대형 유성기어박스의 정역회전 내구성시험장치 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Normal-Opposite Rotational Durability Test Equipment for Large Sized Planetary Gear Box)

  • Planetary gear box is a power transmitter having very high gear ratio in compact volume. The planetary step-down gear box converts high speed and low torque into low speed and high torque, which is widely used in constructional and industrial machinery field. And, the planetary step-up gear box does vice versa working, which is used as main gear box of large sized wind mill system. The large sized planetary gear box must be performed the normal-opposite rotation test as a its durability test for achieving the reliability. The large sized planetary gear box is composed by triple gear trains of sun gear, carrier, and ring gear. If input power is supplied into one of them and the other is fixed, and then another becomes the output part. In this paper, we designed a new test equipment which can do rapid normal and opposite rotational change with only small displacement by supplying test power using the above rotation (driving) characteristics and hydraulic cylinder and link, and also compared and analyzed with existing method through various experiments.

비원형 유성기어열을 사용한 이앙기 식부기구의 설계 (Design of a rice transplanting mechanism with noncircular planetary-gear-train system)

  • Transplanting accuracy of a rice transplanter mainly depends on the trajectory of the hoe for picking, conveying and transplanting of seedlings as well as the return motion. The trajectory can be decided and prescribed to be suitable in treating seedlings fur a prevailing soil condition. For the purpose of the transplanting accuracy, the design of a transplanting mechanism would be carried out using a planetary-gear-train system instead of the four bar linkage system. In this study, a design method of transplanting mechanism is theoretically proposed by synthesizing a noncircular planetary-gear-train system fur the tool (hoe) to trace a prescribed trajectory. The method utilizes an optimization approach to decide the lengths of an arm and a tool, the inverse kinematics to figure out the configuration angles of the two links, the roll contact condition in transmitting motion between the gears, and a linearization approach to obtain the shapes of the gears. Based on the proposed method, the shapes of the gears and the lengths of the tools of the planetary-gear-train system are determined fur three prescribed trajectories. A kinematical simulation with a commercialized package program is also carried out to confirm that the gear-train system synthesized with the proposed method is able to trace the prescribed trajectory.

냉간 압출된 유성기어의 내부결함 방지 (Prevention of Internal Defects of Cold Extruded Planetary Gears)

  • It is investigated that internal defect of planetary gear which consists of two gears with different number of teeth on both side. The internal defect, central burst, begin to form at the place of adiabatic shear band which usually has maximum ductile fracture value during the forming operation, forward and backward extrusion. It makes the plastic forming of planetary gear difficult. The prediction of defect to minimize the cost to produce the planetary gear. The finite element simulation code DEFORM is applied to analyze the defects. In the analysis, the toothed gears are assumed as axisymmetric cylinders whose diameters are equal to those of pitch circles of the each gears. Experiments were carried out with the SCM415 alloy steel as billet material and AIDA 630-ton knuckle-joint press. The calculated results and experimental inspections are compared to design a die and blank without defects and the results are useful to predict the internal defect.

  • Planetary gear systems have several advantages over traditional gearboxes with parallel axis gear shafts. The planetary gearbox arrangement also creates greater stability due to the even distribution of mass and increased rotational stiffness. However, gears in planetary gear systems occasionally have a short-life due to wear and breakage by repetitive load during operation time. In this study, we evaluated variables of the strength design for each part and conducted structural analysis of seven cases of the planetary gear system. The result of structural analysis was applied to shape optimization method and obtaining the weight lightening designed value. Subsequently, the planetary gear system was performed to ensure the durability of gears during operation time with miner's rule.

SCM420H 유성기어의 호닝효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of the Honing in SCM420H Planetary Gear)

  • This study deals with the effect of the honing in SCM420H planetary gears. The hardness, tooth profile, lead and roughness of the gear surface can be improved by honing. Therein, the honing techniques are welcomed especially as one of the physical surface improvement methods. As a result, gear honing reduces vibration and noise, and will increase the life of gear. And gear honing also changes the surface of gear tooth in a short time and price, so it is a very important method in manufacturing industry. But nowadays, it is hard to find the detail information of gear honing. The test gear is a planetary gear which is used in the automotive industry. It is manufactured by the hobbing, shaving, carburizing and honing. This study investigates the effect of honing in surface shape of SCM420H planetary gears, including fatigue strength test and characteristics of honing of SCM420H planetary gears.

