Reservoir Operation for Water Quantity and Quality using KModSim (KModSim을 이용한 수량.수질의 저수지 운영계획)

  • 수자원의 지속적 확보기술개발사업의 장단기 저수지 연계운영 및 수질개선 방안 연구에서 개발 중인 범용 하천유역관리 모형인 KModSim은 그 수행속도와 모델 구성의 편이성으로 인해 하천의 수요처와 다수개의 저수지를 포함하는 대단위 유역에 적용이 용이하다. 본 연구에서는 현재 한국수자원공사에서 저수지 운영계획에 사용하고 있는 저수지 운영 기준수위를 바탕으로 하천유지용수와 수질개선용수를 확보하는 방안을 검토하였다. 우선 수량과 수질을 고려한 저수지 운영계획을 수립하기 위하여 기존의 수량만을 분배하는 물배분 시스템을 바탕으로 방류량에 증가에 따라 수질개선을 유도할 수 있도록 수질 개선 용수 수요노드를 추가하였다. 이때 유역내의 저수지의 기준수위와 하천의 하천유지용수 및 용수수요노드의 우선순위의 설정에 따라 deficit supply 방식의 물분배가 가능하게 하였으며 이를 통해 꼭 필요한 유량이 발생 할 때 유량을 공급할 수 있도록 모형을 설정 하였다. 반면 방류량에 따른 수질개선 효과를 분석하기 위하여 과거의 수질 측정자료의 상관성을 분석하여 다중회귀분석 모형을 개발하였다. 개발된 모형은 방류량의 증가에 따른 수질개선 효과를 분석할 수 있는 모형으로 특정시점에 있어서 특정 수질 매개변수의 농도를 예측할 수 있으며 적정수준 이하의 수질 농도를 유지하기 위하여 필요한 방류량을 계산하도록 하였다. 이러한 수질 개선을 위한 공급 시나리오는 기존의 용수 우선의 시나리오 분석과 더불어 운영자에게 다양한 정보를 제공하여 보다 효율적 저수지 운영계획이 수립될 수 있도록 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Application of the Main Algorithm of Pavement Management System For the Korea Expressway System (고속도로 포장유지관리체계 논리적용)

  • Maintenance cost for managing the whole network of Expressway system in Korea increases rapidly with the increase of the total length of the system. Implementation of the Pavement Management System(PMS) is essential for efficient management of the Expressway with a limited budget. The purpose of this study is to develop the main algorithm of PMS for Korea Expressway System and to associate the algorithm with database and the Highway Geographic Information System(HGIS) recently developed. Emphasis is laid on developing the algorithm as easy as possible, so that the users can use the PMS without practical difficulty. PMS is not the decision maker, but just a supporting system for the user. The algorithm is designed in such a way that the users can modify the decision criteria if necessary. The user is the one who makes the final decision of the priority and the maintenance alternatives. The users can also inquire the current condition of the whole Expressway network in detail by association of the database and the algorithm with HGIS.

  • 하천법에서 정의하고 있는 하천시설은 시설은 제방과 수문을 포함하여 20여종에 달한다. 이 중 하천유지 보수 매뉴얼(국토교통부, 2016)에서 정한 유지관리 대상은 총 14종이며, 국가 및 지방하천 정비와 유지관리에 4대강살리기사업 완료 시점인 2012년 이후 연간 약 1.3조원의 예산을 투입하고 있다. 연간 막대한 예산이 투입되어 관리되고 있는 하천관리의 효율성을 제고하기 위해 하천시설에 대한 생애주기관리기법적용 연구가 진행 중이며 이를 위해서는 하천시설의 성능에 대한 정확한 평가가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 배수통문에 대한 성능평가모델을 산정하는 방법을 제시하였다. 우선적으로 배수통문의 설치년도와 시설물안전등급을 조사하고 등급별 평균사용연수를 산정하고 시설물 성능예측 기본식의 계수를 산정하여 성능평가모델 산정식을 도출하였다. 배수통문 성능평가모델 산정식과 등급별 평균 사용연수를 비교하여 산정식의 적용성을 검증하였다. 본 연구를 통해 하천시설의 사용연수에 따른 성능을 개략적으로 예측하여 유지관리예산 투입의 우선 순위를 결정하는데 기초자료로 활용이 가능하다고 판단된다.

  • Rail transit agencies in Korea have been struggling to set up a performance-based rail facility maintenance plan because there are no formal definition and decision criteria for aging infrastructure. This study investigates the definition of aging infrastructure through extensive literature review and identifies benchmarking criteria through comparison with rail transit facility management systems in Korea and United States. As results, an aging infrastructure should be defined considering both service age and performance level of a facility. The priority of repair/replacement should be also determined with reasonable criteria based on relationship between service age and performance level. To determine the definition and decision criteria, a practicable classification system for aging rail transit needs to be established in accordance with classification system for performance assessment. Furthermore, a comprehensive database needs to be built including useful life, performance level, and maintenance cost of each component of rail transit. It will allow establishing an efficient budget execution plan for aging infrastructure.

