Evaluation of Material Properties for Yonggwang Nuclear Piping Systems(II) - Safety Injection System- (영광원자력 배관소재의 재료물성치 평가 (II) -안전주입계통-)

  • The objective of this paper is to evaluate the material properties of SA312 TP316 and SA312 TP304 stainless steels and their associated welds manufactured for safety injection system of Yonggwang 3,4 nuclear generating stations. A total of 62 tensile tests and 46 fracture toughness tests were conducted and the effects of various parameters such as pipe size, crack plane orientation, tests were conducted and the effects of various parameters such as pipe size, crack plane orientation, test temperature, welding on material properties were discussed. Test results show that the effect of test temperature on fracture toughness was significant while the effects of pipe size and crack plane orientation on fracture toughness were negligible. Fracture toughness of the weld metal was in general higher than that of the base metal.

Pore Pressure Behavior of Normally Consolidated Deep Sea Clay (정규압밀된 심해점토의 간극수압 거동)

  • This paper presents triaxial test (CIVC and CKOUC) results on normally consolidated deep sea clay samples. Based on the test results the pore pressure-strain relations for both isotropicaly and anisotropicaly consgidated samples are expressed with hyperbolic functions of the major princpal strain. The analysis of the difference in pore pressure behavior due to the anisotropy in consolidation stress is carried out with the effective stress pathos of CIVC and CKOUC and finds a factor which correlates the pore pressure of two types of test.

  • This study performed FEM analysis of a 38 person elevator brake. Recently, an emergency brake was newly developed to improve elevator safety. A 3D design was developed using Solid Works and FEM analysis using analysis code ANSYS. The total deformation, stress and strain were obtained.

  • This study is object to structural analysis of running machine frame. The finite element model was developed to compute the stress. strain and natural frequency for running machine frame. The FEM code was used for this analysis. In other to structural analysis of running machine frame, many variables such as load condition, boundary condition and weight condition were considered.

  • Existing hydraulic valve meter used in industrial fields precise pressure measurement gives inconvenience in precise measurement due to manually regulated pressures. In order to improve this inconvenience, the hydraulic valve meter was designed by using automatic design program CATIA and structural analysis of the designed hydraulic valve meter was conducted and internal water leaking, stress, strain and total deformation were obtained by applying three dimensional finite element code ANSYS. These results will be provided to develop new concepts of hydraulic valve meters as fundamental data.

  • In this paper, a high pressure cleaning machine in field was disassembled and measured in order to develop a highly improved pressure cleaner in performance and real configuration was modeled by using 3-D design program CATA V5. In addition, fluid analysis was conducted on the modeled high pressure cleaning machine by using ANSYS finite element analysis program and visualize the pressure changes of internal fluid flow was visualized. This result will be applied to a new designed high pressure cleaning machine in future.

  • The deformation, the stress distribution, and the contact pressure of gaskets used in sealing flanges of CF (Con-Flat) or IPD (Improved) type were calculated to investigate the possibility of analyzing and estimatimg the sealing performance under a given tightening condition for a specific flange system.

  • This research is materialized the mechanism of a interlocking elevator device to meet with customer's requirement demanding a variety of function. On this suitably theoretical translation and by considering of material significance of the most factor's tension spring and torsion spring, it's compared and reviewed the stress's calculation according that SWC and SWPB applied differently. And also that is approved through actual experiment. Out of a variety of feasible movement. Torque Balance is materialized by combination of tension spring, torsion spring and disk spring. So that application of 3 factors for optimal design is very important factor. In future, this research thesis make sure to play a highly role for application and improvement mechanically in various industry sector out of materializing interlock.

極小 Energy 定理와 그 應용 II

  • 이상에서 potential energy의 극소조건을 각종경우에 적용하여 재료역학의 해 또는 변형의 근사 해를 응용 예들을 통하여 구해 보았다. 이 해법은 을 받은 부재, 보(beam) 또는 순수 비틀림을 받는 엔형봉재의 경우, 부정정 문제에서 그 지지점들에서의 반력요소를 생각할 필요가 없기 때 문에 재료 역학적인 해법보다 더 간편하게 구해지고 있는 것을 볼 수가 있다. 또 보의 처짐 곡 선이 길이의 중앙면에 대하여 좌우 대칭형일 때에, 중앙단면에서의 최대처짐을 구하는데 삼각 함수의 근사처짐 곡선을 설정하므로써 실제 엄밀해에 가까운 근사값이 간단하게 구해질 수 있는 것을 보였다. 이 극소에너지 정리는 엔형단면이 아닌 각종 단면봉재의 비틀림 문제에서도 비틀림 응력함수를 도입하고, 경제조전을 만족하는 근사공력 함수방정식을 가정함으로써 간단하게 그 근사해를 구하는 데까지 직장할 수가 있다.

Study on High Temperature Processing of Ti-10Ta-10Nb Alloys (Ti-10Ta-10Nb 합금의 고온 가공 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Specimens of Ti-10Ta-10Nb have been hot upset forged after heating to either the $\alpha$+$\beta$ and $\beta$-phase field. The variety temperatures (At 650, 700, 750, 800, 85$0^{\circ}C$) and strain rates (At 0.001, 0.01. 0.1, 1, 10 $s^{-1}$ ) were used. On the basis of flow stress data obtained as a function of temperature and strain rate in compression, a processing map for hot working has been developed. At strain rates lower than about 0.1 $s^{-1}$ and almost temperatures, processing efficiency exhibited high, but at 0.001 $s^{-l}$, and temperature 80$0^{\circ}C$, low because the Shear band has occurred. On the basis of the processing map, the optimum processing routes available for hot working of this material are outlined.d.
