비상하는 세 마리의 새를 표현한 프랑스 혁명 200주년 기념 로고의 도안을 마련했던 장 미셸 플롱이 마지막으로 눈을 감은 곳은 고국 벨기에도, 그의 작품에 열광하던 미국도 아닌 모나코였다. 그 자세한 속 사정은 알 수 없지만 모나코라는 작은 나라의 존재 가치는 결코 그 땅덩어리로 따질 만한 것이 아님을 여실히 보여준다. 세계적인 부자와 예술가들은 평소의 휴식은 물론 말년을 평온하게 보낼 곳으로 주저없이 모나코를 꼽고 있다. 내로라하는 귀족과 유명인사들의 피난처이자 쉼터인 모나코. 그 가운데서도 평온한 휴식에의 욕망을 남김없이 채워주는 유명 호텔들은 단순한 숙박업소가 아닌 모나코의 진면목을 확인시켜준다.

우리 협회는 2003년 행정자치부의 민간단체 공익활동 지원사업의 일환으로 자금을 지원 받아 서산시와 함께 '한 도시 한 책 읽기 운동' 시범사업을 전개했었다. 그 당시 서산시에서는 서산시립도서관을 중심으로 '서산시민 모두가 책 한 권을 함께 읽는다면'이라는 주제로 창작 동화 "마당을 나온 암탉"을 읽고 저자강연회, 원화전시회, 영화상영, 각 종 토론회를 개최하는 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 지역 독서 운동을 이끌었다. 서산시는 2004년 전년의 경험을 바탕으로 자체적으로 '한 도시 한 책 읽기 운동'을 전개하고 있는데, 모든 시민이 함께 읽을 책으로 창작 동화집 박기범의 "문제아"를 선정하였다. 그 이후 진행된 다양한 행사 중에는 현직 아나운서들이 직접 서산시내 학교를 방문하여 아이들에게 책을 읽어 주는 '낭독회'가 있었다. 사회 유명인사들의 도서관 문화 프로그램 참여의 좋은 계기가 될만한 이번 행사에 참가한 이익선, 정현경, 박시준 아나운서를 도서관문화편집팀이 만나보았다.

지난 8월 한 아시아계의 젊은이의 놀라운 기타 연주 모습이 유튜브에 올라 화제가 되었다. 동영상의 주인공은 재미교포인 임정현씨로 이후 뉴욕 타임즈에서 이를 대대적으로 보도해 우리나라에서도 큰 화제가 되었다. 일반인을 순식간에 유명인사로 만드는 유튜브는 실리콘밸리 젊은이들의 개인 동영상 공유를 위해 태어났지만 지금은 세계를 뒤집는 힘을 발휘하고 있다.

American trendy casual style can be characterized as fitted to body and rendering sexy and fashionable images and now very popular in Korea. This paper aims to identify how American trendy casual styles have been introduced and diffused among Korean young people and also compare the similarities and differences between American and Korean styles. American trendy casual style was introduced and diffused through 4 channels: people who have living experiences in America, media exposure by American films, TV dramas and fashion magazines, on-line network using internet cafe, club and blog, use of on-line shopping mall speciallized for purchasing American apparel brands. Some of American celebrities became fashion ikons and played critical roles in diffusing American trendy styles. Photos of those American celebrities and street fashion of Korean young women were collected through internet search from Sep. 2006 to Aug. 2007. 6 styles including leggings, mini skirt, short dress, skim jeans, pants with long boots, big bag and long necklace were selected as representing American trendy casual styles. Silhouettes and overall styling were very similar in all 6 items. But Differences were found in terms of rotor, amount of details, item coordination, matching shoes and overall images.

몇 년 전 국내 한 매체에 김성진 전 결핵연구원장의 중국에서의 활약상이 소개된 적이 있다. 아니 활약상 정도가 아니라 중국에서 김 전 원장은 유명인사다. 중국의 매체들은 "중국을 감동시킨 한국 의사", "한국에서 온 노먼 베쑨"이라 칭하며 그를 앞 다투어 소개했다. 2008년에는 "칭다오를 감동시킨 10대 인물"로 선정되기도 했다. 한때 결핵연구원장으로 우리나라 결핵퇴치사업에 큰 몫을 했던 분이 중국에서 그렇게 멋진 일을 하고 계셨다는 점이 자랑스럽고, 반가운 마음이랄까? 국내에 들어오시면 꼭 한 번 인터뷰를 요청 드리리라 생각했는데 드디어 그런 기회를 만들 수 있게 됐다. 2000년부터 2009년까지 중국에서의 10년, 그 생생한 이야기를 들어보았다.

