Development of Lavatory Emergency Detection System using Sensors in Train (센서를 활용한 열차 화장실 내 응급상황 감지에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, studied was the application of IT and sensor technology to trains in order to provide safety and convenience for passengers. One of applications is Lavatory Emergency Detection System in a train. Since a lavatory in a train is securely separated space, it is hard to notice an emergency inside of it unless a user sends a request for help. A system that can detect an emergency by using sensors was presented. System requirements were analyzed to design and implement a system. Prototype of the system was made. Then, tests in a laboratory were carried out based on a set of test plan to verify the system functions. Performance was turned out to be very successful. The system developed may have a chance to be installed according to the requirements of specifications of the train to be ordered.

  • With the development of IT technology recently, medical information systems are being constructed in an integrated u-health environment through cloud services, IoT technologies, and mobile applications. These kinds of medical information systems should provide the medical staff with authorities to access patients' medical information for emergency status treatments or therapeutic purposes. Therefore, in the medical information systems, the reliable and prompt authentication processes are necessary to access the biometric information and the medical information of the patients in charge of the medical staff. However, medical information systems are accessing with simple and static user authentication mechanism using only medical ID / PWD in the present system environment. For this reason, in this paper, we suggest a dynamic situation authentication mechanism that provides transparency of medical information access including various authentication factors considering patient's emergency status condition and dynamic situation authentication system supporting it. Our dynamic Situation Authentication is a combination of user authentication and mobile device authentication, which includes various authentication factor attributes such as emergency status, role of medical staff, their working hours, and their working positions and so forth. We designed and implemented a dynamic situation authentication system including emergency status decision, dynamic situation authentication, and authentication support DB construction. Finally, in order to verify the serviceability of the suggested dynamic situation authentication system, the medical staffs download the mobile application from the medical information server to the medical staff's own mobile device together with the dynamic situation authentication process and the permission to access medical information to the patient and showed access to medical information.

Development of Authentication Service Model Based Context-Awareness for Accessing Patient's Medical Information (환자 의료정보 접근을 위한 상황인식 기반의 인증서비스 모델 개발)

  • With the recent establishment of a ubiquitous-based medical and healthcare environment, the medical information system for obtaining situation information from various sensors is increasing. In the medical information system environment based on context-awareness, the patient situation can be determined as normal or emergency using situational information. In addition, medical staff can easily access patient information after simple user authentication using ID and Password through applications on smart devices. However, these services of authentication and patient information access are staff-oriented systems and do not fully consider the ubiquitous-based healthcare information system environment. In this paper, we present a authentication service model based context-awareness system for providing situational information-driven authentication services to users who access medical information, and implemented proposed system. The authentication service model based context-awareness system is a service that recognizes patient situations through sensors and the authentication and authorization of medical staff proceed differently according to patient situations. It was implemented using wearables, biometric data measurement modules, camera sensors, etc. to configure various situational information measurement environments. If the patient situation was emergency situation, the medical information server sent an emergency message to the smart device of the medical staff, and the medical staff that received the emergency message tried to authenticate using the application of the smart device to access the patient information. Once all authentication was completed, medical staff will be given access to high-level medical information and can even checked patient medical information that could not be seen under normal situation. The authentication service model based context-awareness system not only fully considered the ubiquitous medical information system environment, but also enhanced patient-centered systematic security and access transparency.

  • 교통사고나 안전사고로 인한 중증 피해자를 사망으로부터 지켜내기 위해서는 앰뷸런스가 병원으로까지 환자를 이송하는 "골든타임(Golden time)"이 중요하다. 본 연구는 사람들에게 미리 "라이프 라인(Life Line)"을 시각적으로 알려줌으로써, 복잡한 도로에서 응급상황이 왔을 때 자연스럽게 앰뷸런스의 길을 터 주어 빠른 시간 안에 환자를 병원까지 이송하도록 하는 응급도로 표시를 연구하였다. 현재 설치되어 있는 도로 노면표시 중 기존차량에 관한 노면표시를 살펴보고 응급차량 관련 새로운 노면표시 디자인의 가이드 라인을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 일상생활에서 빈번히 발생되는 정지의 위급상황에 대처하기 위해 심폐소생술의 방법을 스마트폰으로 습득할 수 있게 제작하였으며, 심폐소생 자동기기가 비치되어 있는 경우, AED(자동심장제세동기, Automated External Defibrillator)를 사용하여 심폐소생할 수 있는 방법을 단계별로 제공하고 동영상으로 따라해 볼 수 있도록 제작하였다. 신체의 위급한 상황에 대한 발견 및 응급대처 후 인접한 병원에 접근하기 위한 위치정보를 바로 찾아 볼 수 있도록 메뉴를 설정하였으며, 부가적으로 화재시 일반차량들이 소방차의 길을 터주는 안내 동영상도 탑재하여 공익홍보 효과를 더하였다. 따라서 본 논문은 공익적인 특성의 국민 대상 안내, 지침을 App으로 홍보에 효과적으로 적용 가능하며, 앞으로 일반적인 상업용 기업의 메뉴얼로 확장 가능하다.

