As a preliminary work for the interrelations between individuals' learning style and their consumer decision-making styles in purchasing apparel, its theoretical backgrounds were reviewed. Several major approaches to measuring and characterizing learning styles were theories of Hunt, Schroder, Kolb, and sproles. - Relevant literature suggests several consumer decision-making styles including Morchis' and Sproles'. Researches on the practical' implication of theoretical learning styles model in the area of consumer decision-making styles were also explored.

This study was performed to investigate the dimensions of clothing attitudes and to study differences of the dimensions according to the demographic variables. The subjects selected for final analysis were 595 adults ranging from 20's to 50's in age. The clothing attitudes were classified into nine dimensions: fashionability, clothing involvement, clothing conformity, modesty, status symbolism, comfort, manageability, individuality and economy. And the dimensions were significantly different according to monthly expenditure on clothing, sex and educational level.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the types of apparel usage situations percieved by female consumers. Data (N=132) were collected via a questionnaire developed on the focused stoup interviews and previous studies. By multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis, two dimensions of perceptual criteria on apparel usage situations are identified: formality, and normative aspects of apparel style. Results indicate that apparel usage situations perceived by female consumers can be classified into four major types: (1) Formal-Normative Situations, (2) Informal-Normative Situations, (3) Informal-Normless Situations, and (4) Formal-Normless Situations.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the job satisfaction of fashion information providers. This study was performed by interview with 14 fashion information providers from April to May 2007. There were three categories on factors influencing fashion information providers' recognitions of job satisfaction (workplace atmosphere, job description, and personal characteristics).

Dyeing properties of silk fabric with onion shell were studied by investigating the effect of dyeing conditions, such as concentration of onion shell, dyeing temperature, dyeing time and pH, on dye uptakes. And also the effects of mordants and mordanting methods or color change and dye uptakes were investigated. For the practical use, the various color fastness of dyed and mordanted fabric were evaluated. The color fastness was improved when Fe mordant was added.

특정 양식은 일반적으로 명확한 조형적 특질을 제시한다. 역사적으로 볼 때 이러한 양식적 특성의 변화 과정에 따라 대부분 시기가 구분되어진 것을 알 수 있다. 그러나 기계에 의한 생산 체제에 적합한 형태의 탐색이 요구되던 20세기 초기에 나타난 수많은 양식 중의 하나인 아르데코 양식에 따른 복식스타일은 의류학 전공자들에게조차도 혼란을 일으키는 경우가 있다. 그 이유는 첫째, 시기가 너무 폭넓게 분포되어 있어 그 기간동안 몇 차례에 걸쳐 전혀 다른 복식스타일이 태동하기 때문이다. (중략)

In previous paper, the optical behavior of coloring matter of Cromwell under several conditions were investigated. In this paper, the fading behavior of color solution extracted from Growell by methanol, dyeing properties of this color on the silk fibers in water and methanol, the three property of color of dyed silk fabrics, and fading behavior of dyed silk fabrics with Cromwell color under light and washing were discussed.

Microemulsion을 형성하기 위해서는 일반적으로 주계면활성제와 함께 보조계면황성제가 첨가 된다. 그러나 보조계면활성제는 이론적으로 반드시 필요한 것은 아니며, 주계면활성제의 친유기 구조를 적절히 변화시킴으로써 보조계면황성제의 필요량을 감소시킬 수 있다. Microemulsion계 를 형성하기 위한 최적의 계면황성제구조를 찾기 위하여 twin tail형 계면활성제인 dialkylbenzene과 dialkylphenol친유기를 갖는 계면황성제를 연구하였다. p-dihexylbenzene sodium sulfonate는 보조계면활성제 없이 microemulsion을 형성하였지만, dialkylphenol sodium sulfates는 젤이나 액정등을 제거하기 위하여 보조계면활성제를 필요로 하였다.

The changes of surface activities in the aquaous solutions of mixed surfactants composed of linear sodium dodecylbenznesulfoate (LAS), polyoxyethylene nonyl phenylether (PE, EO=10) and polyethylene glycol monolauryl ether (LE, EO=25) have been studied. Addition of nonionic surfactants to LAS reduces the surface tension, especially at the lower concentration than cmc. The interfacial tension of olive oil/LAS was lower than the other surfactant solutions. The removal of triolein from cotton fabrics by nonionic surfactants and mixtures is higher than by LAS. The addition of NaCI to surfactant solutions even though reduces surface tension smaller but enthances oil removal more than that of $CaCl_2$.
