소화액 분해 실험에서 짧은 시간내에 분해가 되었다는 점, 셋째. 재조합 된 콩과 자연 콩이 성분 분석에서 차이를 나타내지 않았다는 점, 네 번째. 쥐를 통한 다양섭취 실험에서 아무런 이상 반응이 없었

Development of Clothing Size and Grading Increments Chart for Women in Middle Age (중년 여성 의복용 치수조합 및 그레이딩 편차설정에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the size and grading increments chart for the middle-aged obese women compared with normal women in middle age. Seven hundred and thirty three women's data from the 4th National Korean Size Survey for Standardization (1997) were analyzed. It was found that size increment of bust and hip girth of obese women was different from that of ordinary middle-aged women. The rate of coverage for a certain set of size specification and the grading increment value for the clothing of Korean obese women in middle aged group were also suggested. The relative percentage value of grading rule based on the change in bust girth increment of Korean obese women was quite different from that of American women. In conclusion, it was noted that the characteristics of the body size specification of obese women was quite different from those of the corresponding age group, so that the separated size specification and grading rule are needed to be used in the manufacturing process of obese women's clothing.

  • The study explores the growing interest in up-cycling within the fashion industry, driven by concerns over environmental degradation caused by mass production and fast fashion. Emphasizing the ethical dimension, the research focuses on recombination processes. Departing from traditional up-cycling concepts, the study introduces new expression methods by altering the position, function, and role of clothes. The target audience is women in their 20s and 30s, with the designs incorporating various materials and re-purposing frequently discarded items like jackets, suits, jeans, and bags. The goal is to offer diverse expressions of uphigh-dimensional clothing designs using waste material dismantling and recycled clothing while addressing environmental responsibility in fashion design.

  • This paper is related to a new technology allowing a user to have a 360 degree viewpoint of the virtual wearing object, and to an object VR(Virtual Reality)-based 2D virtual textile wearing system using viewpoint vector estimation and textile texture mapping. The proposed system is characterized as capable of virtually wearing a new textile pattern selected by the user to the clothing shape section segmented from multiview 2D images of clothes model for object VR, and three-dimensionally viewing its virtual wearing appearance at a 360 degree viewpoint of the object. Regardless of color or intensity of model clothes, the proposed system is possible to virtually change the textile pattern with holding the illumination and shading properties of the selected clothing shape section, and also to quickly and easily simulate, compare, and select multiple textile pattern combinations for individual styles or entire outfits. The proposed system can provide higher practicality and easy-to-use interface, as it makes real-time processing possible in various digital environment, and creates comparatively natural and realistic virtual wearing styles, and also makes semi -automatic processing possible to reduce the manual works to a minimum. According to the proposed system, it can motivate the creative activity of the designers with simulation results on the effect of textile pattern design on the appearance of clothes without manufacturing physical clothes and, as it can help the purchasers for decision-making with them, promote B2B or B2C e-commerce.
