Anterolateral Thigh Free Flap for Reconstruction after Wide Resection of Soft Tissue Sarcoma (악성 연부조직 종양의 광범위 절제 후 전외측 대퇴부 유리 피판을 이용한 재건술)

  • Purpose: To present our experience with soft tissue reconstruction using anterolateral thigh free flap after resection of soft tissue sarcoma. Materials and Methods: Between January of 2003 and June of 2007, we treated 7 patients with soft tissue reconstruction using anterolateral thigh free flap after wide resection for soft tissue sarcoma. We retrospectively analyzed type and size of tumors, resection margin, size of defect after resection, time of operation, flap survival and complication. Results: The type of sarcoma was 3 synovial sarcoma, 2 malignant fibrous histiocytoma, 1 leimyosarcoma and 1 fibrosarcoma. The size of tumor varied from $3{\times}5\;cm$ to $7{\times}8\;cm$. The resection margins of tumors were negative in all cases. The size of soft tissue defect after resection varied from $6{\times}8\;cm$ to $15{\times}10\;cm$. The mean time of operation was 3.6 hours. All flaps were survived. Conclusion: Anterolateral thigh free flap appear to be ideal for reconstruction after wide resection of soft tissue sarcoma.

유리화 동결법에 의한 난자의 동결 중 항동해제에 Cytoskeleton Stabilizer, Taxol의 처리 후 배발달율의 개선에 관한 연구

  • 난자 동결방법의 선별은 보다 효과적인 난자은행의 개발에 필수 불가결한 중요한 요소이다. 이전의 연구에서 마우스의 난자를 ethylene glycol과 electron microscope grid를 이용한 유리화 동결법으로 동결 융해한 결과 기존의 slow freezing 방법에서보다 높은 생존율과 배발달율이 나타남을 관찰하였다. 그러나 동결융해후의 난자는 방추사와 염색체의 이상성이 대조군에 비해 높은 빈도로 나타나 융해후의 배발달율을 감소시키는 것으로 보고되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유리화동결법동안 항동해제에 Cytoskeleton system을 안정화시키는 cytoskeleton stabilizer인 taxol을 첨가시킨후 동결시켰을때 생존율과 발달율을 개선시킬 수 있는지 알아보고자 본 실험을 시행하였다. ICR mouse의 성숙란을 채취하여 연구목적에 따라 taxol을 첨가시키지 않은 대조군과 첨가시킨 실험군으로 분류하였다. 동결방법은 난자를 1.5 M ethylene glycol (EG)에 2분 30초간 노출시킨후 5.5 M EG와 1 M sucrose가 첨가된 동결액에 20초간 노출시킨 후 Grid에 난자를 부착시킨후 직접 액체질소에 침지하여 동결하였다. 동결후 난자는 5단계로 융해를 실시한 후 정자와 체외수정을 시킨 후 수정된 난자는 modified P1 배약액에 124 h까지 발달율을 관찰하였고, 배양 후 발달된 배반포는 대조군과 실험군, 각각 4마리의 발정동기화된 recipient에 이식을 시행하였다. 배발달율은 대조군에 비해 실험군에서 4세포기 (48 vs. 84.4%), 8세포기 (34% vs. 70.6%), 상실배 (26% vs. 58.6%) 그리고 배반포 발달율은 (24% vs. 58.6%)로 높게 관찰되었다. 배아이식후 대조군과 실험군에서 각각 2 마리가 임신이되어 정상적인 산자를 분만하였다. 따라서 항동해제에 taxol의 첨가는 동결 융해후의 난자의 배발달율을 증진시킬 수 있었다..8%로 나타나 난할율 및 배반포 발생율에 있어서 융합조건에 따라 큰 차이는 없었으나 1.9㎸/cm, 30$\mu\textrm{s}$ 2회의 조건이 다른 조건들에 비하여 유의적으로 낮았다. 따라서, 체세포와 수핵란 세포질간의 융합율과 배반포 발생에 미치는 영향은 전압보다는 시간에 더 크게 받음을 알 수 있었으며, 이와 같은 결과에서 융합시 시간을 오래 주는 것보다 전압을 높이는 것이 수핵난자의 세포질에 상해를 줄이고 이후 배반포 발생에 유리할 것으로 사료되었다.면에서도 더욱 더 활발할 것으로 기대된다. 배란후 72시간째에 초음파진단기를 이용하여 난소의 난포발달을 조사한 결과 , 대조구와 bFF처리구에 비해 AI처리구에서 발달난포가 유의적으로 많은 것을 확인하였다. 이상과 같은 결과로, Anti-inhibin serum은 한우 자체에서 분비하는 Inhibin을 특이하게 억제하여 Inhibin에 의해 억제되는 FSH분비가 촉진됨으로써 난포발달과 estrogen의 농도가 촉진되는 것으로 사료되어 anti-inhibin serum이 한우의 과배란유기 효과가 있는 것으로 사료된다.정량 분석한 결과이다. 시편의 조성은 33.6 at% U, 66.4 at% O의 결과를 얻었다. 산화물 핵연료의 표면 관찰 및 정량 분석 시험시 시편 표면을 전도성 물질로 증착시키지 않고, Silver Paint 에 시편을 접착하는 방법으로도 만족한 시험 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.째, 회복기 중에 일어나는 입자들의 유입은 자기폭풍의 지속시간을 연장시키는 경향을 보이며 큰 자기폭풍일수록 현저했다. 주상에서 관측된 이러한 특성은 서브스톰 확장기 활동이 자기폭풍의 발달과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 시사한다.se that were all low in two aspects, named "the Nonsignificant group". Study on the physical properties of nylon66/glass fiber composites as a function of extrusion number (나일론66/유리섬유 복합체의 압출횟수에 따른 특성 연구)

