The purpose of this study was to compare the health status of South Korea with those of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries and examine the trends. Position vAlue for Relative Comparison (PARC) was used as a gauge for comparison, and five sectors of the health care system were measured: demand, supply, accessibility, quality, and cost. The Mann-Kendall test was used as a statistical analysis method to examine trend of PARC values obtained from 2000 to recent years. According to the results, the demand, supply, accessibility, and quality sectors were higher than the OECD average, while the cost was lower than the average. However, there is a recent trend of sharp increases in health care costs. Some indicators: health employment, quality of primary care and mental health care were lower than the OECD average, and health determinants showed a worsening trend. Therefore, policy-makers need to take this into account and make efforts for sustainable health care.

본 연구는 급변하는 의료환경에 대비하여 간호의 질 향상 및 증진을 통한 환자 만족도 증진을 위해 간호전달체계를 기능적 간호방법에서 팀간호제 방법으로 전환을 하면서 이에 따른 간호활동 및 직무 만족도를 조사하였다. 간접간호 수행률 조사를 살펴보면 기록간호, 확인업무, 물품관리, 간접소통, 전달 업무 등 모두에서 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 영양간호, 전적인 식사보조 등은 간호직무만족도가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간호사 직무만족도는 어려움이 있을 때 동료나 상사에게 의논하는 것으로 나타났다. 안전간호, 화재예방 등이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간호사 업무성과 병동의 시설과 기구를 적절히 관리한다. 간호사 업무성과, 환자에게 적절한 휴식 및 안정을 위한 간호를 제공하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과 간호사들이 역할을 명확히 규명하고 세분화하여 이를 수행하는 직무내용을 명확하게 파악하고 작업표준 지침서를 작성하여 활용한다면 간호사들의 자가 관리 증진은 물론 환자와 보호자에게도 만족감을 높여 줄 수 있는 계기가 될 것이며, 이를 통한 다양한 팀제 운영이 될 것이라 생각된다. 또한, 향후 다양한 업무 개선 활동이 가능할 것이라 생각된다.

최근 우리나라는 노인요양병원이 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며 화재등과 같은 비상 상황에서 노인의 행동 특성과 신체 상태를 고려한 종합적인 피난계획의 수립이 요구된다. 또한 시설 이용자의 대부분이 중증의 치매 및 뇌졸중을 앓고 있는 환자이기 때문에 자력으로 피난이 곤란하고 환자의 보행상태(침대, 휠체어, 각종 보조기구) 등에 따라 피난시간이 상이하여 이용자 전원을 피난시키는 것이 어렵기 때문이다. 본 논문은 성능위주의 설계 시 참고가 될 자료를 제시하기 위해 의료시설인 노인요양병원을 모델로 여러 수집된 자료들로 Simulex를 이용하여 피난시간을 측정하였다. 이 연구의 과정에서 몇 가지 문제시 되는 사항을 발견할 수 있었다.

본 논문은 적절한 침상머리 각도 상승을 유지하여, 인공호흡기 관련 폐렴을 예방하기 위한 의료 보조기구인 부착형 침상머리 각도 모니터링 시스템의 개발 및 성능 분석에 대한 것이다. 개발한 침상머리 각도 모니터링 시스템의 주 기능은 가시적인 침상머리 각도 디스플레이를 통하여 효과적으로 환자의 체위를 유지하도록 도움을 주며, 데이터의 수집을 통하여 환자의 증세 호전 혹은 악화와 연관된 환자의 체위에 대한 데이터베이스를 확보하는 것이다. 시스템은 손쉬운 이동을 위하여 부착형으로 구현하였으며, 데이터베이스로 활용하기 위해 휴리스틱 기법이 혼용된 FIR Filter를 사용하여 노이즈를 제거한다. 성능 분석을 위하여 광학식 엔코더와 침상머리 각도 모니터링 시스템의 측정값을 비교한다.

