피스톤 형상이 유압 피스톤 펌프에 미치는 영향

  • 고압하에서 고속으로 작동하는 유압 피스톤 펌프(hydraulic piston pump) 또는 모터(motor) 등의 유압기계(hydrostatic machine)에서 피스톤과 실린더 사이의 간극(clearance)을 흐르는 유압유(hydraulic oil)의 유동에 관한 연구는 이러한 유압기계의 피스톤부 설계에서 특히 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 원통형 피스톤이 원통부와 테이퍼가 진 부분으로 나누어져 있는 복합(composite)형상의 피스톤에 대한 이론해석을 수행하여 피스톤의 형상이 유압 피스톤 펌프의 윤활성능에 미치는 영향을 조사하고자 한다.

Dynamic Response Characteristics Evaluation of Hydrostatic Bearing in Hydraulic Piston Pump/Motor (유압 피스톤 펌프/모터의 정압베어링 응답특성 평가)

  • In swash plate type axial piston hydraulic pump and motor, the piston shoe is periodically pressurized with square function shape by supply pressure load as rotation of cylinder barrel. Therefore the recess pressure on bottom part of piston shoe is suddenly increase through orifice in the piston shoe. In this study, we simulated that the frequency response of the recess pressure against with change of supply pressure with analysis tool. Also, we evaluate the dynamic response characteristics of overbalanced hydrostatic bearing with change of the orifice diameter.

  • 유압베인 펌프는 소형으로 유량이 많으나, 발생압력 면에서는 피스톤식 펌프에 미치지 못하기 때문에 고압화에 대한 노력이 계속 되어져 왔다. 또한 자원화, 성에너지화의 일환으로 고압, 고효율, 장수명화에 대한 요구가 다른 형의 펌프, 모터와 더불어 더욱더 강력해 지고 있는 실정이다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위하여는 베인펌프의 슬라이딩 부분, 특히 베인 선단부의 윤활 상태를 파악할 필요가 있다. 캠링에 대한 베인의 수직작용력을 파악하기 위하여는 베인 주위의 압력을 여러 위치에서 뿐만아니라 동시에 연속적으로 측정하지 않으면 안된다. 따라서 저자들은 압력평형형의 인트라베인식 유압베인 펌프를 이용하여 베인 주위 4개소의 비정상 압력을 특정하였다. 본 논문에서는 압력측정 결과를 기초로 하여 베인선단 슬라이딩부에 가하여지는 가중을 구하여 압력측정의 조건하에서의 베인과 캠링간의 윤활상태에 대하여 어떠한 윤활 이론을 적용할 것인가를 명확히 하고자함이 이 연구의 목적이다.

Accelerated Life Test Model for Life Prediction of Piston Assemblies in Hydraulic Pump and Motor (유압펌프 및 모터 피스톤 조립체의 수명예측을 위한 가속실험 모델)

  • The safety factor of hydraulic piston pumps & motors due to high pressurization, high speedization and low weight/volume realization to enhance the output density shows a tendency to decrease. Therefore more effective test methods are necessary to predict the exact life. The failure of hydraulic pumps & motors operating in high pressure and high speed mainly occurs in piston-shoe assemblies, and the major failure mode is wearout of the shoe surface. The sensitive parameters in the endurance life test are speed, pressure and temperature, and the failure production increases in proportion to the operating time. In this research, the authors propose the combined accelerated life test model using the analysis method of the combined accelerated life test results of piston-shoe assemblies by applying simultaneously high speed, high pressure and high temperature in accordance with variation of speed, pressure and temperature to reduce the life test time.

  • Electro-hydrostatic actuators(EHAs), which are usually composed of a direct motor-driven hydraulic pump and a cylinder, have been widely adopted as aircraft actuation systems because of their benefits in terms of improved efficiency, weight savings and the fact that they use a standalone power source. Since the recent trend in construction vehicles has been focus on energy savings in their hydraulic systems, EHAs are expected to be potential substitutes for conventional power transmission, since they are capable of energy recovery as well as highly efficient pump control. In this paper, the start and stop characteristics of EHAs were investigated through cracking pressure analysis of the pilot-operated check valve(PCV), which enables the cylinder to standstill against an external load with no holding effort from the hydraulic pump. A mathematical model that includes the load dynamics and the EHA's internal hydraulic circuit was derived for simulation with the MATLAB Simulink package. This model verified the PCV's opening and closing sequence, which in turn affects the EHA's start and stop characteristics.

  • Recently, swash plate type hydraulic axial piston motors/pumps are being extensively used in the world, because of simple design, light weight and effective cost. Structural problem of the swash plate type motor/pump is that tilting angle of swash plate should be limited to relatively small value and lateral farce on pistons has an undesirable effect in reciprocating motion. To solve these problems, piston rod mechanism, which is commonly used in bent axis type motor/pump, is considered to be applied to the swash plate type motor/pump. In this paper, kinematic analysis was done on the piston rod mechanism. A series of formula were derived and numerical calculations were done for a set of motor parameters.
