정보기술의 발달은 산업 전반에 매우 큰 영향을 주는 요소가 되고 있다. 이러한 정보 기술을 프로젝트에 효율적으로 사용함으로써 기존 프로젝트의 수행에 있어 불합리한 점을 제거하고 개선함은 물론 전체 프로세스에 대한 경제적인 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 특히 건설부문은 계획, 설계, 시공 및 유지관리에 이르기까지 다양한 공종이 유기적으로 연결되어 수행되는 바, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경을 실제 건설공사의 현장에 접목하려는 시도는 의미가 크다고 볼 수 있다. 이른바 u-city 건설은 IT기반의 첨단공공서비스가 사회전반에 제공되는 도시를 말한다. 최근에 기존 도시를 첨단화하거나 완전히 새로운 신도시를 건설하는 지방자치단체 또는 국가주도형 사업은 대부분 첨단 유비쿼터스 기술을 적용, 도시 서비스의 차별화를 구축하고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 도시의 근간을 이루는 토목사업중 도로를 설계함에 있어 관련되는 유비쿼터스 요소기술을 도출하고, 이를 설계에 반영하므로 u-건설의 실질적인 접근방향을 모색하고, 동시에 지속적인 u-건설이 가능할 수 있는 기반을 삼고자 한다.

정보사회에서 인터넷을 기반으로 한 IT관련 기술의 빠른 증가와 더불어 유비쿼터스 환경의 연구 또한 점점 가시화 되어 지고 있다. 이와 더불어, 웹 기반의 분산 컴퓨팅 환경 내에서 관련 정보들의 수집, 보관, 공유, 이동이 활발해지면서, 개인정보의 불법적 유출, 남용에 따른 사생활 침해문제를 해결하기 위한 방안에 관심이 집중되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경 내에서의 신뢰할 수 있는 개인정보 아키텍처를 구현하기 위한 3단계의 개인정보 보호 메커니즘/통합사용자 인증 메커니즘 CAM(Consolidated Authentication Mechanism), 개인정보정책 메커니즘 PPM(Privacy Policy Mechanism), 개인정보 통제 메커니즘 OCM(Output Control Mechanism)을 제시하였다. 또한 사용자에게 개인정보 사용시 정보의 중요도에 따른 "알림(Notice)" 기능을 웹 브라우저 내 개인정보 적용 기술(P3P)과 연동하여 제공하고, 접근 제어하는 기술적 적용 방안을 소개함으로써 개인 정보의 연동시 오 남용 방지 방안과 시스템 환경 내 실용 가능성(feasibility)을 소개하였다.

지식경제부는 2009년부터 RFID(Radio-Frequency IDentification)와 USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 기술의 중요성을 파악하고 이를 집중적으로 육성하여 2017년까지 세계 RFID/USN 산업에서 3강에 진입하겠다는 로드맵을 발표하였다. RFID와 USN은 전 세계적으로 매년 큰 폭으로 성장하고 있는 산업이며, 정부에서도 의욕적으로 지원을 발표하였다. 또한 RFID/USN 산업에 종사하고 있는 기업의 80%가 중소기업이기 때문에 이 분야에 대한 정부의 지원은 중소기업의 활성화라는 측면에서도 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 RFID/USN 최신 기술에 대해 간략하게 정리하였으며, 농림수산업 분야에서 RFID/USN 기술을 적용한 연구 사례를 충실히 소개하고 있다. 또한 해외 사례를 토대로 RFID 및 USN 산업이 나아가야할 시사점을 제공함으로써, 정부가 유비쿼터스 분야의 커다란 로드맵을 구성하는데 있어 중요한 지표가 될 수 있을 것이다.

Recently, IT industry by digital technique is improved gradually. Therefore many electronic appliance became the digital, and this is magnified gradually. The development of embedded home automation system combined embedded and internet technique is taking many interest. Specially in the times of the ubiquitous, excellent economically home automation system is preferred even in general family. Therefore, in this paper, we escape from monotonic control of home automation and draw a plan intelligent home automation to be developed.

