Previous studies have reported that a plausible reference point has a greater anchoring effect than an extreme reference point. It is also known that the anchoring effect decreases when the individual's level of knowledge related to a given item is high. However, there has been no study examining the interaction of the plausibility of the reference point and the difficulty of the given question. Therefore, in this study, the effect of the reference plausibility and the difficulty of the questions on the anchoring effect were examined. The relationship between the response confidence and the anchoring effect was also examined. To do so, easy and difficult questions, plausible and extreme reference points were selected through preliminary research. The experiment was conducted following the 'standard anchoring task procedure'. As results, the extremity of the reference point and the difficulty of the question affected the size of the anchoring effect respectively. The difficulty of the question also affected the confidence of the response. Specifically, when a plausible reference point was presented and when a difficult question was presented, the anchoring effects were increased. In addition, the lower the confidence in one's performances, the greater the influence of the reference point when an extreme reference point was presented. These results show that the plausibility of the given reference point and the difficulty of the item have different effects on the magnitude of the anchoring effect and the degree of confidence. The results of this study support the attitude change perspective regarding the anchoring effect, which suggests that the anchoring effect varies depending on the characteristics of the reference point and the individual's knowledge.

How much do people living in different communities vary in their survey responses? A few studies have examined the effect of the social environment on survey response. Making generalizations from these studies by looking at the effect of social environment on survey response is complicated due to differences in survey dimensions, including incentives, survey mode, types of response rates, and geographic levels. Using the 2000 Census Final Response Rates(CFRR) and the 2002 General Social Survey Response Rates(GSSRR) linked with the 2000 Census in the United States, we attempt to understand how community characteristics associated with survey cooperation vary between data sets. We found that people living in poor area are less likely to cooperate with the Census but more likely to cooperate with GSS, while people living in an area with more minors under 18 is more likely to cooperate with both Census and the GSS. By using two data sources with contrasting survey dimensions within the United States, our findings have implications for survey field operations and hopefully will invigorate studies about response rates in a Korean context.

본 논문은 일사량 변화 시, 최대 출력점을 추종하는 태양광 발전시스템의 동적 응답특성을 향상시키기 위해 가변 스텝 사이즈 기반의 P&O (perturb & observe) 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법은 일사량과 PV (photovoltaic) 전류 관계로부터 일사량 변화에 따른 최대 전력점 전류 $I_{MPP}$변화 특성을 이용하며, 새로운 I-V 곡선에서 PV 동작점을 최대 출력점으로 빠르게 이동시키는 고속모드와 정상상태 부근에서 정상상태 효율 향상을 위한 가변 스텝 모드로 구성된다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 $500W/m^2$와 $1000W/m^2$ 일사량 증감 조건에서 제안된 MPPT(maximum power point tracking) 기법의 추종 성능을 검증하였으며, MPPT 주기가 2초이고 일사량 $500W/m^2$과 $1000W/m^2$ 증감을 할 때 추종시간은 약 30초 정도이며, 정상상태 PV 전압변동은 약 0.1V로써 일사량 변화 조건에서 제안된 MPPT 기법의 알고리즘 성능을 검증하였다.

The objective of this study was to provide information on difficulty of performing tasks, degree of task satisfaction, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention as well as investigate correlations among these factors. Data were collected on employees working at Centers for Children's Foodservice Management, which had been operating for over 6 months until December 2013. The recruitment period was from December 16, 2013 to January 30, 2014. A total of 228 employees (79.7%) participated in the study, and 227 completed questionnaires were analyzed. Statistical analyses were performed on the data utilizing the SPSS V20.0 and AMOS V21.0 programs. The main results of this study were as follows: task satisfaction of employees in charge of 'visiting-teaching' for children was highest (4.24 points), whereas that of employees in charge of financial management was lowest (2.92 points). In terms of evaluation of job satisfaction factors, the score of 'co-worker' was highest (3.99 points) while that of 'payment' was lowest (2.45 points). Average scores of general job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention were 3.56 points, 3.54 points, and 3.07 points, respectively. Job achievement was the most significant influencing factor on general job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. According to the path analysis results, the degree of task satisfaction affected job satisfaction. Organizational commitment had a more significant effect on turnover intention than job satisfaction and mediate both job satisfaction and turnover intention. Although employees of CCFSMs endeavor to improve the quality of child-care facility foodservice, some facilities do not. Controlling turnover intention of employees is especially critical for CCFSMs since it is important for each employees to form strong bonds with child-care facilities as well as to shorten the time required to train new employees. Thus, job satisfaction, which is related to organizational commitment and turnover intention, can be improved by considering poorly scored job satisfaction factors such as wage or workload.

This paper discusses the techniques, procedures and the results of the ground vibration test(GVT) performed on the development aircraft and the simple procedure of FE model updating technique from the GVT results. The GVT was carried out using random excitation technique with MIMO(Multi-Input-Multi-Output) data acquistion method, and taking full advantage of poly-reference global parameter estimation technique to identify the vibration modes. In dynamic FE modeling, the aircraft was represented by beam elements and all dynamic analysis was performed using MSC/NASTRAN for this model. In updating procedure, the stiffness of the beam model was adjusted iteratively so as to get the natural frequencies and mode shapes close to the GVT results.

질문에 답하기 위해 관련 구절을 검색하는 기술은 오픈 도메인 질의응답의 검색 단계를 위해 필요하다. 전통적인 방법은 정보 검색 기법인 빈도-역문서 빈도(TF-IDF) 기반으로 희소한 벡터 표현을 활용하여 구절을 검색한다. 하지만 희소 벡터 표현은 벡터 길이가 길 뿐만 아니라, 질문에 나오지 않는 단어나 토큰을 검색하지 못한다는 취약점을 가진다. 밀집 벡터 표현 연구는 이러한 취약점을 개선하고 있으며 대부분의 연구가 영어 데이터셋을 학습한 것이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 한국어 데이터셋을 학습한 밀집 벡터 표현을 연구하고 여러 가지 부정 샘플(negative sample) 추출 방법을 도입하여 전이 학습한 모델 성능을 비교 분석한다. 또한, 대화 응답 선택 태스크에서 밀집 검색에 활용한 순위 재지정 상호작용 레이어를 추가한 실험을 진행하고 비교 분석한다. 밀집 벡터 표현 모델을 학습하는 것이 도전적인 과제인만큼 향후에도 다양한 시도가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

자연어 추론은 전제가 주어졌을때 특정 가설이 전제에 기반해 합당한지 검증하는 자연어 처리의 하위 과제이다. 우리는 질의응답 시스템이 도출한 정답 및 근거 문서를 자연어 추론 모델로 검증할 수 있다는 점에 착안하여, HotpotQA 질의응답 데이터셋을 자연어 추론 데이터 형식으로 변환한뒤 자연어 추론 모델을 학습하여 여러 질의응답 시스템이 생성한 결과물을 재순위화하고자 하였다. 그 결과로, 자연어 추론 모델에 의해 재순위화된 결과물은 기존 단일 질의응답 시스템의 결과물보다 대체로 향상된 성능을 보여주었다.
