  • 일반적으로 구조부재의 안전성 평가는 계측된 센서의 변형률로부터 부재의 최대응력 또는 부재력 수준을 결정하고 설계기준에 의한 부재의 허용응력 또는 설계 강도와의 비교에 의해서 이루어진다. 그러나 이러한 설계기준은 건물의 설계단계에서 미리 가정된 하중 및 부재의 강도에 대한 여러 확률분포 또는 안전율을 반영하여 작성된 것으로 실질적으로 센서로부터 측정한 데이터를 직접 설계기준에 반영하는 것은 합리적이지 못하다. 본 연구에서는 실제 센서로부터 측정되는 변형률을 이용하여 합리적으로 구조부재의 안전성 평가를 수행하기 위한 방법을 모색하고자 한다. 설계기준을 고려한 변형률 제한치, 저감계수가 도입되었으며 이에 추가적으로 센서와 관련한 계수를 도입하여 구조부재의 안전성 평가를 위한 방향을 제시한다.

Determination of Compound Stress Intensity Factor by Superposition Method (중첩법에 의한 복합응력확대계수의 결정)

  • In this study, the stress intensity factors of center crack are analyzed when it is surrounded by symmetrically distributed small cracks. The values of stress intensity factors of the center crack are greatly influenced by the locations of distributed small cracks. When small cracks overlap or approach near the tip of a center crack, the effect of interaction arisen by these cracks becomes noticeable. In case of multiple distributed small cracks, the stress intensity factor of a center crack is found to be efficiently determined by the superposition method.

  • If defects are located far apart, fatigue cracks are independently initiated from them and gradually approach other cracks so that the fatigue life becomes influenced by the crack growth behavior of those interacting cracks. In this study, the effect of the stress interaction between defects on the fatigue crack propagation behavior is investigated experimentally and these results are verified by finite element method. In addition, fatigue crack propagation behaviors under micro hole interaction field are studied.

  • 심미도재수복시의 와동의 폭과 교두의 capping이 응력의 분포에 미치는 영향을 비교하기 위하여 연속사진 촬영술을 이용하여 상악제1소구치의 3차원 유한요소 모델을 제작하였다. 법랑질, 상아질, 도재 및 복합레진시멘트의 각각의 재질에 대한 물성치를 부여하고, 140N의 하중을 가하여 Super SAP 프로그램으로 해석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 응력은 탄성계수값이 큰 법랑질과 도재를 따라 분포되고, 연질의 상아질에는 적게 발생된다. 2. 와동의 협측치수선각부위에서는 인레이모델의 경우에는 와동폭의 증가에 따른 응력의 증가는 관찰되지 않으나, 온레이모델에서는 응력의 증가가 관찰된다. 3. 온레이모델의 경우에는 근심협측교두를 피개하고 있는 도재부위에 최대주응력이 크게 나타나고, 치은변연부의 도재에서는 교두를 피개하지 않은 인레이모델의 해당되는 법랑질에 비해 응력이 1/2정도로 감소된다. 4. 하중이 증가되면 잔존치질의 파절은 근심와동의 협측치은선각부위에서 협측보다는 치은을 향해 경사지게 일어날 것이다. 5. 교두를 피개하면 교두피개부위에서의 도재의 파절가능성은 증가되고, 치은변연에서는 도재와 하부의 치질의 파절가능성은 감소된다. 6. 도재를 이용하여 교두를 피개할 경우에는 응력을 견딜 수 있는 도재의 두께를 부여할 수 있도록 교두를 충분히 삭제하여야 하고, 충분한 강도를 갖는 도재를 선택하여야 한다.

  • The important factor to evaluate the running safety of a railway vehicle would be the interaction force between wheel and rail(derailment coefficient), for which is one of important factors to check the running safety of a railway vehicle that may cause a tragic accident. In this paper, when interaction force between wheel and rail happens to wheel-set of tilting vehicles, it analyzes stress distribution and verified safety.

