Korean electricity market is a Cost-Based Pool (CBP) designed to minimize electricity production cost through cost by providing cost reduction incentives to generators. Generation companies have shown diverse efforts to reduce costs in CBP market such as procuring low-price fuels, installing high efficiency gas turbine and constructing power plants near the heavy-load site. Recently, as a way to improve CBP market, a proposal to exclude no-load cost from System Marginal Price (SMP) and to compensate generators ex post was suggested to Korea Power Exchange. This study analyzes the impact of excluding no-load cost from SMP on the cost reduction incentive of generators. We found that excluding no-load cost from SMP enhances the likelihood of decreasing the cost reduction incentives of LNG combined-cycle generators lying on the price-setting range.

A series of feeding experiments were conducted to study the possible utilization of blood meal as a dietary protein source in growing common carp, Cyprinus carpio. Diets were formulated on isonitrogenous and isocaloric basis of $40\%$ crude protein and 3,640 kcal/kg diet : diet 1 (100 FMP, control), $100\%$ fish meal Protein (FMP) : diet 2 (25 BMP), $75\%$ $FMP+25\%$ blood meal protein (BMP) : diet 3 (50 BMP), $50\%$ $FMP+50\%$ BMP : diet 4 (75 BMP), $25\%$ $FMP+75\%$ BMP : d;et 5 (100 BMP), $100\%$ BMP. As the dietary protein sources, $34.2\%$ of animal protein were supplied by FMP and/or BMP, and approximately $65.8\%$ of plant protein were used. In the first experiment, weight gain and feed efficiency were improved with increased level of blood meal protein in the diets. Weight gain and feed efficiency from fish fed diets 4 and S were significantly higher (P<0.05) than those from fish fed diets 1, 2 and 3. The second experiment was designed as a cross-over study to prove the first experiment's results. This cross-over study shows that weight gain from fish fed diet 5 is greater than that from fish fed diet 1. The third experiment was conducted to compare palatability between diet 1 (100 FMP) and 5 (100 BMP). The data from this palatability study indicated that the palatability of diet 5 was lower than that of diet 1 initially, however, the palatability of iiet 5 was improved and not worse than that of diet 1 within a week. Therefore, these findings may suggest that the fish meal can be replaced with blood meal completely in growing common carp diets.

In this study, the attraction efficiency of the by-pass fishway installed at Dalseong Weir in Nakdong River was assessed according to operation of the attraction waterway by using River2D which is a two-dimensional physical habitat simulation model. The model was calibrated and validated through the measured water elevation. The attraction efficiency of the fishway was evaluated at the low flow condition because the target fish, Zacco platypus (Z. platypus), have moved frequently up and downstream at the spawning season from April to June. From simulation results, it can be deduced that the attraction efficiency at situation of open attraction waterway is superior to that of close attraction waterway. Also it is shown that velocity field at inner region of the fishway is suitable for migration of the fish.

This paper studies the effect of industrial waste water effluent charge reform. The goal of the present effluent charge system is to use environmental resources in an efficient way by charging the cost for removing emitted water pollutants. However, the present system is a type of regulation instead of providing economic incentives to the industry. That is, if a firm emits pollutants greater than the limit, it has to pay an amount greater than the cost of cleaning them taking into account the amount of waste water discharged, region, the number of violation and the level of density of pollutants. However, the excessive fees have resulted in the lowest ratio of revenue-to-effluent charge among all environmental charges. The paper estimates the effect of the change in effluent fee and revenue when the present effluent charge system is converted to one that offers economic incentives. The results show that the amount of waste water effluent charge is about four times larger than the estimated environmental cleaning cost. In addition, the results show that by modifying the effluent charge system, the ratio of revenue to effluent charge can be raised.

본 지침은 하천 횡단시설물을 설치하는 경우, 효율적인 어류 이동을 위한 어도 설계 및 설치 기법을 제시함에 있다. 어도의 설계 조건으로는 상류 이동 어류가 어도입구 이외의 장소에 모여들지 않아야 하고, 이동 어류의 손상이나 극도의 피로를 피하도록 하여야 하며, 어도의 입구에 모인 어류의 어도로의 유인이 용이하여야 한다. 또한 어류가 쉽고 안전하고 신속하게 상류 이동할 수 있어야 한다. 주요 내용으로, 어도의 하류측 돌출 조건, Set back식 어도, 하류 턱 설치, 어도의 하류 끝단의 설계, Notch부의 단면 형상, 어도의 접속 조건, 로프 설치 조건, 어도의 하류부 설치 기법, 강하용 어도의 설계 기법 등을 제시하였다.

현재 국내외의 많은 기업들이 고객과의 효율적인 커뮤니케이션을 위해 IMC 전략을 수립하고 있으며, 최근에는 인터넷 기술과 합쳐져 IMC 전략의 효율성 증대에 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 주택시장에서 두산건설과 인터넷 패션전문업체인 웹넷코리아가 공동으로 We've 아파트 분양과정에서 시행된 on-line과 off-line 판매촉진의 통합적 활용과정과 성과에 대해 설명하였다. Off-line 행사와 함께 진행된 3차례에 걸친 판촉행사는 site traffic 증대, 판촉행사 참여, 그리고 분양현장으로의 고객유인과 구매에 이르기까지 높은 성과를 거둔 것으로 나타났다.

Using unemployment insurance and income-contingent loan (ICL) that conditions repayment by debtors upon their incomes this paper characterizes an efficient income support system for the unemployed, which maximizes their lifetime utilities by effectively enhancing inter-state and inter-temporal consumption-smoothing subject to incentive constraints on the part of the beneficiaries. This paper also emphasizes the generality of the argument for a mix of ICL and subsidy that may be applied potentially to many types of government welfare program.
