오차항이 이분산성을 가지는 일원분류 모형에서 일반 F-검정의 유의수준에 관한 고찰

  • 일원분류 모형에서 표준 F-검정을 하기 위해서는 오차항에 대한 등분산성을 가정한다. 그러나 실제로 이러한 가정은 지켜지기 힘들며, 이에 더불어 관찰치가 각 집단별로 일정하지 않고 불균형한 경우에는 F-검정의 유의수준이 지정된 값을 만족시키지 못하며, 따라서 검정력에 관한 분석은 의미가 없게 된다. 본 연구에서는 등분산성이 지켜지지 않고, 자료가 불균형한 경우, 현실적인 상황에서 일반적으로 사용되는 F-검정의 유의수준 유지라는 문제가 어 떤 변화를 겪게 되는지를 확인하고, 더 나아가 유의수준을 유지하기 위해서는 어떤 식의 조정이 가능한지를 살펴보았다.

Effect of Sea Buckthorn Leaves on Hepatic Enzyme Levels in Streptozotocin Induced Diabetic Rats (비타민나무잎 식이보충과 당뇨흰쥐 간장의 항산화효소 수준에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was designed to examine the effect of sea buckthorn (SBT) leaves on hepatic antioxidative enzyme levels in diabetic rats. Diabetes mellitus was induced in male Sprague-Dawley rats by an injection of streptozotocin (STZ). Sprague-Dawley rats were then fed for four weeks, with experimental groups receiving a modified diet containing 10% or 20% powder derived from SBT leaves. The experimental groups were divided into six groups: a normal (N)-control group, N-SBT 10% and N-SBT 20% treated groups, STZ-control, STZ-SBT 10% and STZ-SBT 20% treated groups. Malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPX), glutathione reductase (GR), glutathione-S-transferase (GST) and xanthine oxidase (XOD) levels were measured in liver cytosol. The results showed that the level of SOD was significantly increased in the N-SBT 20% group but not statistically different in the diabetic group. The level of CAT was significantly higher in the N-SBT 20% group compared to the control group. The level of GPX was significantly increased in the N-SBT 20% group and the diabetic supplementary group. In contrast, the level of XOD was significantly decreased in the diabetic group supplemented with SBT leaves.

Effect of Dietary Supplementation with Bitter Melon on Lipids and Hepatic Enzyme Levels in Streptozotocin Induced Diabetic Rats (여주열매 첨가식이가 당뇨 흰쥐의 지질과 항산화효소 수준에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effect of Momordica charantia L. (bitter melon: BM) on lipid and hepatic antioxidative enzyme levels in diabetic rats. Diabetes mellitus was induced in male Sprague-Dawley rats by injection of streptozotocin (STZ), and rats were fed for 4 weeks with experimental groups divided into four groups: a normal control group, STZ-control and STZ-BM 5% & STZ-BM 10% treated groups. Levels of free fatty acids (FFA), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-chol), triglycerides (TG) in plasma and malondialdehyde (MDA) & protein in liver, catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione-S-transferase (GST), and xanthine oxidase (XOD) were measured in liver cytosol. Level of HDL-chol significantly increased in the STZ-BM 5% diabetic group. TG & FFA levels were significantly higher in all diabetic groups compared to the control group. MDA and protein levels were significantly higher in the STZ-BM 5% group compared to all other experimental group. CAT level was higher in the supplementary group with BM compared to the STZ-control group, although the difference was not significantly different. SOD level was not significant in any experimental groups. GST level was significantly higher in the BM-treated groups compared to the STZ-control group. XOD level was significantly lower in the BM 5% group and significantly decreased in all experimental groups. These results show that supplementation of BM fruit powder may have beneficial effects on diabetic complications and damage caused by oxidative stress.

  • This study was to provide the basic information for the development of thermal weeder which uses LPG as fuel. Weed seeds of Digitaria sanguinalis S. and Portulaca oleracea L. mainly developed in fram and forestry nurseries were used as experimental samples. At different irradiation temperature(60, 80, 100, 150, $200^{\circ}C$), the dffects of weed seed species(digitalis, purslane), condition of seed(dry, soaked), and irradiation time(2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 60, 180, 300 sec) on seed viability were investigated was investigated by examining interaction and main effect of experimental factors. The results showed that viability of weed seed was significantly affected by all irradiation temperature tested. Irradiation time significantly affected on viability of weed seed on all levels of irradiation temperature. also, there were interactions between condition of weed seed and irradiation time on seed viability at each irradiation temperature.

