  • The frequency response function(FRF) of each substructure is used in the transfer function synthesis method(TFS). The dynamic characteristics of an entire system are obtained by synthesizing results of substructures. The accuracy of TFS will depend on that of FRF of each substructure. 자동차 배기계의 압력파 전파특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Pressure Wave Propagation in Automotive Exhaust System)

  • Based on experimental analysis, the characteristics of pulsating pressure wave propagation is clarified by testing of 4-stroke gasoline engine. The pulsating pressure wave in exhaust system is generated by pulsating gas flow due to working of exhaust valve. The pulsating pressure wave is closely concerned to the loss of engine power according to back pressure and exhaust noise. It is difficult to exactly calculate pulsating pressure wave propagation in exhaust system because of nonlinear effect. Therefore, in the first step for solving these problems, this paper contains experimental model and analysis method which are applied two-port network analysis. Also, it shows coherence function, frequency response function, back pressure, and gradient of temperature in exhaust system.

  • The frequency response function(FRF) of each substructure is used for the transfer function synthesis method(TFS). The dynamic characteristics of the full system are obtained by synthesizing FRFs of each substructure. The validation of TFS depends on accuracy for FRF of each substructure. Impact hammer testing Is widely used to obtain the modal characteristics of structures However. the FRF obtained from impact hammer testing contains bias errors, such as finite record length error and leakage error of which characteristic depends on data acquisition time which we call record length. In this paper, a method to remove hose errors is proposed so as to enhance results of TFS. Numerical and experimental examples show that the FRF of full structure can be predicted nearly exactly by the method proposed in this paper.

  • This paper demonstrates the validity of spectral element analysis for modeling the high-frequency dynamic behaviors of a beam with a surface-bonded piezoelectric wafer through a laboratory test. In the spectral element analysis, the high-frequency electro-mechanical interaction can be considered properly with relatively low computational cost compared to the finite element analysis. In the verification test, a cantilever beam with a surface-bonded piezoelectric wafer is forced to be in steady-state motion by exerting the harmonic driving voltage signal on the piezoelectric wafer. A laser scanning vibrometer is used to obtain the overall dynamic responses of the structure such as resonance frequencies, the associated mode shapes, and frequency response functions up to 20 kHz. Then, these dynamic responses from the test are compared to those computed by the spectral element analysis. A two-dimensional finite analysis is conducted to obtain the asymptotic solutions for the comparison purpose as well.

스펙트럴유한요소법을 적용한 점탄성층 샌드위치평판의 진동해석 (Applications of Spectral Finite Element Method for Vibration Analysis of Sandwich Plate with Viscoelastic Core)

  • In this paper, a spectral finite element method for a rectangular sandwich plate with viscoelastic core having the Levy-type boundary conditions has been plated. The sandwich plate consists of two isotropic and elastic face plates with a surfaced-bonded viscoelastic core. For the analysis, the in-plane and transverse energy in the face plates and only shear energy in the core are considered, respectively. To account for the frequency dependent complex shear modulus of the viscoelastic core, the Golla-Hughes-McTavish model is adopted. To evaluate the validity and accuracy of the proposed method, the frequency response function and dynamic responses of the sandwich plate with all edges simply supported subject to an impact load are calculated and compared with those calculated by a finite element method. Though these calculations, it is confirmed that the proposed method is very reliable and efficient one for vibration analysis of a rectangular sandwich plate with viscoelastic core having the Levy-type boundary conditions.

  • 구조응답에 기여하는 중요성으로 인하여 추계론적 해석에서는 재료탄성계수의 불확실성에 의한 응답변화도에 대한 연구가 주로 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 추계론적 해석이 의미있는 값을 제공하기 위해서는 가능한 많은 인수에 대한 불확실성을 동시에 고려하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 구조재료의 중요한 두 인수인 탄성계수와 포아송비에 나타나는 불확실성을 고려한 추계론적 해석을 위한 정식화를 평면문제에 대하여 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 이들 두 인수의 함수로 주어지는 구성행렬의 각 요소에 대한 다항식 전개를 채용하였으며, 두 인수의 불확실성에 따라 나타나는 자기 및 상호상관함수는 n-차 모멘트에 대한 일반식을 적용하여 구성하였다. 다항식 전개에 따라 부행렬의 무한합으로 변형된 구성행렬은 계산상의 편의를 위하여 요구되는 정확도 내에서 절삭하여 사용하였다. 제안된 방법의 검증을 위하여 단순 평면구조를 예제로 택하여 해석하었으며, 해석결과는 국부평균법을 채용한 고전적인 몬테카를 해석 결과와 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 종래의 FRF법을 이용하였을때의 문제점을 보완하고 계의 정확 한 진동원을 파악하기 위하여 진동원 간에 강한 상관관계가 존재하는 경우에 사용되는 다차원 스펙트럼해석(Multi-Dimensional Spectral Analysis` MDSA)법을 가솔린엔진에 적용 검토하였다.

EMC 모노폴 안테나의 복소 안테나 인자 (Complex Antenna Factors of EMC Monopole Antenna)

  • 본 논문에서는 전자계의 시간 변화 파형을 측정하기 위한 모노폴 안테나의 복소 안테나 인자 및 전달함수의 주파수 응답 특성 등을 논의하고 있다. 안테나에 흐르는 전류분포는 구분적 정현함수를 사용한 Galerkin의 모멘트법으로 계산하고 있으며 저주파수 대역에서는 반사를 줄이기 위해 칩저항을 접속한 경우의 복소 안테나 인자에 대하여 검토하고 있다. 이론 해석의 결과, 칩저항이 접속된 경우는 접속하지 않은 경우보다 복소 안테나 인자의 절대치는 5.6㏈정도 커진다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 주파수가 낮은 경우에 유용하게 사용할 수 있는 변형 복소 안테나 인자의 특성에 대해서도 논의하고 있다. 근역장 보정법으로 측정된 복소 안테나 인자와도 비교하여 이론 계산의 타당성을 확인하고 있다.

  • Researches on the FRF-based substructuring method have been mainly focused on vibratory response analysis. Present study is concerned about the application of the method to the dynamic stress analysis of a compressor mounting bracket in a passenger car. This is performed by using reaction forces that can be obtained by the FRF-based substructuring method. The air-conditioner system, composed of a compressor, a bracket and a test jig, is analyzed by using the FRF-based substructuring method. The experimental and numerical FRFs are combined to calculate the system responses and reaction forces at the connection point. The dynamic reaction forces plugged into the bracket FE model to compute the compute the stresses of the bracket. Dynamic stresses by the present method are compared with those from FE model. The comparison shows possibility of practical usage of the method for the real problem.