  • The shear strength and deformation characteristics of granular soils at low confining stresses differ from those with high confining stresses. Thus, the clear understanding of geotechnical problems related to the low confining stress state such as the stability of shallow foundations, embankments, slope failure, debris flow characteristics and liquefaction as well as the various laboratory model tests is needed. In this study, drained triaxial compression tests with the cell pressures from 5 kPa to 300 kPa were performed on dry Jumunjin sand. The results show that the internal friction angle and deformation modulus are dependent on the confining stress. Also, the correlations between them on the dense and loose sand were established.

The influence of occlusal loads on stress distribution of cervical composite resin restorations: A three-dimensional finite element study (교합력이 치경부 복합레진 수복물의 응력분포에 미치는 영향에 관한 3차원 유한요소법적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of various occlusal loading sites and directions on the stress distribution of the cervical composite resin restorations of maxillary second premolar, using 3 dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) analysis. Extracted maxillary second premolar was scanned serially with Micro-CT (SkyScan1072; SkyScan, Aartselaar, Belgium). The 3D images were processed by 3D-DOCTOR (Able Software Co., Lexington, MA, USA). HyperMesh (Altair Engineering. Inc., Troy, USA) and ANSYS (Swanson Analysis Systems. Inc., Houston, USA) was used to mesh and analyze 3D FE model. Notch shaped cavity was filled with hybrid (Z100, 3M Dental Products, St. Paul, MN, USA) or flowable resin (Tetric Flow, Viva dent Ets., FL-9494-Schaan, Liechtenstein) and each restoration was simulated with adhesive layer thickness ($40{\mu}m$). A static load of 200 N was applied on the three points of the buccal incline of the palatal cusp and oriented in $20^{\circ}$ increments, from vertical (long axis of the tooth) to oblique $40^{\circ}$ direction towards the buccal. The maximum principal stresses in the occlusal and cervical cavosurface margin and vertical section of buccal surfaces of notch-shaped class V cavity were analyzed using ANSYS. As the angle of loading direction increased, tensile stress increased. Loading site had little effect on it. Under same loading condition. Tetric Flow showed relatively lower stress than Z100 overall, except both point angles. Loading direction and the elastic modulus of restorative material seem to be important factor on the cervical restoration.

On the Fracture Behaviour of the Concrete Gravity Dam Subjected to Water Pressure at the Crack Faces (균열면에 수압을 받는 중력식 콘크리트 댐의 파괴거동에 관한 연구)

  • The fracture behaviour of concrete gravity dam mainly due to uplift pressure acting at the crack face was studied. Triangular type and parabolic type distribution of the uplift pressure including uniform type were first considered in case of calculating stress intensity factor(SIF) by the surface integral method. Second, the directions of crack propagation according to the uplift pressure distribution were pursued by FRANC(FRacture ANalysis Code). Third, critical crack lengths according to the uplift pressure distribution under the overflow depth were calculated. The SIF values obtained from the surface integral method were compared with those by FRANC and relatively good agrements could be obtained between both of them. And it could be seen that the direction of crack propagation in case of triangular pressure distribution was a little benter to the dam base than the one by the uniform type. Maximum critical crack lengths under the overflow depth were obtained at about 2/5-1/2 of the dam height.

  • To evaluate the mechanical behavior and the compressive stress distribution in high tension bolted joints according to the size of bolt hole, the experimental and analytical studies are performed with enlarging bolt hole size. In experimental study, the static test is performed to measure the slip coefficient, and the fatigue test is also performed to evaluate the fatigue strength and failure pattern of fatigue crack. In analytical study, the compressive stress distribution is investigated by using the finite element analysis. From the result of experimental study, the slip coefficient and fatigue strength of the high tension bolted joints with oversize hole are not much different but somewhat it has decreased. These are because the size of bolt hole is larger than the holes of nominal size, therefore the width of clamping force is decreased and the compressive stress distribution area is smaller, this is certificated in the finite element analysis. In addition, the origin of fatigue crack in the oversize holes is closer to the hole than in the holes of nominal size, consequently it is investigated that the origin of fatigue crack is intimately associated with the compressive stress distribution which is formulated by the clamping force in both base metal and splice plate.
