  • 초해상도 영상복원은 동일 지역에서 획득한 다수의 영상을 통해 고해상도의 영상으로 복원하는 영상처리 알고리즘 기법이다. 이 기법은 비디오 영상, 위성 영상, 의료 영상과 같이 동일지역에 대한 다수의 저해상도 영상을 획득 할 수 있는 분야에 적용이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 세계최초의 정지궤도 해양위성인 GOCI 센서의 육상 활용도를 높이기 위한 초해상도 기법 개발을 위해 MODIS 영상을 활용한 시뮬레이션을 수행하여, GOCI 센서를 위한 효율적인 초해상도 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • TMost of the medical images that are being used today are to confirm the existence of lesions. These kind of medical images can not only be used to confirm lesions but if we could use it for academic studies or for analysis and reference materials for surgical operations, it could offer great help in medical studies. Furthermore, we could reduce the number of errors in treatment through simulations in the surgical operations and treatments. In this paper, the necessary parts regarding the medical image visuals were extracted through the point cloud and by using the information obtained through it, it manufactures the necessary information for academic studies, diagnoses or operations. By designing and realizing the system which makes simulation possible with the manufactured information, the paper attempts to provide a more effective way to approach academic studies or giving appropriate diagnoses in the treatment of patients.

  • 컴퓨터 그래픽스 및 관련 연구 분야는 지난 30년간 눈부신 발전을 거듭해왔다. 모델링, 렌더링, 애니메이션 등 시각적 표현력을 확보하는 것을 목표로 출발한 컴퓨터 그래픽스 연구는 점차 그 범위를 확대해서 영상처리, 자연현상 시뮬레이션, 가상현실, 의료 영상, 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용, 실시간 시뮬레이션, 영화 특수 효과 등 다양한 연구 및 응용분야를 파생 시키며 점차 복잡한 지형도를 그려가고 있다. 이 글은 전체 2편의 연속 논문 중에서 2부에 해당하며, 컴퓨터 그래픽스의 응용 분야 중에서 국내 연구가 활발한 옷 시뮬레이션, 비사실적 렌더링, 음향 시뮬레이션, 가상현실, 증강현실의 최근 연구 동향을 분석하고 정리한다.

대기압 유전격벽방전의 구동주파수 변화에 따른 전자가열 양상 변환에 대한 시뮬레이션 연구

  • 현재 의료 및 표면처리 분야에 많이 이용되고 있는 상온 대기압 플라즈마 중에서 유전체 격벽 방전(DBD) 장치는 비교적 간단한 구조를 가지며 sub-millimeters 사이즈에서도 매우 높은 플라즈마 밀도의 발생 및 유지가 가능하다. 그러나, 현재로선 이러한 Micro DBD의 특성을 실험적으로 분석하는 것은 장비의 한계가 있으므로, Particle-In-Cell 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 중요 플라즈마 변수들을 관찰하였다. 여기서 사용된 중요변수로는 13.56 MHz~600 MHz사이의 인가 주파수를 두었으며, 유전체 표면에서 양이온에 대한 이차전자 방출계수를 고려하였다, 또한 중성기체는 헬륨가스와 아르곤가스의 2가지 중성기체인 경우를 살펴보았다. 이러한 시뮬레이션을 통해 인가전압의 주기 대비 Ion transit time의 비율이 달라짐에 따라 플라즈마 쉬스의 특성변화와 함께 전자 에너지 확률함수(EEPF)의 특성이 달라진다는 것을 확인하고, 이러한 전자 가열 양상의 변화 원리에 대해서 분석하였다. 또한 주파수 비율 조정을 통한 전자온도, 파워, 효율 등을 조절하는 방법의 공학적 가치에 대해 의견을 제시하였다.

  • 일반적으로 저온 대기압 플라즈마는 표면개질이나 의료도구, 식수등 살균장치에 많이 이용되고 있으며 현재에는 혈액응고, 치아 치료등의 바이오분야에도 활발한 연구가 진행되어지고 있다. 그러나 저온 대기압 플라즈마는 가스 유량, 전극간격, 물질, 모양에 따라 인가되어지는 전자기장이 특성이 상이하다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 저온 대기압 플라즈마 젯(jet) 소스에서 전극의 간격에 따른 전자기장의 세기를 계산하였고, 전극의 거리별 저온 대기압 플라즈마 젯(jet) 소스에서 인가되는 전압과 비교를 해보았다. 그 결과 시뮬레이션 값과 실험결과가 유사한 경향을 보이는 것을 본 연구에서 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Surgery equipment in operating room is very important at treatment procedure of patients. In this circuit of large equipment, a sudden change of current make big problem such as short circuit. when the current is converted suddenly, the current converter becomes in saturate and it caused by the induction curve of the inductor. in this case, the rates of the primary and secondary winding are broken and it becomes a open circuit. in this paper, we will look around the current transform of the primary and secondary winding when current converter becomes in saturate.

