  • The results of the present study on corporate social responsibility activities have different results for each researcher. This is considered to be the influence of the moderated variables depending on the relations among the variables. The purpose of this study is to propose anti-corporate emotion as a variable to moderate the relationship between social responsibility activities and outcome variables and to investigate its influence. The results and implications are as follows. Ethical responsibility activities and discretionary responsibility activities had effects on corporate attitude and corporate attitude affects consumers' purchase intention. This is consistent with many previous studies, which means that it is necessary to create a positive psychology for a firm or product in order to induce consumer behavior. In addition, in the group with high anti-corporate emotions, the effect is not significant even if the company has a lot of discretionary activities, but if the ethical responsibility is done, the negative attitude toward the company can be alleviated even if the anti- corporate emotion is high. This explains why many companies now have social contribution activities as an alternative to reduce the corporate crisis, but the effect is insufficient. Therefore, companies that want to carry out social responsibility activities should be interested first in the ethical management or ethical responsibility activities of companies.

Following the group were college students, and then office workers. Fifth, research on the level of satisfaction according to consumers' job showed that there was not a significant difference. The limitations and suggestions of this research were as the following. First, this study could go over each corporate image according to distributor type and characteristics. Due to the vast development of distribution industry, the companies can be classified according to the various types. Therefore, we propose the corporate image of each distributors to be checked, and furthermore, to verify which image of the different types of distributors has positive influence on consumer attitude. Second, PB products should have various perceived quality. However, in this research, it has not been verified which specific factors among the various perceived quality of PB products has a more meaningful influence on consumer attitude. • This paper attempted to empirically analyze whether or not ethical behavior at the individual level has a positive effect on both companies and employees. In addition, based on the social exchange theory, a hypothesis was established that perceived supervisory support has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between ethical behavior, job satisfaction, and job performance. As a result of analyzing a questionnaire given to 238 sales employees, It was first verified that ethical behavior by sales staff had a positive effect on job satisfaction and performance, as expected in the hypothesis. Second, the moderating effect of perceived supervisory support was significant only in the relationship between the ethical behavior of the salesperson and job performance. On the other hand, the moderating effect of perceived supervisory support on the relationship between ethical behavior and job satisfaction was not verified. Based on the results of this study, the implications and future directions of study are presented.

  • Consumers have been increasing their interests in firms' ethicality as well as in the features of the firms' products when they decide to purchase a certain product. Recently, fair trade is considered to be a type of ethical marketing in the business-to-consumer market. In this regard, the effects of fair trade-based marketing on firm performance have become the center of academic and managerial concerns. Despite this importance, few studies have investigated whether fair-trade is a source of competitive advantage or just a cost of doing business. The present research attempts to provide evidence of how fair trade-based marketing influences competitive advantage. Two experimental studies were conducted to explore consumers' purchase intention, which can be a proxy of competitive advantage, in a foreign product-consumption context. Drawing on the stakeholder theory, the first study was performed to examine the effects of fair trade marketing on consumers' purchase intention through a within-subjects design. In addition, building on the signal theory, the second study was executed to test the effects of a fair trade mark on consumers' purchase intention. The findings of the current research reveal that consumers prefer fair trade-based products to others and that when it comes to fair trade-certified products, consumers are more likely to purchase products with that certification than otherwise, even when those products are sold at higher costs than rival products. Interestingly, the results of this research present that there is a significant difference of consumers' purchase intention of a fair trade-based product between two different marketers. This implies that fair trade-based products should be differentially distributed and targeted at a certain type of consumers.