  • This paper is aimed to priority evaluation of preliminary cases for IMO -IMS(International Maritime Organization- Information Management System) using fuzzy TOPSIS(Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). To this solve, therefore, this paper extract 24 preliminary cases and select 4 major preliminary alternative cases after analysing the structure of its alternative cases using FSM(Fuzzy Structure Modeling). Also, the weights of evaluation factors determine using AHP which able to keep the consistency when decision-makers assess. In AHP method, but, the numbers of paired comparison incerase as much as the numbers of the comparison items increase and because this evaluation have the many of vagueness, the decision of final ranking is used to fuzzy TOPSIS method which is included TOPSIS and Fuzzy Set Theory. The result are developed as order as Management of IMO Convention Information, Delivery of IMO Convention Information, Total IMO Database, Knowledge Hub of IMO Convention Information in IMO-IMS.

Analysis of Adaptive Cycle Packet Drop and Non-Adaptive Cycle Packet Drop for Congestion Control in Internet (인터넷에서 혼잡제어를 위한 적응적 사이클 패킷 폐기 기법과 비적응적 사이클 패킷 폐기 기법의 분석)

  • Adaptive Cyclic Packet Dropping algorithm (ACPD), and Non-adaptive Cyclic Packet Dropping algorithm (NCPD) are applying stricter drop precedence than that of RIO algorithm. Especially, the ACPD algorithm drops adaptively packets for the congestion control, as predicting traffic pattern between each cycle. Therefore the ACPD algorithm makes up for the drawback of RIO algorithm and minimizes the wastes of the bandwidth being capable of predicting in the NCPD algorithm. And we executed a simulation and analyzed the throughput and packet drop rate based on Sending Priority changing dynamically depending on network traffic. In this algorithm, applying strict drop precedence policy, we get better performance on priority levels. The results show that the proposed algorithms may provide more efficient and stricter drop precedence policy as compared to RIO independent of traffic load. The ACPD algorithm can provide better performance on priority levels and keep stricter drop policy than RIO and the NCPD algorithm.

A Study on the Priority Ranking Algorithm for Bridge Management at Network Level (Network Level을 고려한 교량의 우선순위 산정 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • Bridge structures are properly designed in accordance with the design specifications with required safety margin. However, due to the heavy vehicle traffic and environmental attacks, bridge often requires repairs and the deteriorated one should be replaced or rehabilitated. In this paper, a prior ranking algorithm is proposed to assist a decision making process in bridge management at network level. Based on the literature survey for the existing studuies, two important factors which affect the decision making procedure for bridge management at network level are identified. These factors are implemented into the algorithm as a load carrying capacity function and traffic function, respectively.

Hierarchical Clustering Analysis of Water Main Leak Location Data (상수관로 누수위치 자료를 이용한 계층적 군집분석)

  • Rehabilitation projects for old water mains typically require considerable capital investments. One of the economical ways of pursuing the rehabilitation projects is to focus on a specific area within the entire region under management. In this paper the hierarchical clustering methods that analyze spatial inter-relationship of location data are applied to about 8,000 water leak location data recorded in a case study area from 1992 to 1997. Among the hierarchical clustering methods Single, Complete, and Average Linkage Methods are used to identify clusters of the water leak locations and to divide the area according to the defined clusters. By comparing the clusters identified by the clustering methods, the best clustering method for the case study area is suggested. Prioritization of the area for maintenance is obtained based on the water leak incident intensity for the clustered area using the suggested best clustering method.

Video Storage System based on Priority-Oriented Retrieval and Adapted Buffer Management (우선순위 지향 검색 및 적응형 버퍼관리에 의한 비디오 저장시스템)

  • Video server which stores video streams should serve more users with the requested streams rapidly, satisfying their time constraints. In this paper, we propose the storage system that does not only maintain fast responses but also increase the number of users supported, with satisfying the time constraints characteristics of the video streams. When the video streams are retrieved in storage system under multiple disks environments, it can not only maintain the rapid responses but also can save the disk bandwidth owing to the retrieval based on priority. Also, it utilizes the given buffer capacity efficiently owing to determining the stream segment size heuristically, which is adapted to the buffer capacity Consequentially, these policies can increase the number of users supported. The correctness of the proposed policies is not only analyzed theoretically but also evaluated through simulations.

A Study on Government Support for Logistics Security (물류보안 인증을 위한 정부지원 방안 연구)

  • This study investigates the importance of government's support for logistics security assurance through certification programs. First, the study analyzed priorities among the requirements of logistics firms through Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) and Quality Function Deployment(QFD) approaches. For this process we invited 21 logistics experts to assess the relationships between logistic firms' requirements and government policies regarding logistics security using the house of quality, a set of matrices of QFD. The results of this phase of the study revealed the priorities of logistics firms' goals regarding the diffusion of the government security certification program as follows: integrated logistics security systems(40.3%), strengthening government support systems(32.4%), and operational effectiveness of logistics security certification(27.2%). Second, a relative weights applied QFD method based on AHP was applied to determined the expected outcome of the logistics security certification program. The results indicated as follows: productivity improvement(28.4%), improved level of service(26.7%), logistics cost reduction(21.6%), advanced information systems(19.7%), and improved environmental protection(3.6%). The results of this study provide new insights concerning logistics firms' requirements for supply chain security and the importance of government's support policies through logistics security certification programs.
