The Complex relationship between employment stress and avoidance coping styles for college students (대학생들의 취업스트레스와 회피대처방식의 융복합적인 관련성)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between job stress and coping style in college students. Participants were 314 students in a college. Data were collected using a self administered questionnaire. The survey was conducted from May 02, 2018 to May 28, 2018. There were statistically significant correlations between personality stress, family environmental stress, academic stress, school environment stress and emotion - centered coping style among sub - variables of job stress, Job anxiety stress was significantly correlated with social support seeking and emotion - centered coping style. Since college students' emotional stress coping style is related to depressive emotional and physical health problems, it is necessary to provide a psychological treatment program for early detection and coping with psychological support services, and a mixed service such as education, lecture, and camp. In addition, it is thought that strategic action skill training (plan, method, and technology) is needed to change from emotion - centered coping style to problem - solving style.

How to apply foldable display interaction to smart device (폴더블 디스플레이 인터랙션의 스마트 디바이스 적용방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study intends to present the most optimal interaction in association with available functions if the foldable display is applied to smart devices. For this, I have looked into the flow of development, morphological features and the application areas of the foldable display based on review literature. I have also established five principles of interaction applicable to the foldable display through the study on the concept and characteristics of foldable display interactions and previous research cases. Next, I have conducted user surveys to find the most optimal interactions with the functions of smart devices taken into account. Prior to user surveys, I have classified foldable display interactions into 36 categories based on the five interaction principles of the foldable display. In addition, I have selected 17 major functions of regular smart devices based on relevant documents. Lastly, utilizing concrete interaction methods and functions obtained in this manner, I have conducted user surveys based on the relationship among multiple relevant factors and chosen the interaction method that acquired the highest frequency and score as the most optimal one whose detailed description has been provided as well.

Improvements for Ordering and Bidding of VE in Convergence Era (융복합시대 설계의 경제성 등 검토(VE) 발주 및 입찰시 문제점과 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • The author of this study conducted a survey with the expert groups who are currently handling hands-on works in convergence cities, ordering organizations, construction management companies, contractors, schools and research institutes, etc. The results of empirical analysis can be summarized as follows: First, there is no difference in distribution among the problems with position and the bidding system of private contracts. Second, there is relevance between position and the adequacy of current design VE ordering system, indicating different recognition. Third, there is no difference in distribution between organizations and the adequacy of current design VE ordering system. Fourth, there is difference in distribution between organizations and service price adequacy and there is difference in recognition by organization when organizations mutually recognize the service price adequacy. Fifth, there is difference in distribution between career and the necessity of the participating companies' qualification. Sixth, there is difference in distribution for the adequacy of career and the adequacy of participating companies' requirements. No problems have been found with the adequate service period according to private contract bidding system, but the necessity of participating companies' qualification and participating companies' requirements.

  • Convergence-based Smart Work in Korea started from 2010 with a purpose to improve work-life balance. Up to now the previous research on Smart Work has been studied in the context of the pre-adoption or the adoption stage, and shows some limitations not finding out the effort to manage change, the issues occurred in the process of adopting Smart Work, and the performance after adopting Smart Work. The period after adoption is when users continue to use ICT and intended objectives can be accomplished. Therefore, this study investigated the process that the organizations adopting Smart Work have overcome spatial and temporal constraints and the performance that they have achieved after adopting it. Though the framework integrating time-geography theory with technology acceptance stage, this research interviewed four managers of three organizations being responsible for adopting and operating Smart Work and provided its adopting process and performance of each organization.

A Study of Convergence Modem Design for Giga Internet Service over CATV Network (CATV 망에서의 기가 인터넷 서비스를 위한 융복합 모뎀 설계에 관한 연구)

  • This paper aims to propose a novel technology of network convergence to provide ultra high speed internet services over CATV networks, by which a CMC(cable modem concentrator) and CM(cable modem) of 1Gbps level are designed. This technology not only lowers the production cost in comparison to the existing bonding technology with DOCSIS specification but also enables the adjustment of data speed based on the channel bandwidth. According to the experiments, when convolutional code rate with 128QAM is changed to 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 and 7/8, the data recorded the maximum transmission speed of up to 299 Mbps at the zero error rate. As the convolutional code rates with 256QAM is increased, it showed 334Mbps at the error rate of $10^{-5}$. Based on the findings of this paper, if we secure the channel bandwidth of 200MHz and adjust the modulation order of QAM and the convolution code rate depending on the channel status, we can get the transmission speed of more than 1Gbps, which is much more competitive in its function and price than the existing technology based on DOCSIS.

