Design of a vegetation type sound barrier was presented as a noise barrier on the boundary of neighborhood facilities including schools, and apartments. The suggested noise barrier is made of unit blocks that are to be formed by stacking over the wall structure containing the plant and soils in the blocks. The advantage of the vegetation noise barrier is to acquire not only sound absorptive effects of plants and soils, but also sound diffusive effect caused by the irregular surface of the barrier which could eventually mitigate the noise. First, the optimum size of the units to obtain the highest noise reduction was investigated using 1/10 scaled model experiment, and sound attenuation experiments were carried out using a 1/2 mock-up model which is 2 m high and 5 m long. Total 1,137 unit blocks were made of synthetic woods with the size of $10{\times}10{\times}9cm$. These unit blocks were installed on the both side of the 1/2 mock-up steel framed noise barrier. As a result, it was revealed that the block typed vegetation noise barrier has 7 dB higher insertion loss in comparison with the general plane noise barrier. Also, it was found that the appropriate size of unit blocks is $20{\times}20cm$ which has large effect of sound insertion loss.
In the search for broadband damping composites, it is desirable to have polymers with a broad and high loss region, covering the entire temperature and frequency range of interest. Interpenetrating polymer networks, IPN's, are materials composed of two or more crosslinked polymers intimately and irrevocably interwinded. The resulting distribution of microenviron-ments can result in a materials with a high mechanical loss broad end over that of either polymer component alone. In this study, several series of copolymer, crosslinked copolymer and copolymer/copolymer IPN's were synthesized for possible use as broadband damping materials. Then their dynamic tensile properties were measured and compared with the damping properties of sandwich composites. Dynamic mechanical analysis showed that the temperature of loss peak may be varied over a wide temperature range with formulation. The compatibility of IPN`s was depended on the compatibility of A and B polymers as well as crosslink density. The damping factor(tan ${\delta}_c$) of composites became greater when a polymer of approximate storage module(E`) range of 5X10$^7$ to 10$^9$ dyne/cm$^2$ and large tan ${\delta}$ at the same time was used. The damping properities of poly (2-EHA80-co-St20)/poly(2-EHA20-co-St80) IPN`s crosslinked with 3%-DEGDM were relatively better over a broad temperature range.
Concentrations of Fe, Zn, Mn, Cd and Pb were determined in the tissues of sixty adult pigeons collected at six colonies in Korea, and examined correlations between elements, and between tissues in feral pigeons. As the results, we found many significant correlations between elements, and between tissues in them, A negative correlation between Cd and Fe concentrations was observed in the kidney, Cd depresses the absorption of Fe from the intestine and, in this way, affects the levels of Fe in particular tissues. This tendency could be expressed in terms of lower hemoglobin and hematocrit values because hematocrit is one of the most sensitive indicators of Cd intoxication. Zn concentrations are strongly associated with higher Cd levels in the kidney and liver. This is thought to be a reflection of the interaction known to occur between these two metals. Zn induction has been shown to antagonize a number of toxic effects of Cd. A positive correlation between Pb and Fe concentrations was detected in the livers at the Busan colony with relatively high Pb and Fe concentrations. Pb has been shown to co-accumulate with Fe in the liver by inhibiting the heme synthesis. Significant correlations, especially in toxic elements, Pb and Cd, were observed for many pairs of tissues. We suggest that these correlations between elements, and between tissues should be considered in biomonitoring for heavy metal pollution.

This study examined the background of the recent global financial crisis and the concept of one of the financial derivatives such as the credit default swap(CDS) or synthetic CDO(collateral debt obligations), given the rapid growing and changing the over-the-counter derivative markets in their volume and structures. In comparison with the previous literature such as the study of Park & Kim (2011), this research empirically performed more thorough and comprehensive investigations to find any financial characteristics or attributes to determine the CDS spreads. Regarding the results obtained from the multiple regression models, the explanatory variables such as STYIELD3, SLOPE, INASSETS, and VOLATILITY, showed their statistically significant effects on all the tested dependent variables(DVs). Another procedure such as the principle component analysis(PCA), was also performed to account for additional IDVs as possible determinants of the dependent variables. Subsequent to this analysis, larger coefficients of each corresponding eigenvector such as BETA, PFT2, GROWTH, STD, and BLEVERAGE were found to be possible financial determinants. For robustness, all the IDVs were employed to be tested in the 'full' regression model with stepwise procedure. As a result, STYIELD3, SLOPE, and VOLATILITY, and BETA showed their statistically significant relationship with all the dependent variables of the CDS spreads.

