It is important issue how to evaluate the economic feasibility of computing factors in the real world when we build ubiquitous spaces. In this paper, we propose a simple model that can evaluate the economic feasibility of mobile RFID-based ubiquitous computing system which enables seamless communication between offline and online via embedded computing factors in the real world. To achieve this, we explore the meaning of mobile RFID system, the difference between our research and extant researches concerning the evaluation of economic feasibility in RFID system, and propose the so-called 'Tag-based Evaluation Model' (TEM) which is an evaluation model to access the economic feasibility of mobile RFID systems. We also analyze the TEM via simulation cases based on proposed model and discuss the future of TEM.

Healthcare and wellness industries have become more promising as the interests on healthy living increase. Not only the medical care oriented services for the patients done by medical centers but also the psychological and emotional healthgiving services for the people who are normal have been being stressed. The psychological and emotional healthgiving services should be executed in an agile and timely manner to maximize its effects. This paper aims to propose an emotion healing service spaces which are able to provide the normal people with psychological care services. To achieve the goals, we invented the tripot approach : the ubiquitous computing technology for context-aware and intelligent estimation of psychological index, LED technology to implement emotional atmosphere and wellness healthcare technology. The proposed architecture has been implemented in an actual site.

u-City는 첨단 정보통신 인프라와 유비쿼터스 기술을 도시건설에 접목하여 도시의 경쟁력을 제고하고, 도시민의 삶의 질을 향상시키는 미래형 첨단 지능도시다. u-City는 우리가 꿈꾸는 이상적인 도시가 아닌 우리의 삶에 편리함과 건강하고 안전함을 가져다 준다. 이와 같은 기술이 가능한 것은 USN과 같은첨단 IT 기술이 그것을 가능하게 한다. 하지만 USN 기술은 ZigBee를 기반으로 하는 USN과 IP를 기반으로 하는 IP-USN으로 양분되어 있다. 어떠한 기술이 어떤 환경에 적합하지 고려되고 있지 않는 상황에서 어느 한쪽 기술로의 치우침은 u-City 서비스 제공시 중복투자의 문제점을 가져올 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선코자 본 논문에서는 u-City 서비스 모델 사례를 통한 USN 기술 적용방안을 제안하고 타당성을 검토하였다.

IT와 건설 산업간 융합의 대표적 사례로서 유비쿼터스 도시의 개념이 도입된 이후 현재 여러 지자체에서 u-City 구축이 확산되고 있다. 한편, u-City에 구축된 첨단 인프라의 활용성을 극대화하여야 한다는 부담감이 다양한 u-서비스에 대한 고민으로 이어 졌으며, 이로부터 u-디바이스간 협업의 개념이 파생되었다. u-디바이스간협업의 예로는 공공장소에서의 개인 미디어 재생과 같은 응용이 자주 거론되고 있다. 그러나 음향 미디어의 재생에 있어서는 그 재생의 품질이 서비스의 만족도에 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. 이에 본고에서는 하이파이 재생 시스템의 모델로부터 고충실도 음향 재생을 위한 기능요소를 추출하고, 이를 기반으로 하이파이 응용을 위한 u-서비스 제공 구조를 제시하고자 한다.

유비쿼터스 환경의 필수 부분인 홈 네트워크는 많은 서비스들을 가지고 생활 곳곳에 파고들고 있다. 정부의 IT839정책을 기반으로 홈 네트워크의 실용화와 구체적인 정책을 형성하기 위해 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 국내와 해외의 홈 네트워크 융성 정책 비교, 고객의 홈 네트워크 서비스 별 선호도를 비롯하여 최근에는 홈 네트워크 서비스의 사용의도와 관련한 연구들까지 있었다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구들을 바탕으로 홈 네트워크 사용의도에 영향을 주는 요인들을 조사하고 이 관계에 있어서 인구통계 변수인 연령과 인터넷 사용량의 조절효과를 측정해보았다. 그리고 홈 네트워크를 자동화 서비스, 안전 서비스, 엔터테인먼트 서비스 세 집단으로 나누고 각각을 따로 분석하였다. 분석 집단은 현재 운영되고 있는 홈 네트워크 서비스를 직접 사용해 본 경험이 있는 아파트 거주자이다. 분석 결과 연령이 높을수록 홈 엔터테인먼트 서비스 사용 시 서비스의 사용용 이성과 보안성이 중요하게 작용하였다. 또한 인터넷 사용량이 많은 집단은 홈 자동화 서비스의 사용 시 해당 서비스로부터 얻을 수 있는 효용, 편익을 중요시 여겼다.

