This study purposed to investigate harmonic compositions and progressions that are appropriate for emotion vocabulary. In study 1, eight(8) professional music therapists were asked to provide harmonic compositions and progressions reflecting the tonal characteristics of emotion vocabulary and the rationales. Various attributes of harmonic compositions and progressions were examined and the content analysis were administered. In study 2, the obtained data on study 1 were evaluated by 124 music therapy and music majors for the validity. In the first study, analyzed results showed that 'happy' vocabulary utilized major, tonic, consecutive chord changes, 'angry' vocabulary utilized minor, augmented, $9^{th}$, $11^{th}$, unsolved $7^{th}$ chord progression, 'sad' vocabulary utilized minor, diminish, chromatic chord progressions. In the second study, there was statistically significant difference with 'happy' vocabulary. These results can provide basic evidences for musical ideas of harmonic compositions and progressions to better communicate emotional aspects of lyrical messages when composing melody in a song.

In this study, in order to provide an app with improved usability to users in the trend of gradually increasing the number of users of music streaming services, usability tests were conducted by conducting interviews before and after the execution of the screen test technique and the performance measurement method and contextual. Usability test was conducted using the Inquiry method. Usability tests were conducted by one user each from their teens to their 50s, and were conducted on Melon, YouTube Music, Genie, and FLO apps with many service users. As a result of the usability test, the icon does not sufficiently represent the function and is not recognized as an interactive button, which is overlooked by the user, the problem that the user does not recognize due to lack of visual effect when the function is activated, The problem was derived. In this regard, suggestions for improving the user screen, such as intuitively changing the icon for each app, adding a visual effect of the screen when the function is activated, and adjusting the position so that the function has continuity, were presented along with the visual data.

"lux et sonitus" is an audiovisual art exhibition series with an artistic combination of music and video at its center. Since its first introduction in 2013, the series have been held five times under the theme of "exhibition of music", presenting works featuring both audio and visual media in an effort to explore the key issues in the field of audiovisual art. In addition to the previous achievement of the exhibition, recent works from the series feature new concepts that explore the possibility of expanding the realm of synesthesia. In this paper, details of the entire series are summarized. In addition, theoretical background behind creative results of the series is analyzed in the context of music, synesthesia and space found in Nam June Paik's audiovisual artwork as a source of inspiration. This will contribute to establishing a vision for the creation/analysis of audiovisual art in the future.

Due to the growth of digital media technology, there is increasing demand of personalized education based on context data of learners throughout overall education area. For music education, several studies have been conducted for providing appropriate educational contents to learners by considering some factors such as the proficiency, the amount of practice, and their capability. In this paper, a technique has been defined to recommend the appropriate music scores to learners by extracting and analyzing the practice data and chord data. Concretely, several meaningful relationships among chords patterns and learners were analyzed and visualized by constructing the learners' profiles of proficiency, extracting the chord sequences from music scores. In addition, we showed the potential for use in personalized education by analyzing music similarity, learner's proficiency similarity, learner's proficiency of music and chord, mastered chords and chords sequence patterns. After that, the chord practice programs can be effectively generated considering various music scores using the synthetically summarized chord sequence graphs for the music scores that the learners selected.

The purpose of this study was to investigate if a positive psychological-based music therapy program for gambling addicts' families, causes explicit or implicit attitude change towards gambling addicts. The study focused on families with gambling addicts, who use counseling centers for gambling addiction, or participate in GAM-ANON (GA). The experimental group (n=11) participated in 8 sessions of a positive psychology-based group music therapy program, and the control group (n=8) participated in 8 sessions of personal counseling, or GA family gatherings. To confirm treatment effectiveness, the attitude towards the family relationship, was measured by the explicit (Family Relation Scale) and Implicit Association Task (IAT) methods. Additionally, change in emotions including and anger (PANAS, HBDIS), was measured. Results of the study showed that positive emotions increased significantly, in the positive psychotherapy-based music therapy group compared, to the control group. However, in the treatment group with implicit attitudes, the rate of association of negative words with families accelerated significantly, suggesting that gambling addicts' families may have higher negative emotions. For the future, we discussed the necessity of providing a treatment program, that can directly lead to changes in attitudes of family members of gambling addicts.

