The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between dental decision factors and dental service satisfaction of the high school students. The study participants consisted of 300 high school students in some regions. A total of 288 were used for the final analysis, except 12 with insufficient responses. The data was analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 program. According to general characteristics, if there was no scaling experience, orthodontic treatment, high satisfaction with school life, the higher the subjective oral health status, the higher the satisfaction of the dental hospital. Hospital decision factors according to the general characteristics of the subjects most frequently answered that employee service satisfaction was important. As a result of testing the correlation between hospital decision factors and medical service satisfaction, there was a significant positive correlation between medical service satisfaction, such as facility, recommendation of others, use procedures, service adequacy, employee service satisfaction. As a factor influencing dental hospital satisfaction, subjective oral health was shown as a good criterion, and usage procedures and staff service satisfaction showed positive relevance. Continuous trust builds up is important to improve patient satisfaction.

As both medical and IT technologies advance, convergent medical technologies such as implantable medical devices are receiving a lot of attentions from the research and medical appliance market. On the other hand, such a new medical service is facing several new security threats including patient privacy breach since the service is based on the wireless communication. Especially, the new security threat could induce the patient's life threatening accident, so that more secure measures should be provided. In this paper, a variety of security threats associated with the implantable medical devices are pinpointed and a new security mechanism against such threats is proposed.

최근 디지털 의료영상 자료들이 급격히 증가하고 의학과 임상에서 많은 병원과 기관 사이의 협업연구가 증가함에 따라 지리적으로 분산된 외부 기관과의 원격 데이터 공유 및 원격의 데이터 접근이 필요하게 되었다. 의료 장비 사이의 데이터 교환을 위한 DICOM은 외부 기관의 방화벽으로부터 의료 이미지 데이터 접근을 지원하는 보안 방법과 전송 속도 문제로 인해 협업 환경에 적합하지 않으며, 의료 이미지 데이터 관리 기능을 제공하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 그리드 기반의 협업 환경을 제안하고 웹 서비스를 이용한 그리드 데이터 관리 기능을 구현하여 의료 분야의 PACS 통합과 의료 이미지 데이터 교환 문제를 해결하였다.

최근 생명 연장과 삶의 질에 관한 많은 관심에 따라서 의료 부문에 있어서도 Ubiquitous 환경을 도입하는 노력이 시도되고 있다. 그 중 Ubiquitous Hospital은 여러 가지 병원 서비스 부분의 편의성을 제공하고자 분야로써 이것을 이용하여 시간과 장소의 제약 없이 각종 의료서비스와 건강관리를 제공 받을 수 있는 Ubiquitous Healthcare 서비스에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 Ubiquitous Healthcare 서비스 제공 system 구현을 위한 framework을 제안한다. 이 framework에서는 사용자가 되는 의사와 환자에 적합한 인터페이스를 제공하고 환자에 대한 추적 관찰과 증상의 판단 및 환자 진료시의 지원 서비스를 제공한다. 또한 보험회사나 병원과 같은 외부시스템과 연계하여 필요한 데이터의 공유가 가능하도록 한다. 그리고 제안된 framework를 이용하여 전립선 환자를 위한 BPH 환자관리 시스템을 구현한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that satisfy health services of cancer patients in university hospitals. 420 cancer patients who had visited hospitals in the capital and regional area were selected for this study. The data was collected through questionnaire survey along with a face-to-face interview from March. 21 to March. 30, 2011. This major findings of this research are as follows. First, satisfaction of cancer patients regarding health services is determined by the quality, kindness and detailed explanation of medical team. Second, health services satisfaction of cancer patients is strongly related to good convenience facilities and up-to-date medical equipments. Third, satisfaction of cancer patients regarding health services was statistically proved to have no significant relation to easy accessibility of hospital. Therefore, it is very important for university hospitals to improve quality of medical staff such as ability, kindness and detailed explanation of doctor, offer good convenience facilities and the most advanced equipments. It is expected that the outcomes of this study will contribute to the satisfaction improvement for cancer patients in university hospitals.