Recycling process of iron should be developed for efficient recovery of neodymium(Nd), rare metal, from acid-leaching solution of neodymium magnet. In this study, $FeCl_3$ solution as iron source was used for synthesis of iron nanoparticle with the condition of various factors, etc, reductant, surfactant. $Na_4O_7P_2$ and polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) as surfactants, $NaBH_4$ as reductant, and palladium chloride($PdCl_2$) as a nucleation seed were used. Iron powder was analyzed with instruments of XRD, SEM and PSA for measuring shape and size. Iron nanoparticles were made at the ratio of 1 : 5(Fe (III) : $NaBH_4$) after 30 min of reduction time. Size and shape of iron particles synthesized were round-form and 50 nm ~ 100 nm size. Zeta-potential of iron at the 100 mg/L of $Na_4O_7P_2$ was negative value, which is good for dispersion of metal particle. When $Na_4O_7P_2$(100 mg/L), PVP($FeCl_3$ : PVP = 1 : 4, w/w) and Pd($FeCl_3$ : $PdCl_2$ = 1 : 0.001, w/w) were used, iron nanoparticles which are round-shape, well-dispersed, near 100 nm-sized can be made.
To improve the growth inhibitory activity against the shoot and root of rice plant (Oryza sativa L) and barnyard grass (Echinochloa crus-galli), a series of N-substituted phenyl-3,4-dimethylmaleimdes derivatives as substrates were synthesized and then their the inhibitory activities of protoporphyrinogen oxidase (1.3.3.4), protox were measured. The quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR) between structures and the inhibitory activities were studied quantitatively using the 2D-QSAR method. And also, molecular sharp similarity between the substrate derivatives and protogen, substrare of protox enzyme were studied. The activities of the two plants indicated that barnyard grass had a higher activity than the rice plant and their correlation relationships have shown in proportion for each. Accordingly, the results of SARs suggest that the electron donating groups as $R_2=Sub.X$ group will bind to phenyl ring because the bigger surface area of negative charged atoms in the substrate molecule derivatives may increase to the higher the activity against barnyard grass. Based on the molecular shape similarity, when the derivatives and protogen, subsbrate of protox enzyme were superimposed by atom fitting, the similarity indices (S) were above 0.8 level but the correlation coefficients (r) between S values and the activities showed not good.
In this study, imidazolium salt ionic liquid on amorphous silica was prepared and its catalytic performance in the cycloaddition of $CO_2$ with allyl glycidyl ether (AGE) to produce heterocyclic carbonate was investigated. The ionic liquid was generated on chloropropyl functionalized silica through the immobilization of imidazole. The prepared catalyst was characterized using a number of instrumental analysis including XRD, BET, $^{29}Si$ MAS-NMR and SEM. $^{29}Si$ MAS-NMR showed that the ionic liquid formed adduct with the chloropropyl groups attached to the silica surface. The immobilized ionic liquid showed very good catalytic activity for the cycloaddition of $CO_2$ with AGE, showing 55-61% of AGE conversion with over 85% of the carbonate selectivity at $80-120^{\circ}C$. Its AGE conversion and selectivity to the carbonate were even higher than the homogeneous analog, 1-n-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium bromide (BMImBr).
In this paper, we propose an end-to-end deep learning model combining Bayesian neural network with Korean speech recognition. In the past, Korean speech recognition was a complicated task due to the excessive parameters of many intermediate steps and needs for Korean expertise knowledge. Fortunately, Korean speech recognition becomes manageable with the aid of recent breakthroughs in "End-to-end" model. The end-to-end model decodes mel-frequency cepstral coefficients directly as text without any intermediate processes. Especially, Connectionist Temporal Classification loss and Attention based model are a kind of the end-to-end. In addition, we combine Bayesian neural network to implement the end-to-end model and obtain Monte Carlo estimates. Finally, we carry out our experiments on the "WorimalSam" online dictionary dataset. We obtain 4.58% Word Error Rate showing improved results compared to Google and Naver API.