Analysis for the Stability of a Haptic System with the Computational Time-varying Delay (가변적인 계산시간지연에 의한 햅틱 시스템에서의 안정성 영향 분석)

  • This paper presents the effects of the computational time-varying delay on the stability of the haptic system that includes a virtual wall and a first-order-hold method. The model of a haptic system includes a haptic device model with a mass and a damper, a virtual wall model, a first-order-hold model and a computational time-varying delay model. In this paper, the maximum of the computational time-varying delay is assumed to be as much as the sampling time. Using the simulation, it is analyzed how the sample-hold methods and the computational time-varying delay affect the maximum available stiffness. As the maximum of computational time-varying delay increases, the maximal available stiffness of a virtual wall model is reduced.

Effects of Data-hold Methods on Stability of Haptic System (데이터 홀드 방식에 따른 햅틱 시스템의 안정성 분석)

  • This paper presents the effect of data-hold methods on stability of haptic system with a virtual wall. When a human operator interacts with virtual wall, the lager the stiffness of the virtual wall is, the more realistic the operator feels that the virtual wall is. However, if the stiffness of the virtual wall becomes extremely large, the system may be unstable. When a virtual wall is designed, it is necessary to analyze the maximum available stiffness to guarantee a stable haptic interaction. The simulation model in this paper is developed based on the haptic device model, sampler, a virtual wall model, and data hold methods to compute the maximum stiffness for stability. The effectiveness of the simulation is evaluated through comparing the results of previous studies with the results of this simulation. In addition, the effects of two data hold methods, that is, zero-order hold (ZOH) and first-order hold (FOH) on the stability are analyzed and the values of the maximum available stiffness are compared through the simulation.

Effects of a Human Impedance and a First-Order-Hold Method on Stability of a Haptic System with a Virtual Spring Model (인간 모델과 1차 샘플-홀드 방식이 가상 스프링 모델 시스템의 안정성에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • When a human operator interacts with a virtual wall that is modeled as a virtual spring model, the lager the stiffness of the virtual spring is, the more realistic the operator feels that the virtual wall is. In the previous studies, it is shown that the maximum available stiffness of a virtual spring to guarantee the stability can be increased when the first-order-hold method is applied, however the effects of a human impedance on the stability are not considered. This paper presents the effects of a human impedance on stability of haptic system with a virtual spring and a first-order-hold (FOH) method. The human impedance model is modeled as a linear second-order system model. The relations between the maximum available stiffness of a virtual spring and the human impedance such as a mass, a damping and a stiffness are analyzed through the MATLAB simulation. It is shown that the maximum available stiffness is proportional to the square root of the human mass or damping respectively.

According to the survey, air quality management at the multi-use facility is less than 50% satisfied. In this study, a photocatalytic filtration system is developed by utilizing a broadband-to-active photocatalyst that utilizes a media photocatalyst filter that removes airborne germs from indoor air as well as indoor air quality and operates on visible light as well as ultraviolet light.

  • 최근 IT 및 사이니지 기술을 포함한 여러 기술의 발전 형태가 융복합적 기술의 방향으로 전환됨으로서, 기술 간 장벽이 허물어지고, 상호 연관성을 갖게 됨에 따라 사이니지 및 IT기술이 접목된 새로운 융복합 기술에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 특히, LED 광원의 일종인 사이니지를 이용하여 광 데이터를 전송할 수 있는 기술에 대한 연구가 학계, 연구소 및 관련 산업체 등에서 지속적으로 진행되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 LED 전광판 사이니지를 이용하여 무선광통신이 용이한 LED 소재에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. LED 전광판 사이니지를 이용한 무선광통신 기술은 LED 광원이 지닌 특성을 토대로 RF방식 대비 높은 주파수 대역과 고속의 데이터 전송이 가능하기 때문에 높은 잠재력과 파급력을 통하여 무선통신 분야에서의 새로운 통신 척도로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.