매스컴을 통해 유명인사의 갑작스런 죽음에 대한 소식을 접하곤 한다. 그중에는 암이나 교통사고 등이 원인인 경우도 있으나, 최근에는 급성 심장사 또는 급성 심근경색증이 원인인 경우도 많다. 굳이 연예인을 예로 들지 않더라도, 지난 10년 간 심장병 사망률은 약 3배 이상 증가하였다. 이는 대부분 동맥경화성 혈관 변화에 의한 급성 심근경색증이나 급성 심실성 부정맥으로 발생한 급성 심장사가 주 원인이다. 우리나라는 이런 심장병의 발병률 또한 점점 증가하고 있다고 한다. 실제 미국에서는 지난 10년 전과 비교하면 심장병의 발병률은 정체 상태이고, 사망률은 약 30% 정도 감소하였다. 물론 우리나라 국민들도 예방을 위해 식이요법, 운동요법, 금연 등 건강관리에 힘쓰고 있지만, 아직 발병률이나 사망률은 줄이지 못하고 있다. 아마도 사회가 너무 빨리 서구화 되고 인구가 고령화되어, 이러한 변화를 따라가지 못하고 있는 것으로 생각된다.

감성분석은 최근 오피니언 마이닝에서 주목받고 있는 분야로써, 특정 주제, 상품, 유명인사 등에 대한 사람들의 반응을 긍정 또는 부정으로 구분하거나 점수를 이용하여 긍정 또는 부정의 강도를 분석하는데 이용되고 있다. PMI(pointwise mutual information)와 SO-PMI(semantic orientation from pointwise mutual information)는 비교적 빠르고 간편하게 극성을 판단할 수 있다는 장점이 있지만, 어휘와 기준 어휘 사이의 극성 값이 넓은 범위를 갖는다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 일상적인 언어 사용 환경에서 나타나는 어휘로부터 감성을 분석하고자 하였다. 특히 어휘의 극성 값 편차로 인해 나타날 수 있는 어려움을 보완하기 위해 NPMI(normalized pointwise mutual information)를 이용하여 어휘의 감성을 분석하였다. PMI와 NPMI를 비교 분석한 결과 어휘의 감성 강도를 나타내는 데 있어서 밀집도에서 큰 차이를 보였다.

Readership of online newspapers has grown with the proliferation of smart devices. However, fierce competition between Internet newspaper companies has resulted in a large increase in the number of hoax articles. Hoax articles are those where the title does not convey the content of the main story, and this gives readers the wrong information about the contents. We note that the hoax articles have certain characteristics, such as unnecessary celebrity quotations, mismatch in the title and content, or incomplete sentences. Based on these, we extract and validate features to identify hoax articles. We build a large-scale training dataset by analyzing text keywords in replies to articles and thus extracted five effective features. We evaluate the performance of the support vector machine classifier on the extracted features, and a 92% accuracy is observed in our validation set. In addition, we also present a selective bigram model to measure the consistency between the title and content, which can be effectively used to analyze short texts in general.

This study aims to contemplated spatial recognition in Soswaewon Garden through garden visitors poetry. It was content analysis in poetry and extract frequency from words based on relationship of author. The results were as follows. First, relationship of authors who wrote Soswaewon Garden poetry was formed in companionship. In the Yang, San-Bo(梁山甫), poetry was written by Song, Soon(宋純), Kim, Un-Geo(金彦据) and Kim, In-Hu(金麟厚) as the central figure. Especially Kim, In-Hu was playing an important role in Soswaewon Garden poetry. He was wrote many of poetry and keep friends with Yang, Ja-Jeong(梁子渟) too. In the Yang, Ja-Jung, relationship of previous generation was sustained. In addition, Ko, Gyeong-Myeong(高敬命) and Kim, Seong-Won and Jeong, Chul(鄭澈) is more closely related than others. Because blood relationship by marriage. In the Yang, Jin-Tae(梁晋泰), He formed a relationship with a celebrity and attend to international activity. Since then Yang, Jin-Tae periord, Yang, Gyeong-Ji(梁敬之) and Yang, Chae-Ji(梁采之) formed relationship of previous generation was sustained. And surrounding people was written poetry as hold a banquet. Second, plant and ornament is a popular object for writing poetry. Bamboo grove and Fine tree with a high frequency of plant element in poetry. Bamboo grove is a typical species of trees in Soswaewon Garden. It was enclosed the Soswaewon Garden. Fine tree was often used target of poetry as a single tree. Meanwhile, ornament of the wall has been used most frequently. Descendants wrote a poem to see it because Kim, In-Hu's poetry was left. This phenomenon is involves respect for the ancient sages with high frequency. In addition, behavior of viewing the landscape was mainly appeared. Third, spatial recognition of Soswaewon Garden can be divided into landscape cognition, behavior cognition and emotional cognition. In a aspect of landscape cognition, early Soswaewon Garden was recognized as a pavilion. That was used garden name to 'Soswaewon Garden' since Yang, Ja-Jung's period. That is to say, Soswaewon Garden expanded from pavilion area surrounded by trees into the whole appearance is equipped garden area. Behavior cognition was consisting drink and enjoys a landscape. In the Yang, San-Bo, authors enjoyed drinking and viewing a landscape besides walking, writing poetry, viewing the moon. But after Yang, San-Bo's period other than drinking and enjoy a landscape has appeared a low frequency. These results were changed from internal place to blood relationship into external place to companionship. In the Yang, San-Bo's emotional cognition was sorrow and yearning about leave to Soswaewon Garden with an idly atmosphere. Pleasant emotion was sustained all generation. And emotion of respect for the ancient sages was appeared since Yang, Cheon-un.