  • 유비쿼터스 사회(Ubiquitous Society)로의 진입에 발맞추어 USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 기반의 인간 중심적 편의 시스템에 관한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그 중 대형 시장을 갖는 차량 편의시설에 관한 연구는 지능형 차량 시스템(Intelligent Car System)을 중심으로 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 지능형 차량 시스템의 주요 연구는 자동 항법 장치, 사고 예방 장치, 자가 진단 시스템 등 탑승자의 편의성과 안전성을 중심으로 진행되었다. 그러나 탑승자의 사고 발생 시 응급 상황 처리를 위한 지원 시스템은 미미하다. 탑승자 부상으로 사고 신고를 하지 못할 경우, 사고지점 확인, 탑승자의 위급(현재) 상황, 부상 정보와 같은 정보를 얻을 수 없어 응급 상황 대처에 신속하지 못할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 다양한 센서를 이용하여 차량의 정보를 수집하고, 사고 판단 시 차량 위치 정보, 탑승자 상황 정보를 응급 기관에 전달할 수 있는 차량용 스마트 안전장치를 설계 및 구현하였다. 테스트를 위해 Intel PXA255 MCU와 AM-3AXIS(3축 가속 센서), MDSM-1000A(지자기 센서), RX-M800S CDMA, GPS520, Alpha cam, Flex Sensor로 시스템을 제작하였으며 모의 도로 모형에서 테스트 하였다.

  • Lone Death is increasing as elderly population increases. Lone elderly is vulnerable in society for many reasons. This paper explores digital solution to protect solitary in society. First, sensor and AI care robot can be used to collect digital data and situation check. Second, digital device is checked regularly and visiting is expanded in digital environment. Third, digital emergency security system should be established. Fourth, user education is to be regularly carried out including complementary education.

  • 국내에서 다양한 규모와 종류의 화학사고가 지속 발생 중이며 이 중 초동대응 실패로 피해가 확산되는 경우도 발생하면서 이에 따른 화학사고 대응능력 향상에 대한 요구가 생기게 되었다. 그러나 이는 코로나 이전의 상황이며 2020년 이후에는 코로나 19로 인한 사회 여러 분야의 변화로 새로운 개념과 방법으로서 화학사고 대비와 안전에 있어 중요하게 고려할 사항이 생기게 되었다. 화학사고와 같은 특수 상황에 대비하여, 국가적으로 코로나 19 상황 하에서의 재난의료대응 인력에 대한 해당 재난 유형에 대한 교육훈련 프로그램 및 정책이 제공되어야 하며, 재난의료대응기관에서는 현장구조자 및 응급의료진 등 재난의료대응 전문 인력의 양성을 위한 코로나 19와 같은 신종 감염병을 대비한 상황 하에서의 지침 마련, 시스템 보완, 사전 교육이 시행되어야 한다.

Safety Awareness of High School Students, Disaster Safety Education and First Aid Knowledge (고등학생의 안전의식, 재난안전교육 및 응급처치 지식)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the safety consciousness of high school students, disaster safety education, and the degree of first aid knowledge and to understand the relationship between safety consciousness and first aid knowledge. The subjects were 293 male students attending third grade of high school at G city and analyzed using SPSS 21.0 from March 19, 2018 to March 28, 2018. The results of the study showed that the correctness rate of first aid knowledge was 40.15% and that the relationship between safety consciousness and subcategories of first aid knowledge was significant(r=-.131, p=.025), respiratory and circulatory system(r=.213, p<.001), dressing and bandages(r=.156, p=.008). The purpose of this study is to contribute to the utilization of the basic knowledge of the curriculum to cultivate the ability to cope with safety accidents and to develop and evaluate educational programs to improve the level of first aid.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented the ACE(ACtive Emergency call service system) system for emergency call service actively. ACE system has two physical components; E-Device(Emergency Mobile Device) and E-Server(Emergency Server). The role of E-Device is the mobile device in order to call emergency by using mild handi-capped, the elderly and children who are able to communicate theirs intention to another. E-Server is the server for management E-devices with realtime monitering. E-Device will be developed to the portable size for easily mild handi-capped, the elderly and children. When they need the service of emergency call, the button of E-device can be used and the call signal is transmitted to the emergency office and the guardian through Internet and CDMA. E-server should be developed the integrated control system for management of E-Devices basically. And it also supported to realtime monitoring of E-devices with respect to high quality of emergency call service for rise the efficiency.
