대전 유성지역 소유역에서의 유출수문곡선 분리를 이용한 지하수 함양률 추정

  • 본 연구는 대천 유성지역 유성천 소유역에서 강우시 유출수문곡선으로부허 기저유출성분과 강우성분을 분리하여 동적 평형에 의한 강우의 지하수 함양률을 추정하기 위해서 수행되었다. 보존적인 산소동위원소(18O) 추적자를 이용하여 2성분(기저유출성분과 강우성분) 유출수문곡선 분리하였으며 이로부터 추정된 지하수 함양률은 강우의 0.13이었다. 추적자를 이용한 유출수문곡선분리는 지하수 함양률을 정량적으로 나타낼 수 있다는데 의의가 있다.

The Variation of Oxygen and Hydrogen Isotopic Composition in Precipitation and Geothermal Waters from the Yuseong Catchment (유성 소유역의 강수 및 지열수의 산소.수소 안정동위원소 조성 변화)

  • The oxygen and hydrogen isotopic composition in precipitation, groundwater and geothermal water were monitored over four-year period from 2001 to 2004 at the Yuseong catchment, Daejeon. By analyzing the long term rainfall pattern, we found out the drought cycle of 6 or 7 year. We fortunately revealed that the oxygen and hydrogen isotopic composition of rain has progressively changed to heavier isotopic ratios from 2001 to 2004. The weighted mean values of ${\delta}^{18}O\;and\;{\delta}D$ of rain are calculated to be $-7.7%o\;and\;-51%o$, respectively. These isotopic values are much heavier than those of groundwater and geothermal water collected at the same period, which indicates that the rain or snow of the study area would not immediately affect the isotopic composition of groundwater or geothermal water. Comparing with the previous data, the groundwater and geothermal water collected at 1990 and 1992 year has the heaviest isotopic composition and afterwards their isotopic composition has been progressively shifted to the direction of lighter composition field.

  • 방사성폐기물 처분연구의 일환으로 결정질 암반에서의 지하수의 함양특성을 알아보기 위하여 연구지역의 강수량, 지표유출량 및 지하수위 변동량을 시간별로 일정기간동안 모니터링하였고 채취된 강수, 지표수 및 지하수의 수소동위원소 분석을 수행하였다. 강수사건 (Rainfall event)에 따른 지표유출량과 지하수위는 급격히 증가되며, 지하수위는 약 1일경과 후 최대값을 갖는다. 연구지역 5개 시추공으로부터 모니터링된 지하수위결과는 강수사건에 따라 지하수위의 증감특성을 보여주나, 변화되는 양상은 시추공의 수리특성에 따라 다르게 나타난다. 지표수 및 지하수의 수소동위원소조성은 강수사건에 따라 상응하여 변화되고 있어, 강수, 지표수 및 지하수의 양적변화와 함께 동위원소결과의 해석은 지하수의 함양특성을 정량적으로 추정할 수 있을 것이다.

  • HydroSphere can simulate integrated surface and subsurface flow and transport. Using field experiments conducted at Canadian Forces Base Borden, in Ontario, Canada, by Abdul [1985], HydroSphere is evaluated to verify its capabilities for fully integrated surface and subsurface flow modeling. And a field scale simulation will be performed with HydroSphere, using rainfall and surface and subsurface hydrogen isotope analysis data measured at small basin, in Yu-sung, by Park et al. [2003], to verify its capabilities for fully integrated surface and subsurface flow and transport modeling.

유성지역 소유역에서 추적자(Cl)를 이용한 강우사상에 따른 지표수로부터 기저유출의 분리

  • This study aims to separate hydrograph into baseflow and event water to calculate baseflow rate during a rainfall in small catchments, Yuseong, Daejeon, The hydrograph of stream during a period with no excess rainfall will decay. The discharge is composed entirely of groundwater contributions. During the period, the Cl concentration of the stream water can be regarded as being in equilibrium with that of the groundwater. Using Cl as a conservative tracer, two-component hydrograph separations were performed from end point of the period to next end point. The required data were obtained by monitoring of the surface water table, along with discharge rate of stream. Cl concentration of rainfall, surface water were measured and recorded. Hydrograph separation, a mixing model using chemical tracer is applied to chemical hydrograph separation technique. These results show that baseflow rates are 31.6% of rainfall in the catchments during study period.
