Implementation of Integrated Interface based on Wire and Wireless Dual Network for Ensuring the Reliability of Intelligent LED Lighting System (지능형 LED 조명 시스템의 신뢰성 확보를 위한 유무선 이중망 통합 인터페이스 구현)

  • The ZigBee communication method, which is the most frequently applied to the LED lighting control system, has drawbacks of low-speed and low-capacity, and the communication failure possibility due to environmental influences is on the rise. Therefore, it is important to secure the communication reliability by applying an integrated interface with a wire-wireless dual-network. This paper developed a communication module, which has a platform converging and combining the ZigBee of USN environments with the PLC of power line communication environments, to implement a dualized communication interface system supporting the wire-wireless integrated protocol, and implemented a wire-wireless networking device and a control system software technology. As a result, it was automatically switched into the PLC communication within 4.4 seconds on average when there was an access failure in the ZigBee communication network, so a reliable communication network was built.

  • As wireless internet market grows rapidly in recent years, demands of various contents in wireless internet is significantly being increased. XHTML with extensibility that can support many kinds of internet web clients and platforms is established in world-wide standards of markup language. XHTML reforming HTML4 in XML 1.0 is recognized that It is the heart of the technology to integrate existing contents and increase the interoperability in wired and wireless internet. XHTML Basic for wireless internet are based on the XHTML. In this paper, we design and implement an document editor for XHTML Basic.'rho wireless internet document editor supports CSS creation that users can display XHTML Basic documents as they want. It also supports WYSIWYG editing that user4 inn make out them without difficulty.

Handoff QoS guarnatee on ATM-based wired/wireless integrated network (ATM기반 유무선 통합망에서 이동성으로 인한 핸드오프 QoS보장 방안)

  • On ATM-based wired/wireless integrated network, we apply the connection re-routing method[1] which reduced the inter-cluster handoff delay by reserving VPI/VCLs for possible inter-cluster handoff calls in advance. Additionally, we propose wired resource reservation methods, which are ausiliary method and split method, for handoff QoS guarantee of various expected services. The characteristics of these methods reserve wired connection resources based on the information on the possible inter-cluster handoff calls. With mathematical analysis, we also propose each algorithm and cost function for deciding an optimal amount in reserving resources. With numberical examples, we can see that the auxiliary method effectively reduces the cost in all cases(.alpha.>.betha., .alpha.=.betha., and .alpha.<.betha.). The split method has a little cost-reduction effects, when handoffs call does not have priority over new calls (that is, .alpha..leq..betha.) and the total capacity is relatively large. In other cases, the split method, however, has effective cost-reduction effects. The numerical resutls show that these reservation methods ca flexibly cope with the time-variant environment and meet the QoS requriements on the inter-cluster handoff calls.

  • Recently, RFID technology play a key role to implement ubiquitous sensor network(USN). In this paper, we introduce trends of RFID technology, standardization, and then its applications. The purpose of this work is to suggest prosperous applications of RFID, which is applicable on marine information system, such as ship inventory management, management of container and its contents, sensing of environments within cargo hold, management of fishery boats. In case that RFID technology is utilized on marine information systems, it makes safety at sea and marine environments protection.

  • In this paper, I evaluated the throughput of various multimedia traffic by using computer simulation over wireless LAN environment based on 802.11e MAC protocol. The number of mobile terminals which generate various traffic and have different Internet QoS varies to improve the reliability of performance evaluation by simulation. Therefore, we investigate throughput of traffic that each mobile terminal generates. I expect that the result of study will be utilized as a fundamental data to control priorities of various types of traffic in case of formulating a scheduling policy supporting a variety of Internet QoS over wired and wireless networks.

  • 이동성 관리 기술은 인터넷의 주요 접속 수단이 고정 접속 환경에서 이동 접속 환경으로 빠르게 변화함에 따라 그 중요성이 점차 커지고 있다. 특히 IP 기반의 차세대 유무선 통합망은 기지국마다 라우터가 구현되는 형태를 가정하고 있으므로 IP 를 기반으로 한 이동성 관리 기술의 제공은 필수적인 요소이다. 현재의 Mobile IP 는 빠른 이동성의 지원이 미약하여 차후 다양한 IP 멀티미디어 서비스 지원을 위한 신속한 핸드오버 시에는 많은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 SIP 를 기반으로 한 계층적 이동성 및 세션 관리 메커니즘에 대해서 제안한다. SIP 는 다양한 무선 액세스망에 상관없이 이동성 관리를 제공해 줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 세션 관리 기능까지 제공해 줄 수 있다. SIP 서버의 기능을 분산화 시킨 계층적 구조로서 이동성 및 세션 관리 기술을 제시하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 현재 제안된 이동성 관리 프로토콜인 Mobile IP 와의 비교를 함으로서 성능을 측정, 분석한다.

  • In this paper, a home network access agent, which controls and monitors networked appliances at home using various terminals regardless of user's location, is designed and implemented. The proposed access agent integrates wire and wireless network on a home gateway (or home server) and is accessed with consistent messages using various terminals such as a web terminal, a PDA and a cellular phone. Also, in order to verify the operation and availability of the agent, a user interface for the various terminals is designed and a home network testbed which is accessed and controlled by the terminals is implemented.

  • 모든 물건에 컴퓨팅 기능과 통신 기능을 부가하여 사물과 사람의 위치와 공간 정보, 그리고 속성정보를 파악하게 함으로써, 인간의 생활에 협조적인 기능을 제공하는 센서 네트워크가 모든 정보기기와 함께 네트워크 상에 있는 서버에 항시 접속되어, 기기의 제어는 물론 원하는 서비스를 언제든지 받을 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 유비쿼터스 네트워크가 연구되고 잇다. 유비쿼터스 네트워크는 일상생활에 곳곳에 편재된 센서 및 컴퓨터들이 수집한 각종 환경 정보를 효과적으로 상호 공유하여 사용자 및 주변환경의 상황을 알아내고 그에 맞는 다양한 정보에 근거하여 자발적으로 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 특히, 유비쿼터스 네트워크는 IP 기반 유선 네트워크, 이동통신 네트워크, Ad-hoc 네트워크 등과 같은 기존 네트워크와 향후에 등장할 4세대 이동통신, 유무선 통합망 등이 하나로 연결되고 연동된다는 점에서 개념적인 네트워크이다. 그러나 유비쿼터스 네트워크를 사용함에 있어, 이론상의 연동 가능한 모듈 개수가 실 구현에 적용 할 때에 이론상에 미치지 못하는 문제점이 존재하고 있다. 그에 따른 적절한 해결책이 필요하기에, 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 네트워크의 객체 인식 기술과 센서 네트워크 기반 상황 인식 서비스 기술과, 유비쿼터스 서비스의 적용 분야를 정리하고, 데이터 통신을 위한 구조도를 제시한다.

  • Recently, as science and technology is very growing, wire and wireless communication is merged and interconnected. Therefore, advanced internet technology allow all kinds of communication to integrate with heterogeneous device and sensors. The representative example is smart home network based on internet of things. Communication surroundings under IoT services are more complex. Conventional encryption techniques can't provide to IoT application because of its limited resources such as small memory capacity and low computing power. In this paper, we analyzed authentication procedure between home gateway and node in sensor under smart home network.