In ubiquitous environment the multi-agent system is effective for providing intelligent services. In this paper we introduce a new scheduling service model for improving the communication performance in the multi-agent system. It is achieved by assigning a priority to the message according to the weight of formalized ACL message and the number of messages exchanged between the agents. An experiment reveals that the proposed approach allows smaller processing time per message and turnaround time than the scheduling with the existing JADE platform. Moreover, the proposed scheme allows a scalable messaging system.

세계 각국은 새로운 유비쿼터스 환경변화에 맞추어 전략적 차원에서 u-IT에 대한 연구와 다양한 프로젝트를 추진 중이다. 특히 유비쿼터스를 지역수준으로 적용 시 지역 구성원들의 삶의 질이 향상되고 편익을 직접적으로 체감할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경의 중심 기술 중 하나인 RFID는 대역별로 다른 특징을 가지고 있어 단일 대역 RFID는 제약조건이 있으며, 이를 극복하고 보다 입체적인 정보와 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 여러 대역의 RFID를 통합하는 기술이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 새로운 u-City 서비스 모델로써 u-Zone 서비스 구축 시에 필요한 13.56MHz와 2.45GHz 주파수 대역의 듀얼밴드 RFID Manager를 개발한다. RFID Manager는 u-Zone 서비스의 임베디드 하드웨어인 Base Station에 탑재하는 응용 소프트웨어로서 리더에서 입력되는 정보를 u-Zone 통합 서버 시스템에 전달하는 역할을 한다.

Applying ubiquitous computing technology continues to develop services and to use it also has developed a variety of devices. However, classification of ubiquitous computing service (UCS) is ambiguous and evaluation criteria of UCS are difficult to be applied. In this paper, we define the characteristics and classification of UCS and based on evaluation criteria are derived. In addition, we propose a checklist of evaluation criteria to support the user's choice using UCS.

This thesis reviewed following issues that are required in the policies and reaction strategies in the ubiquitous computing environment that continuously create domino effect of changes on the technology, services and business models. - Search for solutions in relation to timing difference of customer needs and emerging technology. - Deployment of management structure that is capable to adapt and react to environmental changes - Re-establishment or re-structuring of policies with the changes to portfolios. Thus, for the IT industry and ubiquitous computing strategies and policies which is based on intangble services and businesses that are accompanied with domino effect changes, must firstly consider above factors then establish the systematic architecture.

정부의 IT 관련 정책의 흐름, 융복합 서비스를 위한 핵심 패러다임 및 기술의 특징, 사회의 요구 패턴의 변화 등을 바탕으로, 융복합서비스 인프라의 중요성을 제시하고, 다양한 형태의 융복합 서비스를 가능하게 하는 프레임워크를 제시한다. 본 연구에서는 융복합 서비스 분석 프레임워크를 통해 융복합의 범위와 이동성 정도를 바탕으로 융복합 서비스를 선별하고, 개인 수준에서 이용 가능한 응용서비스를 중심으로 시급성과 효과성을 지닌 10개의 융복합 서비스를 선별하였다. 이에 따라, 향후 역동적이고 다양한 형태의 융복합 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 인프라로서 ESB를 활용한다는 가정 하에 각각의 융복합 서비스의 개념, 융복합 서비스의 흐름, 융복합 서비스 주요 내용과 서비스 추진이 고려사항 등을 제시한다.

유비쿼터스 IT시대에 우리사회가 적절하게 대응하여 국민의 삶의 질을 향상시킴은 물론 새로운 성장 동력을 마련하는데 도움을 줄 수 있도록 u-City 서비스 개발에 대한 움직임이 강하게 일고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 u-City 내에서 발생할 수 있는 교통돌발상황에 대하여 시민들에게 편의를 제공 할 수 있도록 교통 돌발상황 대응조치 서비스에 관한 정의서를 작성 하였다. u-교통 돌발상황 대응조치 서비스의 주요 특징, 프로세스, 서비스 주요 기능을 정의하고, 비즈니스 모델 및 R&R, 시스템 구성을 분석 정의 하였다. 이 정의서를 통하여, u-Ctiy 내의 새로운 서비스 모델을 적용하고자 한다.