라비니오 유성기어의 신뢰성 및 수명에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reliability and Life of the Ravigneaux Planetry Gear Train)

  • The precise estimation of the reliability and life of the Ravigneaux planetary gear train used in an automatic transmission is necessary in order to enable accurate material and geometric properties to reliability distrobution and the number of load cycles at failure. These are critical for the proba- bilistic design of complex planetary gear system as Ravigneaux type particularly during various gear ratios. The Ravigneaux planetary gear train has five gears, such as a forward and a reverse sun gear, a short and a long pinion, and an annulus gear. In this paper, the Ravigneaux gear system is analyzed to figure out the reliablity distribution. i.e. the probability of survival in the system without its overhaul. First, the reliablity method based on the Weibull distribution is used in conjuction with the Palmgren's model to predict both the individual reliabilities of its components and the nimber of load cycles when the system failed. Then using the presented method, the life of the Ravigneaux gear system can be determined. Alwo the different design parameters such as tooth face width, material property, and Weibull exponent are applied and reached to optimal ones. Thus, the precise evaluation of the reliability and life of the Ravigneaux planetary gear train used in an automatic transmission can be effectively carried out.

  • Gear train system test rig of power circulating type was fabricated, and systematic experiment for measuring dynamic characteristics of the planetary gear trains in the low speed region has been carried out using the test rig. The measured parameters are fillet strains of the sun gear and ring gear, carrier displacements, torques of the input and output shafts. The results are as follows : i) Even though the loading torque is constant, torque variation has been observed on the input and output hafts, ii) The variation of the torque has two frequency components, i.e. lower one of the input shaft rotation and higher one of the two teeth meshing, iii) The variation of the fillet strains shows the same tendency as that of the torque, iv) The loci of the carrier depend on the torque and rotational speed.

  • 토지와 건축물 등 부동산 관련 정보는 타 정보화 사업의 기반이 되며 이러한 업무를 효율적으로 실현시키는 것이 도시행정의 중요한 업무로 등장함에 따라 민원 업무와 관련하여 지적도면의 전산화가 절실히 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 대전시 유성구를 대상지역으로 지적도면의 문자정보와 도면정보에 대한 자료기반을 구축하고 토지이동 업무, 공시지가 관련 업무, 대단위 업무 등으로 나누어 지적도면 관련 업무의 효율적 관리를 위한 체계를 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 체계를 통해 민원업무와 관련한 사용자 편의성을 높이고, 지적도를 기본으로 한 토지정책 수립에 필요한 다양한 정보를 제공할 수 있었다. 또한 자료구축에 따른 문제점을 제시함으로서 앞으로 진행될 전국적인 지적도면 전산화에 대한 방향과 토대를 마련할 수 있었다.

음성 신호의 음소 단위 구분화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Segmentation of Speech Signal into Phonemic Units)

  • 본 연구에서는 음성신호의 음소 단위 구분화 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 구분화 시스템은 화자 독립적이고, 음성신호에 대한 사전 정보 없이도 음소 단위로 구분화를 수행할 수 있는 특징을 갖는다. 구분화 처리는 입력 음성신호를 먼저 순수 유성을 구간과 순수 유성음이 아닌 구간으로 분리 시킨 후, 각각의 구간에 대해 세분화된 음소 단위로 분리시키는 2단계 구분화 알고리즘을 적용하였고, 이때 사용된 파라미터는 유성을 검출 파라미터, 영차 LPC 캡스트럼 계수의 시간변호 파라미터, ZCR 파라미터이다. 본 연구에서 제안한 구분화 알고리즘의 유용성을 입증하기 위해 사용한 대상어는 고립단어와 연속음성으로 구성된 어휘로서 전체 어휘중에 포함된 507개 음소에 대한 구분화율은 91.7% 이다.

The Predicting Environmental Fate of Cd, Cu, and Pb by Sequential Fractionation in Mine Tailings and Agricultural Soils

  • 토양내에 있어 중금속의 총량 분석만으로는 오염 토양에 대한 환경 평가를 위한 충분한 자료가 되지 못한다. 또한 중금속의 토양내 위해성은 중금속과 토양과의 화학적 상호작용에 의해 결정되기 때문에 중금속의 화학적 형태를 규명하는 것은 토양 환경에 있어서 그들의 이동성과 거동 특성을 평가하는데 중요한 자료가 된다. 연속 추출법은 구봉 광산의 광미로 부터 Cd, Cu, Pb을 화학적 형태에 따라 분리하고, 인위적으로 중금속을 포화시킨 광미와 두밭토양에 있어 중금속의 토양내 거동 특성을 예측하기 위하여 이용되었다. 광미중 Pb의 대부분은 Fe-Mn oxide, carbonate의 결합 형태로 존재하였으며, Cu와 Cd은 각각 71.8%와 42.9%가 유기물, carbonate의 결합형태로 존재하였다. 상당량의 Cd(94.9%), Cu(95.1%), 그리고 Pb(85.8%)은 토양내 잠재적으로 이동 가능한 형태로 존재하였다. 유성과 논산의 밭토양 에 가해진 Cd는 대부분 이동성이 가장 높은 치환태로 존재하였으며, 유성과 논산 토양에서 각각 67.9%와 93.2%가 치환태로 존재하였다. 토양에 가해진 Cd, Cu, Pb은 대부분 이동이 용이한 형태로 존재하였으며, 토양과의 결합세기는 Pb > Cu > Cd 순으로 감소하였다.
