The war that broke out on October 7, 2023 is prolonging and expanding into the Middle East. Although the damage from war is increasing, humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip has been halted due to UNRWA's deviant actions. Powerful countries have suspended support, and the UN is appealing for support for the Gaza Strip. All damage is borne by civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially women, children, and the elderly. Israel has selected an evacuation zone and evacuation route in the Gaza Strip and established a humanitarian aid route in the border area. However, Hamas's resistance in underground tunnels, using civilian-dense areas and civilian facilities such as hospitals and schools as shields, further amplified civilian casualties. This Israel-Hamas war requires the international community to approach it from a human security perspective. We must strengthen the UN's functions and roles to ensure that humanitarian supplies reach the field and humanitarian intervention forces ensure human dignity and basic rights. We must restore the credibility of the UN's role through the Israel-Hamas war. In addition, Korea should urge the introduction of humanitarian aid and goods, and provide humanitarian goods such as daily necessities and medicine. We must also prepare for deployment as a member of the UN peacekeeping force in the future. These activities will help Korea develop into a model country that fulfills its role as a 'global pivotal nation' and will have a virtuous cycle of international support in the event of a future crisis on the Korean Peninsula.

In this study, we investigated the current status of written discourse mediation in a more general and in-depth manner, including the training completion experience and knowledge of written discourse mediation among Speech-Language Pathologists in Korea, and the Speech-Language Pathologists' perceptions of written discourse mediation. We wanted to look into the requirements. Research results were derived through a questionnaire answered by 110 Speech-Language Pathologists. As a result, although most Speech-Language Pathologists learned about written discourse intervention in the curriculum, their application of written discourse intervention in clinical settings is insufficient and they have difficulty with written discourse intervention due to lack of systematic and professional knowledge of this intervention. I could tell that I was feeling it. Looking at the status of written discourse intervention, only 46.4% of the Speech-Language Pathologists who responded in clinical settings showed that they had experience with written discourse intervention. In other words, it was analyzed that 53.6% of respondents had no experience with writing discourse mediation. As a result of Speech-Language Pathologists' perception and demand for written discourse intervention, 76.4% of SpeechLanguage Pathologists responded that they thought written discourse intervention was an important area of speech therapy. In addition, 62.8% of respondents responded that a curriculum for discourse mediation is necessary, more than 90% said that continuous research on written discourse mediation is necessary, and 89.1% thought that the development of textbooks and teaching aids was necessary.This study is significant in that it investigated the experiences and perceptions of Speech-Language Pathologists in written discourse intervention and analyzed the results in that it provided direction on how education and various processes related to written discourse intervention should be conducted.

The purpose of this study is to present the direction of teacher training to the future society by analyzing the key directions for teacher training announced by the Teacher Education and Training Department of the Ministry of Education for the past three years (2021, 2022, and 2023). The research results are as follows. First, there has been no change in the background for teacher training over the past three years. The background for the promotion of teacher training over the past three years is to increase teacher expertise, respond to the future environment, improve the quality of teacher training, and secure momentum for educational policy. The details of the background for the promotion have also remained unchanged over the past three years. Second, the teacher training vision for the past three years is innovation in the teacher training system. To this end, the vision is to lead changes in the future educational environment in 2021, to lead future public education in 2022, and to provide customized educational support for individual students in 2023. In terms of training goals, in 2021, the goal is to continuously develop professionalism appropriate for the life stage of teachers and enhance teacher core competencies suitable for the future educational environment, and in 2022, to strengthen teacher capabilities appropriate for the future education system and secure social trust through enhancing teacher training. In 2023, the focus is on changing classroom teaching through strengthening teacher capabilities suitable for the future education system and improving teacher training. There are three main directions for teacher training over the past three years. First, customized training support, second, strengthening the future training system, and third, improving teacher training. These three are all similar over the past three years. In conclusion, there has been no significant change in the direction of teacher training over the past three years.

The Ministry of Education announced the main points of the 2022 revised curriculum on November 24, 2021. Democratic citizenship education to foster citizenship appears as one of the detailed tasks among the key tasks of the 2022 revised curriculum. We are promoting democratic citizenship education to foster citizenship. Therefore, what does democratic citizenship education specifically mean and what does it consist of? There is a need to look into what methods this should be used for. The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of democratic citizenship education revealed in the 2022 revised curriculum. The contents of democratic citizenship education for the cultivation of citizenship revealed in the general discussion of the 2022 revised curriculum are analyzed as follows. First, it means education related to democracy and social issues. The specific contents of democracy and social issues are ① peace, ② human rights, ③ gender equality, and ④ cultural diversity. Second, critical thinking education. Third, media literacy education is necessary because democratic citizenship education must respond appropriately to the times in line with social changes such as the emergence of Chat GPT. Fourth, while emphasizing democratic decision-making education, it includes social empathy and communication education. Fifth, it contains local and national community participation and practical education as a method for citizen participation and practice. As described above, democratic citizenship education was specified in the general introduction of the 2022 revised curriculum. In order to carry out such democratic citizenship education systematically, it is necessary to establish the principles of democratic citizenship education.