The Effect of Allocation to Third Parties in Increase of Capital on Stock Price of KOSDAQ Firms (코스닥기업의 제3자 배정 증자가 주가에 미치는 영향)

  • The allocation to third parties in increase of capital is increasing in KOSDAQ firms. With this trend, they cause many problems which involves stock price manipulation. Under this condition, this study analyzes stock price reaction by event study to 197 cases of 81 KOSDAQ companies that allocated to third parties in increase of capital between the year of 2007 and 2009. And we find determinants of cumulative abnormal return by using multiple regression. Results of this research are as follows. First, in case of excess return of (-5, +5), it reveals positive excess return significantly at 1% significance level during 4 days before payment day(event day). But it reveals negative excess return significantly at 1% significance level during 5 days after payment day. Second, in case of excess return of (-40, +40), it reveals positive excess return significantly at 1% significance level during 40 days before payment day(event day). But it reveals negative excess return significantly at 1% significance level during 40 days after payment day. Third, in case of excess return of (0, 1 year), it reveals negative excess return significantly at 1% significance level during 1 year after payment day. Fourth, significant determinant of cumulative abnormal return to (-5, +5) was firm size with positive effect. Significant determinants of cumulative abnormal return to (-40, +40) were reserve ratio and debt ratio. Reserve ratio has positive effect But debt ratio has negative effect. Significant determinants of cumulative abnormal return to (0, 1 year) were firm size, debt ratio, reserve ratio. equity ratio to large shareholder. Firm size, debt ratio, equity ratio to large shareholder have negative effect. But reserve ratio has positive effect.

Studies on Development of Optimum Laying Hen Diet during Summer Period (산란계에 대한 하절기 사료 개발에 관한 연구)

  • These studies were conducted to investigate the effects of dietary protein and metabolizable energy(ME) levels on layer performance during summer period. Total 480 ISA Brown egg-type layers ageing 49 weeks housed 2 birds per cage with 4 replictes of 20 birds were employed in this study. Mean environmental temperature over experimental period ranged from 22.3$^{\circ}$to 29.5$^{\circ}C$. The treatments consisted of dietary ME levels of 2500, 2700, 2900kcal/kg of diet containing 15% and 17% protein, respectively, to provide $3{\times}2$factorial design. As metabolizable energy level increased form 2500 to 2900 kcal/kg of diet, daily feed and protein intake, egg production. egg weight, egg mass decreased, but the reverse was true for the daily energy intake, energy requirement and feed costs per kg egg. Feed conversion(kg feed/kg egg) and viability were not affected by the dietary energy levels. However, there were no significant difference in egg production, protein requirement per kg egg, and egg weight between those hens fed 2500 kcal ME/kg diets and those fed 2700 kcal ME/kg diets, and no difference was found in egg weight between those fed 2700 kcal ME/kg and those fed 2900 kcal ME/kg, either. In addition, no specific trend was observed in protein requirement per egg by the different level of metabolizable energy in diets. On the other hand, as dietary protein level increased from 15 to 17%, daily protein in-take, egg production, egg weight, egg mass, and protein requirement and feed costs per kg egg increased, but feed and energy requirement per kg egg decreased, and no significant difference in the daily feed and energy intake and viability were observed among dietary protein levels. It was concluded that metabolizable energy level of 2500 kcal/kg of diet and 17% dietary protein level were considered to be adequate to support the optimum productivity of layers during summer period.

