Tableware is among the important necessities of daily life, and children's tableware is especially valued by the society. Under such social background, a study centered at users of children's tableware was conducted from four aspects, including health & safety, sensory experience, behavior guide, and emotional cognition. Children's tableware products were evaluated using the Q method to understand users' cognition of children's tableware products. The interviewees' views about children's tableware design in China can be divided into four types,and put forward different psychological needs for these four types, In the interviews, some interviewees suggested that the ergonomic and regional cultural differences shall all be considered during children's tableware design. Therefore, this study evaluates the design preferences of Chinese children tableware and validates the results of the paper based on the results.

Recently, with various smart devices being used, more attention is paid to digital content development for kids. Many parents and teachers are using digital contents both at home and the classroom. However, there are many concerns on the delayed language ability development and lack of social skills due to children's overuse of digital technology. This study reviewed related literature on digital content for kids including storytelling videos, flash, animation, multimedia fairy tales, and app-books. Based on that, digital contents design guidelines were proposed. It was expected that by appropriate digital content design, children would like reading books just as they like watching digital contents.

The purpose of this study was to assess the cariogenic potential of infant confectionaries. In vitro, as compaired with 10% sucrose solution and whole bovine milk. Buffering capability were determined by amount of 0.1N lactic acid consumed to titrate the 50ml specimen solutions to pH 4.0. The pH of the specimen solution inoculated by streptococcus mutans was measured by pH meter and the surface microhardness tester, before and after 48 hours incubation. The buffering capacity of infant confectionaries was higher than that of sucrose solution and lower than that of milk, and there were significant difference between infant confectionaries(p<0.05). The pH of infant confectionaries after 48 hours incubation was similar to 10% sucrose solution, and there were significant difference between infant confectionaries and milk(p<0.05). The microhardness change of primary tooth enamel of infant confectionaries group after 48 hours incubation was similar to that of 10% sucrose solution, and there were significant difference between infant confectionaries and milk(p<0.05). In conclusion, infant confectionaries seemed to have the ability to cause dental caries in primary teeth, and there were significant differences of cariogenic potential among infant confectionaries. Cooperative efforts of dentistry and manufacturers to reduce the cariogenic potential of infant confectionaries would be necessary to prevent the early childhood caries in children.

The purpose of this study was to examine the validity of the Teacher's Scale for Gifted Preschool Children(TSGPC). Participation of this study were 357 preschool children and their parents and teachers from Seoul, Ulsan, Daegy, Gwangiu & Daejeon. Data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, Pearson's r, t-test and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results are as follows. (1) exploratory factor analysis of TSGPC revealed that a 5-factor solution (academic ability, creativity, task commitment, artistic talent, and leadership) was the best fit. (2) Correlations between TSGPC and parental rating scale for young children's giftedness were significant. (3) Scores of TSGPC between gifted children and general children were significantly different (4) Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ ranged from .82 and .91 for subscale of TSGPC and .93 for the total scale. These results show that the Teacher's Scale for Gifted Preschool Children is quite reliable and valid measure.

Media can be considered as a type of play for kids in this new media era. Researches on media content for kids have mainly focused on educational effect or specific features such as design, but a great deal of kids content is created for fun and enjoyment. This study analyzes fun factors of the most popular kids content on Youtube: Kongsuni and Friends, Carrie and Toys, and Pinkfong. The result shows that seven fun factors can be grouped into three categories; 1) Self-determination and independence are related to the media environment; 2) Sensuous vividness, empathy, and physical dynamic are related to the content; 3) Self-expression and social interaction are related to associated activities. This study extends our perspective on kids content by analyzing fun factors in the comprehensive process of media consumption.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the perception and need of the early childhood education field on authentication of teaching materials and implements for young children. To achieve this, a survey was carried out on 350 teachers and directors in Daejeon-based kindergartens and child-care centers from September 21 to September 30, 2013. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, 59.4% of them thought that it needed the evaluation authentication of teaching materials and implements for young children. 32.9% of them had a high perception of the early childhood education field. 39.4% of them had high need of the early childhood education field. And 45.1% of them expected a high effect of introducing the evaluation authentication system of teaching materials and implements for young children. Second, most of them had the highest need of the evaluation authentication of teaching materials and implements for young children in terms of education, followed by function and field. And most of them placed the highest emphasis on social development, safety and language in terms of education, function and field, respectively. Consequently, the use of teaching materials and implements, which the social development and safety in terms of education and function are respectively evaluated and authenticated by the diversity of teaching materials and implements for young children, has need of the high evaluation and authentication of teaching materials and implements that can guarantee the quality when young children use a lot of experiment and observation implements such as block play, reading materials, manipulating materials, making implements.