This study examines the drama "Still in Marronnier Park"(2005) to examine the strategies by which the drama communicates Korean society and literature of the 1960s to the public. The drama focuses on three characters to characterize the historical upheavals of the 1960s and the literary response. In particular, the drama tackles the historical events of the time head-on by introducing characters who are real-life politicians. Therefore, the drama explains historical events through narrators, interviews, and video footage, and at the same time, it helps us understand how political and social events affected the inner lives of Koreans. Through the narratives of Kim Ji-ha and Kim Seung-ok, the drama also conveys how Korean literature responded to unjust realities in the political and social context of the 1960s. Kim Ji-ha's rebellion against those in power and Kim Seung-ok's depiction of her inner landscape are used to portray the response of literature to political reality. Although the drama has the limitation of being somewhat typical, it raises meaningful questions about the meaning of literature in the political and social context of the 1960s and how the memory of the 1960s has left a trace in the minds of Koreans.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of children's robot-based play on sequential thinking through appreciation of picture books. For this purpose, 15 children aged 5 years old in each kindergarten located in Seoul were selected and J kindergarten (experimental group) supported <Picture book appreciation robot play> and C kindergarten (comparison group) supported <Picture book appreciation free play>. In order to examine the difference in play experience between the two groups, the score data before and after play support was collected using the sequential thinking test tool, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 28.0 program to perform ANCOVA (Covariance Analysis). As a result, the experimental group that experienced robot-based play through picture book appreciation showed significant improvement in the total score of sequential thinking and the sub-areas of dynamics, behavior, and intention compared to the control group.The results of this study are valuable as a play study to discover the value of robots as a creative play medium led by young children and to promote sequential thinking ability, which is emphasized as the capacity of future society.

In this study, we sought to confirm the potential of the Chaetomorpha torta extract as a raw material for cosmetics. Accordingly, we sought to find the optimal extraction conditions for Chaetomorpha torta by ethanol concentration and to check whether it has an anti-inflammatory effect by confirming the inhibitory effect of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6). The main contents of the experiment results are as follows. First, when DPPH radical scavenging ability and polyphenol yield were used as the criteria for optimal extraction conditions of Chaetomorpha torta, 70% concentration ethanol extract was most suitable. Second, as a result of cytotoxicity evaluation using Raw 264.7, no cytotoxicity was observed at concentrations below 100 ㎍/mL. Third, as a result of measuring the inhibitory effect of pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 in LPS-induced Raw 264.7 cells, the production of all cytokines decreased in proportion to the concentration, and 100 ㎍/mL It was confirmed that the concentrations were 73.76±2.6%, 84.8±2.42%, and 91.91±0.47%, respectively, showing excellent anti-inflammatory properties. According to these research results, it appears that the extract of the Chaetomorpha torta can be valuable as a raw material for cosmetics with anti-inflammatory properties, and if research on antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory activities related to green algae is conducted more actively, marine resources can be used as useful basic data. It is believed that it will be.

This study conducted voluntary focus group user observations to empirically validate the efficacy of the self-developed psychological support mobile application, "Mindful Now". The app is structured as an interactive game format, enabling individuals to activate self-awareness of mindfulness states anytime, anywhere. It consists of a 3-step process of sensory/emotional/consciousness awareness, facilitating the expression of non-judgmental awareness. To demonstrate the effectiveness of this mindful activation in enhancing psychological well-being such as happiness and stress reduction, voluntary mindfulness mobile app usage was tracked among 49 university students. The results revealed significant improvements, with a 14.4% increase in SWLS happiness index and a 17.1% decrease in PSS-10 stress levels among 12 users who used the app continuously for over 60 days to practice mindfulness awareness. Particularly, higher app engagement was observed among students who initially reported relatively lower indices before using the app. The utilization of mobile apps that promote mindful activation aligns with various therapeutic paradigms based on mindfulness and meditation, contributing to advancements in digital therapeutic interventions for psychological support.

Software as a Service (SaaS) has become one of the fastest-growing software business models in recent years. Even during the economic downturn following the pandemic, the SaaS business has emerged as a crucial model for IT companies. The revenue structure of SaaS, which is based on the subscription economy model, ensures that users pay only for the services used. In other words, SaaS operates on a subscription-based billing model, thus providing subscribers access to software uploaded to cloud computers via the Internet. This study aimed to explore the manner by which software-solution firms have to counteract the decline in profit and loss sales caused by changing their business-model orientation from on-premise deployment software to subscription-based software. Additionally it analyzes a method for selecting a subscription-based pricing model and rapidly recovering the investment costs via quantitative business-viability assessment. By calculating subscription fees via a more quantitative business-viability evaluation instead of focusing on conventional business-planning methods that rely on qualitative methods, companies are expected to be equipped in providing services to customers at reasonable costs. This strategy will facilitate them in leading emerging growth sectors.

A recently proposed rapid-disassembly , carbon-minimized dismantle connection was tested using cyclic loading. To better understand the behavior of the test specimen, three-dimensional finite element (3D-FE) analyses were conducted using a "tied model" (bolted contact surfaces are tied together) and a "bolt-slip model" (contact surfaces slip and separate). The tied model suggests that plastic hinging of the beam occurs if the proposed connection behaves rigidly. The bolt-slip model suggests that the proposed connection, if manufactured and assembled properly, can dissipate energy to about 0.5 times that experienced by a rigid connection. However, when compared in a test, its moment-rotation hysteresis curve does not match well, which suggests that the low performance of the test specimen is attributable to a manufacturing deficiency. Regardless, the results corroborate the pinching phenomenon observed in the experimental hysteresis and fracture failure of the test specimen.