일반적으로 거버넌스는 사회가 스스로를 이끌어나가는 과정을 의미하며, 전자거버넌스시스템(electronic governance system)은 이러한 거버넌스 지원을 위한 차세대 전자정부시스템을 의미한다. 전자거버넌스시스템은 주로 정부기관의 기능 강화에 초점을 두고 있는 전자정부시스템과 달리 능동적인 시민참여에 중점을 두고 있으므로 이에 부수되는 정보공유, 보안, 프라이버시, 구성원 사이의 상호 신뢰형성 등의 문제를 해결하여야 한다. 현재 거버넌스 관점에서 행정에 대한 시민참여가 활발하게 논의되고 거버넌스에 대한 이론 및 실증적 연구는 활발히 연구되고 있으나, 전자거버넌스시스템의 개발에 대한 연구는 매우 미약한 실정이다. USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network)은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 중요한 한 축으로써 많은 응용 잠재성을 내포하고 있으며, IT839 전략에 따라 국내 USN 인프라스트럭쳐에 대한 활발한 연구${\cdot}$개발 및 시험사업이 진헹되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 USN 인프라스트럭쳐를 활용하여 구성원 사이의 신뢰형성을 도울 수 있는 전자거버넌스시스템의 구조에 대하여 논한다.

The sensor network technology for core technology of ubiquitous computing is in the spotlight recently, the research on sensor network is proceeding actively which is composed many different sensor node. USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) is the network that widely applies for life of human being. It works out to sense, storage, process, deliver every kind of appliances and environmental information from the stucktags and sensors. And it is possible to utilize to measure and monitor about the place of environmental pollution which is difficult for human to install. It's studied constantly since it be able to compose easily more subminiature, low-power, low-cost than previous one. And also it spotlights an important field of study, graft the green IT and IT of which the environment and IT unite stragically onto the Network. The problem for the air pollution in the office or the indoor except a specific working area is the continuously issue since the human beings have lived in the dwelling facilities. Measures for that problem are urgently needed. It's possible to solve for the freshair of outside with enough ventilation but that is the awkward situation to be managed by person. This study is the system engineering to management for indoor air condition under the sensor network. And research for efficiently manage an option.

WiBro will speed up Ubiquitous era that will have positive effects in our economy such as increase in general production, consumer spending, general export, service qualify, and employment rate. Considering the fact that Wibro is currently commercialized in only few selected countries, Korea has advantage in standardizing technology, accumulating the related know-how, producing domestic parts, and technology marketing experience. I believe developing Wibro technology in Korea will deliver a significant amount of contribution to the future IT technology.

The concept of wearable computer says to be able to connect to network freely without restrict of place and time through the garment that contain the wire and circuit. Thereby we can realize the ubiquitous circumstances. Wearable computer plays a role of center in controlling the electronic equipments under the ubiquitous circumstances and also it will become the main stream of the future computer development. The current wearable computer displays ugly appearance by attaching the parts of computer on the garment instead of installing them in the box. However, as size of computer components are minimized and it's speed is getting faster, it is certain that wearable computer will evolve as fashionable computer, still retaining garment's original purpose such as fitting and fasion even though the computer is being installed to the clothing. This study reviewed about components, future market share, developed goods, human-being becoming cyborg, application area, restrict and on-going research of wearable computer.

Like other artificial architectures, the residence is also hard to be changed after once it has ever been built because its life is approximately estimated up to 20years. Furthermore, it may give big effect to residents as the life Quality. Because of these specificities, it seems to be important to forecast how demand of residential market will be changed and what kind of residential environment should be built in the future. First of all, we should consider about what is a current situation of residential environment in this country before beginning researching resident preferences. In addition, we will also research current and new residential style in other country, which should be concerned in. Finally, this study is researched by domestic male and female residents in their twenties and four ties on purpose to gain information what type of resident style they want and to suggest new ways of future residential environment.