Edutainment is the one of important factors to study interactive TV for children, and it is a big portion in kid's marketing and education market as well. The aim of this study is to design interactive TV for children to maximize edutainment effects by researching children's behaviors. The analysis of children's behaviors with educational effects should be focused to apply designing user experience to propose new ideas of interactive TV. Through observing children's behaviors and interaction with other media, such as books, CD players, digital camera, and so on, TV can be reanalyzed as reliable media, which is creative interactive TV for children with proposals of user experience structure and interaction solution. TV has been changed from analog TV to IPTV and it will be different with network and interactive solution.

식품의약품안전청은 유아용 젖병의 사전안전관리를 위하여 유아용 젖병 제조 시 비스페놀 A의 사용금지 규정을 신설하고, 국제기준과의 조화를 통한 기구 및 용기 포장의 안전확보를 위하여 기구 및 용기 포장 제조시에 사용되는 원료유래 유해물질에 대한 안전기준 신설하고자 기구 및 용기 포장의 기준 및 규격 중 일부를 개정고시했다. 본 고에서는 주요 내용과 함께 신구조문을 비교해 살펴보도록 한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the validity of Multiple Intelligence Scales for Young Korean Children (MIS-YKC). Participants of this study were 357 children's parents and teachers from Seoul, Gyeongdo, Jeonlado & Choongchungdo. Data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson's r and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results are as follows. (1) Confirmatory factor analysis of MIS-YKC for parents MIS-YKC revealed that fit indices such as $X^2$=365.712 (df=168, p=.000), RMSEA=.057, SRMR=.047, NNFI=.935, CFI=.948. and MIS-KYC by teacher's evaluation $X^2$=436.765 (df=168, p=.000), RMSEA=.066, SRMR=.051, NNFI=.917, CFI=.934. (2) Correlations between multiple intelligence scales and IQ were significant. (3) Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ ranged from .80 and .86 for seven intelligence scales and .95 for the total scale by parents' evaluation. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ is ranged from .76 and .91 for seven intelligence scales and .95 for the total scale by teacher's evaluation. All these results show that the multiple intelligence scales for young Korean children parents and teachers are quite reliable and valid.

본 연구는 유아용 시트 고정 장치 커버의 개폐 시 사용자가 느끼는 물리적 영향도와 감성적 영향도의 상관관계를 분석하여 주요설계인자와의 관계를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 커버의 형상이 각기 다른 차종을 선정, 주요설계인자에 대한 치수를 측정하고, 시험기를 이용하여 개폐 시 사용자에게 가해지는 물리적인 힘을 측정하였다. 또한, 감성평가 체크리스트를 통한 사용자의 감성평가도 실시하였으며, 감성평가의 기준은 힘평가(힘만 고려한 평가)와 감각평가(힘을 제외한 평가)로 분리하여 평가하였다. 정리하면 기계적으로 측정된 물리적 힘과 감성에 의한 힘평가의 결과값을 비교 분석하여 두 측정값의 상관관계를 분석하고자 하고, 또한 감성평가 중 힘평가와 감각평가 사이의 관계도를 분석하여 주요설계인자에 대해 어떠한 감성적 영향을 미치는 가를 알아보고자 한다. 최종적으로 유아용 시트 고정 장치의 최종 제품에 대해 감성을 고려한 설계인자를 제공하고자 한다.