야채를 이용한 soup mix의 제조조건이 야채죽의 물리적 특성 및 관능적 특성에 미치는 영향

  • 야채 soup mix의 제조조건이 야채죽의 물리적 및 관능적 특성에 대한 영향을 조사하였다. Soup mix의 제조조건인 주입액의 양 (쌀 무게에 대한 물의 체적 비), 버섯, 당근 그리고 대파의 첨가량(쌀 무게에 대한 잣의 무게 비)에 따른 물리적 특성과 관능적 특성의 변화를 모니터링 하고자 반응 표면분석법 (response surface methodology, RSM)을 사용하였으며, 이때 실험계획은 중심합성계획법을 적용하였다. 요인변수(Xn)를 중심합성계획에 따라 17실험구로 구분하여 조리실험을 실시하였고, 이들 요인변수에 의해 영향을 받는 반응변수(Yn)는 야채죽의 물리적 특성으로 하여 회귀분석에 사용하였다. 회귀분석에 의한 모델식의 예측에는 SAS (statistical analysis system) program을 사용하였으며, 야채죽의 조리조건이 물리적 및 관능적 특성에 미치는 영향은 SAS program을 이용한 3차원 반응표면분석법으로 해석하였다. 야채의 배합비를 달리한 야채죽의 물리적 특성인 색도 L, a 및 b값에 대한 F-value는 자각 1.50, 11.75 및 5.58이고,유의수준이 각각 0.3044, 0.0019와 0.0169로서 a값과 b값의 유의성이 1% 수준에서 인정되어 이들 제조조건이 a값과 b값에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 점도와 퍼짐성에 대한 유의수준은 각각 0.6920과 0.7528이고, 반응표면회귀식의 $R^2$은 각각 0.4766과 0.4436으로 유의성이 인정되지 않았다. 고형분에 대한 유의수준은 0.2026이고 회귀식의 $R^2$는 0.7107으로서 버섯, 당근 및 대파 첨가량이 고형분의 변화에 영향을 미치지 않은 것을 알 수 있었다. 관능적 특성인 색상에 대하여 soup mix의 제조조건이 야채죽에 미치는 영향은 F-value는 6.23이고, 유의수준이 0.0124으로서 1%수준에서 유의성이 인정되었으며, 회귀식의 $R^2$은 0.8890이다. 향에 대한 유의확률은 0.4555이고 0.05이상이므로 유의성이 인정되지 않아 설정된 범위내에서 야채죽의 향에 대하여 크게 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 점성에 대한 반응표면회귀식의 $R^2$은 0.8134로서 그 유의성이 5%수준에서 인정되었다. 맛과 전반적 기호도에 대하여 야채의 배합비에 따른 반응표면회귀식의 $R^2$은 각각 0.7374와 0.8651이며, 유의화률은 0.1578과 0.0228으로 나타나 전반적인 기호도에 대한 영향은 10% 유의수준에서 영향을 주었다. 결론적으로, 물리적 특성인 색도, 점성, 퍼짐성과 고형분의 함량은 관능적 특성인 색과 비교적 높은 정(正)의 상관을 나타내었으며, 관능적 특성인 향과의 상관은 유의성이 인정되지 않았다. 야채죽 제조를 위한 soup mix의 제조조건에 있어서 야채의 배합비는 색과 점성에 영향을 미치는 가장 주요한 조건이라고 생각된다.

Effects of Dietary Fe and Se Levels on Lipid Levels in Serum and Liver of Rats (철분과 셀레늄의 섭취수준이 흰쥐의 혈액과 간장의 지질수준에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of dietary Fe and Se levels on lipid contents of serum and liver in growing rats fed adequate Fe(35ppm), medium-high Fe(70ppm), high Fe(140ppm), adequate Se(0.05ppm), and high Se(0.Sppm) for 6 weeks. Serum levels of Fe and Se increased as the levels of dietary Fe and Se were increased, respectively(P<0.05, p<0.05), Serum levels of total cholesterol and (LDL+VLDL)-cholesterol increased as the level of dietary Fe was increased (p<0.001, p<0.001), and were lower in high-Se group than those in adequate-Se group(p<0.001, P<0.001). Liver Fe level in High-Se group was lower than that in adequate-Se group(p<0.01) and liver Se level decreased as the dietary Fe level was increased(p<0.05). Liver levels of phospholipid and total lipid in high-Se group were lower than that in adequate-Se group(p<0.05 p<0.01). Liver levels of triglyceride and total lipid decreased as the level of dietary Fe was increased(p<0.05 p<0.01). From these results, it is considered that serum lipid contents are increased in case of Fe overload and decreased with adding Se. Therefore, it could be suggested that adequate Fe intake and Se addition are recommended for prevention of lipid increment in serum.

Influence of Sources and Levels of Dietary Fiber on Lipid Composition in Rats (식이중에 첨가된 섬유소의 종류와 수준이 흰쥐의 체내 지질함량에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was performed to investigate the effects of sources and levels of dietary fiber on lipid metabolism in rats. Male weanling rats of Sprague-Dawley were fed ad libitum a diet containing perctin or cellulose at 5%, 10% and 20% for 4 weeks. Rats fed pectin gained significantly less weight than rats fed cellulose. Feed efficiency ratio was decreased at 10% and 20% group rats of pectin compared to control rats. Pectin was effective in lowering liver cholesterol, total lipid and triglyceride content at all levels. Whereas the cellulose supplementation had no effect to reduce serum and liver lipids. Cellulose led to an accumulation of serum and liver cholesterol. The least accumulation of lipid was in fed a cholesterol free diet. It is likely that lipid metabolism is quite different between pectin and cellulose feeding.

  • This study explores performance factors of a casino information system for foreigners, empirically examines the causal relation between these factors and business performances through organizational trust and job satisfaction and suggests a plan to develop such a information system. We found that information quality positively impacted on perception of information security, but negatively on job satisfaction; system quality positively did on security reliability, but negatively on job satisfaction; service quality positively did on trust in information security and job satisfaction; lastly security reliability positively did on job satisfaction. We found that information quality, system quality and service quality would affect perceived information security and job satisfaction.