The present study explored factors that influence consumers' benefit expectancy about telemedicine service. Responses from a national online survey of 927 adults (aged 19-59), collected in January 2016, were analyzed with multiple regression analysis. The results revealed: (1) Health consciousness positively influenced all three benefit expectancies (all ps < .05); (2) Doctor-patient communication efficacy positively influenced expectancy for convenience improvement (${\beta}=.107$, p < .01) and service quality improvement (${\beta}=.086$, p < .05); (3) Use of health-related smart applications contributed to positive expectancy for service quality improvement (${\beta}=.081$, p < .05) and cost-saving (${\beta}=.067$, p < .05). Some of the relationships were moderated by gender and residence. This convergence study, which examined public's perception about telemedicine from the perspectives of consumer psychology, media, and public health, provides practical implications to promote telemedicine service and educate consumers about it.

This study investigates the distribution characteristics of medical services in Korea. For the purpose this paper examines the spatial discordance between the provisions of the medical services and the need for them, and analyzes the spatial distribution patterns of medical service in both inter- and intra-regional levels. Disclosed is a severe regional disparity problem in the provision of medical facilities at both inter-regional and intra-regional levels. In recent years people's interest gets increased more in the social well-being of the community, and the resulting strong request makes it desirable to restructure the healthcare service system. This study has thus attempted to draw out the distribution function of the medical facilities, based on the examination of the real data. A particular attention has been paid to whether there exists any hierarchical structure in their size distribution. Quite remarkably, no appreciable hierarchical structure has been observed in the scale of the medical facilities in Korea, in sharp contrast to of the three-level hierarchical structure assumed in the three-level referral system adopted widely. Remarkably, it is revealed that medical facilities in Korea are described by scale-invariant distribution functions. Instead, scale-invariant power-law behavior has been found in the size distribution, which is expected to be rather generic and applicable to other countries as well.

최근 센서를 이용한 의료 분야로의 유비쿼터스 시스템 및 서비스 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 의료 분야 서비스의 기본적 전제인 WBAN 환경에서의 기존의 모니터링 시스템은 매우 수동적이다. 이를 개선해 스트림 데이터에 대해 보다 효율적인 모니터링 시스템을 구축하기 위한, 우선 순위를 표현하기 위한 큐(Queue)와 각 속성에 대한 질의로 구성된 레벨 트리(Level Tree)로 이어지는 질의 색인 구조에 대해 논하고자 한다.

Hospital out-shopping by local patients has become more popular. In particular, many cancer patients have visited hospitals in the capital area to get better medical services regardless of how far the hospitals are from their home. However this kind of hospital out-shopping may discontinue medical treatment and cause a waste of medical resources including manpower. In addition, it creates additional economic and social expenses such as caretakers' transportation and lodging expenses. It is necessary to study patients who would take the medical treatment in Busan go to Seoul for better medical services are more satisfied based on objective data. For this, a questionnaire survey has been performed against 223 cancer patients who had a surgery in Busan and 187 patents who had an operation in Seoul. According to the survey, the patients who had an operation in the capital area(Group A) were more satisfied than the patients who had a surgery in Busan(Group B) in terms of convenience facilities, doctors' competence. However the Group A was very dissatisfied in terms of accessibility and satisfaction on overall medical services.

This study aims to estimate the trajectory of outpatient medical service use and examine what factors are associated with the trajectory among older adults 60 and over with specific focuses on age variations. Using the first three waves of the Korean Welfare Panel Study data, the trajectory and predictors were examined through the Latent Growth Curve Modeling and age variations were examined through the Multi-group Comparison Analyses. The research model was developed based on the Anderson Model. The results showed that study participants tend to increase outpatient medical service use with years. Individuals 75 or younger presented a much faster increasing rate of medical service use than those 75 and over. Similar to the findings of the previous studies, most predisposing factors, resource factors, and needs factors were found to be associated with the trajectory of outpatient medical service use. Needs factors were more closely associated with the medical service use trajectory than resource factors. With regard to age variations in predictors, few significant age variations were found. Based on the finding of the study, implications and future research directions were discussed.