Evaluation of Effective Dose with National Diagnostic Reference Level using Monte-Carlo Simulation (몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 이용한 국내 일반엑스선검사 진단참고수준의 유효선량 평가)

  • In this study, the effective dose for frequently general radiography among the diagnostic reference level (DRL) for examinations provided by the government in Korea was evaluated using the Monte Carlo N-Particle eXtended (MCNPX) simulation tool. We were selected to evaluate for a total of 5 examination sites which included head anterior-posterior, chest (posterior-anterior, lateral), abdomen anterior-posterior and pelvis anterior-posterior. Physical conditions such as tube voltage and tube current used in MCNPX simulation were used in domestic conditions of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA). To evaluate domestic medical radiation exposure, we used the HDRK-Man computerized human phantom manufactured based on the international standard ICRP 103 that was applied to the MCNPX simulation. The phantom could represent the standard body shape of Koreans. As a results, the effective dose corresponding to the DRL based on adult males of head anterior-posterior position was 0.086 mSv, chest posterior-anterior position was 0.05 mSv, chest lateral was 0.354 mSv, abdomen anterior-posterior position was 0.548 mSv, and pelvis anterior-posterior position was 0.451 mSv.

Simulation and Experimental Studies of Super Resolution Convolutional Neural Network Algorithm in Ultrasound Image (초음파 영상에서의 초고분해능 합성곱 신경망 알고리즘의 시뮬레이션 및 실험 연구)

  • Ultrasound is widely used in the medical field for non-destructive and non-invasive disease diagnosis. In order to improve the disease diagnosis accuracy of diagnostic medical images, improving spatial resolution is a very important factor. In this study, we aim to model the super resolution convolutional neural network (SRCNN) algorithm in ultrasound images and analyze its applicability in the medical diagnostic field. The study was conducted as an experimental study using Field II simulation and open source clinical liver hemangioma ultrasound imaging. The proposed SRCNN algorithm was modeled so that end-to-end learning can be applied from low resolution (LR) to high resolution. As a result of the simulation, we confirmed that the full width at half maximum in the phantom image using a Field II program was improved by 41.01% compared to LR when SRCNN was used. In addition, the peak to signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and structural similarity index (SSIM) evaluation results showed that SRCNN had the excellent value in both simulated and real liver hemangioma ultrasound images. In conclusion, the applicability of SRCNN to ultrasound images has been proven, and we expected that proposed algorithm can be used in various diagnostic medical fields.

Perception of Good Death, Knowledge and Perception of Hospice Palliative Care among The Nursing Graduates (간호학과 졸업예정자의 좋은 죽음에 대한 인식, 호스피스 완화의료 지식 및 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of good death, knowledge and perception hospice palliative care among the nursing graduates. The subjects of this study were 241 nursing students in 4th grade in 8 universities nationwide. The results showed that the perception of good death was positively correlated with perception of hospice palliative care and knowledge of hospice palliative care with perception of hospice palliative care. The perception of good death was 3.28 points. Knowledge of hospice palliative care was 9.24 points. Perception of hospice palliative care was 4.07 points. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to improve the curriculum to improve knowledge and perception of good death and hospice palliative care, and to develop various teaching methods and programs such as role play, simulation, and discussion.

  • Simulation system was introduced and used a lot in the fields of aviation, vessel, and medical treatment. 3D Simulation system has been used quite insufficiently as it requires a lot of system resource and huge amount of computer calculation. As the graphic card performance and simulation function developed, however, PC based simulation has been activated and is verified of its possibility as an educational software. However, educational institutions need to invest huge amount of budget and manpower to purchase and maintain CT Equipment. For such a reason, educational institutions entrust their students to hospitals for indirect experience of operation or for mere observation. This study, therefore, developed a CT Virtual reality education system with which medical CT Equipment can be directly operated in PC based 3D Virtual environment.
