연삭기용 유정압 주축의 복합배열에 관한 연구

  • 최근에 상품의 국제경쟁력 강화를 위해서 생산공정 시간의 단축과전문 기능인력의 부족에 대응하는 중소로 트의 다품종 생산 합리화가 기계 제조업 전체에 확산되어 가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 연삭기용 유정압 주 축의 일반적인 형태인 전부, 후부 유정압 베어링의 장착구조 대신에 기존의 정, 동특성을 유지하면서 저가의 전부 유정압베어링과 후부 Angular Contact Ball Bearing의 복합배열 구조를 제시하고 이때의 정적, 동적 성능을 이론적으로 비교, 평가하였다.

  • 유정압베어링은 공기베어링과같은 유막의 평균화 효과를 얻을 수 있어 구성부품의 형상오차보다 우수한 회전정도를 기대 할 수 있으며 상대적으로 높은 강성, 부하용량 및 우수한 감쇠특성을 보유하고 있으면서도 비접촉에 의한 무보수, 반영구적 인 수명등의 장점이 있어 정밀도와 강성이 함께 요구되는 연삭기를 중심으로 공작기계 분야에 활발히 응용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고정밀도가 요구되는 연삭기용 유정압주축을 시작하고 정특성, 회전특성, 열특성등을 실험적으로 해석함으로서 실용화에 필요한 제변수들의 영향을 정량적으로 얻고자 하였다.

Rotational Characteristics of High Precision Spindle Unit with Ball-Hydrostatic Bearing (볼-유정압 복합베어링을 갖는 고정밀 주축의 회전특성에 관한 연구)

  • The spindle unit is core parts in high precision machine tools. Diverse static and dynamic charateristics of spindle unit are needed for special purpose of machine tools. Specially, high damping ability may be very useful to high precision and high speed spindle unit. But commercial bearing system has very low damping value and high stiffness. In this paper, the combined bearing system with ball-hydrostatic bearing is suggested for high damping spindle unit. The suggested bearing system has 30% damping ability more than general ball bearing's. The average rotational accuracy of spindle with combined bearing in working speed is 24% better than with ball bearing. The unbalance rotating experiment in spindle show that rotating error with combined bearing is only half value of with ball bearing.

  • Cylindrical type of self-controlled restrictor are designed for hydrostatic bearing of grinding wheel spindle. Typical hydrostatic journal bearing with the designed restrictor is analytically model. According to the model, the affect of oper-ation parameters, such as, initial cross distance, supply pressure, diameter of two supply holes, pre-load of spring, and clearance between spindle and housing, on bearing stiffness are analyzed. From the results of the analysis, the optimum conditions of operation parameters that maximize the bearing stiffness are estimated.

  • Recently, surface texturing technologies have been widely used in lots of industries to increase the machinery efficiency. In this research, the lubrication characteristics of a crank shaft pin turner bearing with dimples were studied. When increasing the dimples, the load carrying capacity due to the increased pressure was increased because those have sealing effects. Also, the run-out error of the bearing was decreased. Therefore, it is important to consider the depth, the number and the distribution of dimples when designing the hydrostatic journal bearing.

  • 상품의 다양화 추세에 따라 생산형태가 다품종 소량화가 되고 복잡한 가공공정을 갖는 공작물이 꾸준이 증가하고 있어 이를 뒷바침 하는 복합 가공공정과 복합 다기능 공작기계의 기술개발이 어느때 보다 중요한 과제로 등장하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 주축베어링 시스템의 장단점을 보완하여 주축의 정.동특성 및 고속성을 개선할 수 있는 볼베어링과 유정압베어링의 복합베어링 시스템을 주축베어링 으로 제안하고 그 성능을 이론적으로 실험적으로 검증하기 위해 복합베어링 주축과 기존 주축의 동특성 변화를 분석하였다.

  • Machining accuracy of machine tools spindles using the hydrostatic bearing, largely depends on the static stiffness and the thermal deformation of the spindle unit. In this paper, the modelling and static, thermal analysis of the hydrostatic spindles were performed for the relationship between the design variables like the bearing span, overhang, bearing stiffness and static stiffness at spindle. The goal of optimization is the mazimum, static stiffness at spindle nose with lower temperature rise in hydrostatic bearing. Temperature rise of hydrostatic bearing is minimized with the variables of spindle diameter and oil supply pressure. Finally, validity of the proposed algorithm is verified by improving the static, thermal performance of the existing hydrostatic spindles.

  • Hydrostatic bearings are widely used in precision machines due to their high motion guide accuracy, low friction and high load carrying capacity. It is very useful to estimate the moving characteristics of hydrostatic bearings in the design stage. A new method is suggested for the analysis of fluid film in hydrostatic bearings. A combined mesh of 8 node solid elements with negligible deformation resistance and spring-dashpot elements is used in conjunction with the user subroutine of ABAQUS to represent the fluid film. The mesh can be used to capture the deformation of the bearing structure as well as the varying properties of fluid film. Analysis results from the finite element model are compared with theoretical solutions, results from FLUENT analysis and some previous works. With this method, static and dynamic analyses of the system containing the bearings can be performed efficiently.