대부분의 사람들은 의식하지 못하지만 세상은 오른손잡이 중심으로 이뤄져 있기 때문에 왼손잡이가 일상적으로 겪는 불편은 상상외로 많다. 우리가 일상에서 많이 사용하는 연장, 주방기구, 사무용품, 가전제품, 가구, 의류, 악기, 의료기기, 스포츠용품, 공공시설 등 이들 대부분이 오른손잡이에게 맞춰져 있어 왼손잡이들은 자신들의 왼팔을 비틀어서 사용하거나 주손이 아닌 오른손으로 부자연스런 자세로 사용할 수밖에 없다. 이에 따라 왼손잡이는 일상생활에 있어서의 상당한 불편을 느낄 뿐만 아니라 작업 능률의 저하, 재해나 상해를 입을 가능성이 높아질 수 있다. 본 연구는 무작위로 선정된 피설문자에 대한 설문 조사를 통하여 손잡이(handedness)와 관련된 통계수치를 제공하고 왼손잡이인 경우 왼손잡이로서 일상생활에서의 불편함, 작업능률의 저하여부, 오른손잡이 전용제품을 사용하여 상해를 입은 경험 등에 대해 조사하였다. 또한 왼손잡이도 편리하게 사용할 수 있으면 하는 제품이나 공공시설 등에 대한 이들의 주관적인 견해에 대해서도 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 왼손잡이를 위한 공구, 주방용품, 문구용품, 스포츠용품, 사무용품 등에 대하여 현재 적용되어 있는 상품에 대한 고찰과 향후 적용 가능 상품 및 공공시설에 대해 제안하였다.

리니어 스텝핑 모터(Linear Stepping Motor : 이하 LSM이라 칭함)는 운동 변환기구 없이 입력신호에 따라 선형적인 변위를 발생시키는 다이렉트 드라이브(Direct Drive)방식의 전동기이다. 따라서 LSM은 자동반송장치, 의료기기, OA,FA 응용 등에 다양하게 사용되고 있다. 그러나 LSM은 구동시 구조적으로 큰 진동이 발생됨으로서 추력이 급격히 떨어질 때가 있으며, 최악의 경우에는 역전이나 탈조현상이 발생하고, 또한 소음의 원인이 되기 때문에 응용에 있어서 많은 제약을 받고 있는 실정이다. 여기에 대응하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 권선 인덕턴스에 저장된 에너지와 LSM의 유도전압을 이용한 새로운 1상 여자방식에 의한 진동억제 방법을 보여주며, 또한 LSM의 구조를 기초로 자기등가회로를 구성하였으며, 또한 자기등가회로에 대한 방정식을 이용하여 LSM의 전기적인 등기회로를 유도하였다. 그리고, LSM의 새로운 1상 여자방식에 의한 진동특성을 전압방정식과 추력방정식 및 운동방정식을 사용하여 ACSL에 의하여 시뮬레이션 하였으며, 레이저 실측 시스템에 의한 실측결과와 비교·검토하였다.

This study aims to evaluate the status of Korean healthcare among Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries and to monitor the trend of health care status since 2000. The position value for relative comparison (PARC) index was selected to gauge the level of healthcare status in demand, supply, accessibility, quality, and cost as per healthcare policy aspects. The Mann-Kendall test was conducted to allocate healthcare status of Korea since 2000. The PARC values indicate strength and weakness of Korean healthcare system by the mathematical comparisons. Korea positioned higher in demand, supply, accessibility, and quality. Yet, there are shortages in human resources and primary care. In conclusion, we suggest utilizing this study provides evidence to prioritize health care problems that can lead to establishing healthcare policy.

The objective of this study is to investigate the healthcare status of South Korea and other member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) using OECD health statistics 2020. We employed the position value for relative comparison index to measure the healthcare status in five following components: demand, supply, accessibility, quality, and cost. The Mann-Kendall test was used to analyze for increasing or decreasing trend of the position value for relative comparison values from 2000 to the recent year. Results showed that Korea was positioned above than the OECD median values in most of components, but lower than the median values in certain indices including healthcare employment, primary care, and mental health care. This study sheds some light on healthcare issues to be improved and the policy-makes can take into account for prior setting process.

For the statistical analysis, Mann-Kendall test was performed to examine the trend of the PARC values from 2000 to the most recent year. The results showed that supply, demand, accessibility, and quality were above median than the OECD median and the cost was below median. In sectors such as primary care, health employment and mental health care were below median average. With these result, necessary steps for a sustainable healthcare should be taken into effort by policy makers.

This study examined the trend of healthcare status and compared the status of South Korea and other member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) using the OECD health statistics 2022. We used the OECD health statistics from 2022 and a position value for relative comparison (PARC) index to compare the five elements of the healthcare system. The study also used a Mann-Kendall test to analyze the trend of the PARC values from 2000 to the present year. The findings of the study indicate that many South Korea's PARC values were higher than the OECD median. But practicing physician in supply part and medical cost were lower than OECD median but the trend significantly increased. Medical accessibility part and quality of care part except primary care, and mental health had a high relative position but the trend did not increased significantly. After outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019, there were changes in medical accessibility. Health screening and vaccinations showed an overall decline in 2020 compared to 2019. These results suggest that policymakers need to take necessary steps for a sustainable healthcare system in the country.