In order to prolong the Shin-Hallyu and make a significant leap forward, we analyzed the characteristics of Jambinai, Singsing Band, and Ackdan Gwangchil, bands that are recognized globally for their musicality and popularity. First, the socio-cultural background behind the world's attention on korean traditional music lies in the racial and cultural diversity that embraces the non-mainstream identity. In particular, the success of Korean traditional music fusion bands in non-Asian countries can satisfy their public seeking to enjoy an exotic culture that is different from Western culture. it is necessary to recognize cultural, social and musical differences depending on the country or ethnicity and to approach them accordingly. Second, in the same Asian region, Korean traditional music is not given a sense of homogeneity, but in the West, the Eastern heterogeneity seems to have become a stronger ompetitive edge. With the expansion of the new Korean Wave to various regions, it is necessary to try to form a regional repertoire. Third, we found the validity of the convergence with the new Korean Wave through the characteristics of Gugak musicians as the main body to build a world of traditional music and enable popularization and globalization. It is necessary to highlight korea's traditional cultural value through analytical research on the effects of tone, composition and directing techniques reflected in korean traditional music or musical elements. The uniqueness and Korean values provided by Gugak will serve as homogeneity in Asia and heterogeneity in Europe and the United States, presenting the possibility of New Hallyu content and contributing to the prolonged Korean Wave.

This study was examined the effect and the continuity of music therapy for reduce on post-traumatic stress (PTS) in 119 emergency medical technicians (EMTs). The subjects of the study were 42 EMTs in the C area, and the study was conducted from November 25, 2019 to March 1, 2020. The experimental group conducted a total of ten music therapy programs twice a day for five days. The session-specific program was conducted by two music therapists, including the early, mid, late, and closed stages. Each step applied intervention techniques necessary for goals such as improvisation, rhythm making, Nanta, and couple physical activities. The control group was required to take a free break (TV viewing, cell phone games, sleep, exercise, etc.) at the same time as the experimental group's program. The study found that the control group had no difference in PTS before and after the application of music therapy, but the experimental group had a significant decrease in PTS immediately after the application of music therapy and a gradual increase in PTS after 4 and 12 weeks (p<.05). Repetitive music therapy is judged to be an effective way to mitigate the PTS leve for EMTs.

This paper is aimed at more carefully studying C. P. E. Bach's Fugues, which have been relatively less appreciated in his study. Fugue is the most sophisticated music with its highly contrapuntal texture, and it is often paired with the contrasting Prelude or Fantasia. C. P. E. Bach introduces an unprecedented attempt by merging seemingly contrasting Fugue and Improvisational passages into one piece of music rather than simply placing the two music pieces side by side. In his unprecedented attempt, the basic concept and typical form of Fugue are roughly maintained, but the insertion of improvisational performance techniques in both the subject and the detailed progression takes great importance. This Study examines the connection of C. P. E. Bach's Fugue and Improvisational Techniques by analyzing his 7 Fugues.

This study aims to develop an Orff musical activity program based on interpersonal care for children from multicultural families in South Korea. The Orff music activity program based on interpersonal care consists of a program that can control ego-resilience, peer relationships, happiness, anxiety, and stress, and was developed based on the Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation (ADDI) model. As a result, a ten-session program was developed based on the expressive area of care, theme, goal, interpersonal care technique, Orff technique. The research results of the developed program show that interpersonal care nursing can be effective for children from multicultural families, and this program can be used as an intervention to improve children's mental health.

This paper intends to propose a technology for recommending convergence/composite art playlist contents that are fused with tags suitable for the user's situational information and taste to users for non-face-to-face art appreciation education. For the implementation of the proposed technology, the characteristics of works of art are analyzed, and related music and works of art are matched based on the tags of the analyzed works. In addition, we would like to propose a technology that automatically creates content for fusion and complex art viewing playlists using matched works.