Phytin is a salt(mainly calcium and magnesium) of phytic acid and its purity and molecular formula can be determined by assaying the contents of phosporus, calcium and magnesium in phytin. In order to devise a new method for the quantitative analysis of the three elements in phytin, the chelatometric method was developed as follows: 1) As the pretreatment for phytin analysis, it was ashfied st $550{\sim}600^{\circ}C$ in the presence of concentrated nitric acid. This dry process is more accurate than the wet process. 2) Phosphorus, calcium and megnesium were analyzed by the conventional and the new method described here, for the phytin sample decomposed by the dry process. The ashfied phytin solution in hydrochloric acid was partitioned into cation and anion fractions by means of a ration exchange resin. A portion of the ration fraction was adjusted to pH 7.0, followed by readjustment to pH 10 and titrated with standard EDTA solution using the BT [Eriochrome black T] indicator to obtain the combined value of calcium and magnesium. Another portion of the ration fraction was made to pH 7.0, and a small volume of standard EDTA solution was added to it. pH was adjusted to $12{\sim}13$ with 8 N KOH and it was titrate by a standard EDTA solution in the presence of N-N[2-Hydroxy-1-(2-hydroxy-4-sulfo-1-naphytate)-3-naphthoic acid] diluted powder indicator in order to obtain the calcium content. Magnesium content was calculated from the difference between the two values. From the anion fraction the magnesium ammonium phosphate precipitate was obtained. The precipitate was dissolved in hydrochloric acid, and a standard EDTA solution was added to it. The solution was adjusted to pH 7.0 and then readjusted to pH 10.0 by a buffer solution and titrated with a standard magnesium sulfate solution in the presence of BT indicator to obtain the phosphorus content. The analytical data for phosphorus, calcium and magnesium were 98.9%, 97.1% and 99.1% respectively, in reference to the theoretical values for the formula $C_6H_6O_{24}P_6Mg_4CaNa_2{\cdot}5H_2O$. Statical analysis indicated a good coincidence of the theoretical and experimental values. On the other hand, the observed values for the three elements by the conventional method were 92.4%, 86.8% and 93.8%, respectively, revealing a remarkable difference from the theoretical. 3) When sodium phytate was admixed with starch and subjected to the analysis of phosphorus, calcium and magnesium by the chelatometric method, their recovery was almost 100% 4) In order to confirm the accuracy of this method, phytic acid was reacted with calcium chloride and magnesium chloride in the molar ratio of phytic: calcium chloride: magnesium chloride=1 : 5 : 20 to obtain sodium phytate containing one calcium atom and four magnesium atoms per molecule of sodium phytate. The analytical data for phosporus, calcium and magnesium were coincident with those as determine d by the aforementioned method. The new method employing the dry process, ion exchange resin and chelatometric assay of phosphorus, calcium and magnesium is considered accurate and rapid for the determination of phytin.
This research got the following conclusion as result that analyzed high clear action kinematically to 4 C girls' junior high school badminton players who are situated in Chungchong-bukdo. 1. Most of the subject didn't rotate their right shoulder and elbow joint at back swing and moved speedy to shuttle cock. And an cooperation action of joint decreases displaying only a good action on both subject`s specification joint part. 2. When the subject S1 and S2 swing slowly and largely the joint of shoulder and elbow and then the speed of right wrist and racket head is fast, the cooperation action of joint is better than other subject. 3. An angle change of right shoulder showed angle that all subjects are great being caused in softness of joint and angular velocity was exposed that load enough Impact force and increase the speed of racket head as angular velocity decreases rapidly in Impact except subject S3. 4. All subjects of right elbow angle change showed similar form and was exposed that subject S2 sees form of impact stage serious bends from back swing and do not use force effectively in angular velocity. 5. Angle of right wrist appeared that the speed of shuttle cock is decelerated because fast bends of wrist is not formed shortly after Impact because all subject do not accomplish big angle shortly after back swing. Angular velocity can assume that the subject S1 and S4 are using and move fast strong snap shot offering angular velocity value of Impact stage sound (-). 6. While size of Impact stage knee angle accomplishes angle that is big both subject, hip joint angles sees small angle and is playing swing that do on upper body and arm without using strong waist force that is composition action with knee and hip joint.