  • Because the physical properties can be decreased when a Nylon 66/glass fiber composite is injected into a mold over $300^{\circ}C$, a systematic study of the thermal history in the case of re-use is needed. Nylon 66/glass fiber extrudates as a function of the extrusion number were prepared using a twin screw extruder at 305/290/273/268/265/$260^{\circ}C$. The chemical structure, thermal properties, melt index, crystal structure, Izod impact strength, and rheological properties were measured by Fourier transform infra-red (FT-IR), melt indexer, DSC, TGA, XRD, Izod impact tester, and dynamic rheometer. The FT-IR spectra indicated that the number of extrusions did not affect the chemical structure. The decrease in molecular weight with increasing extrusion number was confirmed by the melt index and the complex viscosity of extrudates. Based on the DSC and TGA results, the thermal history had no effect on the melting temperature, regardless of the number of extrusions, but the degradation temperature decreased up to $20^{\circ}C$ with increasing extrusion number. The Izod impact strengths of the extrudates were found to decrease with increasing extrusion number. No structural change after extrusion was also confirmed because there was no change in the slope and shape of the G'-G" plot.

  • Free fatty acid and total saponin, which were extracted from the spent media and colony of the strain Phizopus delemar Rh-1, were qualitatively examined by GLC and spectroscopic methods and compared with these of intact ginseng media. The 18, 18, and 14 free fatty acids were respectively identified from the control, spent media and colony. Among them, $iC_{12:0},\;C_{16:2},\;C_{17:0},\;C_{18:3}\; and\;C_{20:0}$ acids were not detectable from the colony. In add ition, $C_{16:2}\;and\;C_{20:0}$ peaks were rot found in the spent media and control, respectively. The isible absorption spectra of free fatty acids and total saponins in the control, spent media and colony were invariable. In contrast, however, the infrared and ultraviolet absorption spectra showed significant spectral variations, particularly in the it finger-print region, demonstrating that the ginseng components were considerably utilized by the strain Rhizopus delemar Rh-1.

Content Analyses of Fiber, Protein and Amino Acids of Fully Ripe Fruits of Korea Native Squash, Cucurbita moschata Poir (한국재래종 호박 완숙과의 섬유질, 단백질 및 아미노산 함량 비교분석)

  • We studied active substances like crude cell wall components, crude protein, composing amino acids and free amino acids including orinithine cycle-related amino acids such as asparagine, ornithine and citrullin in fully ripe fruits of Korean native squash, Cucurbita moschata Poir. Crude protein content of 'Jeju 2' was the highest with $2,830\;{\mu}g/g$, while 'Sangju' was the lowest with $1,319\;{\mu}g/g$. Regarding the contents of crude cell wall components, fruit 'Kanghaw' was the highest with 2,961 mg% while 'Namhea' was the lowest with 1,582 mg%. Pectin contents of crude cell wall components were the highest in 'Kanghaw' (2,198 mg%) followed by 'Jeju 2' (2,178 mg%) and 'Jeju l' (1,461 mg%). The main contents of amino acids in squash were glutamic acid, aspartic acid, lysine, leucine and valine, which comprised to be more than 50% of total amino acid contents. Especially, in 'Jeju 2' aspartic acid and threonine were not detected. In fully ripe fruits, a total of 34 kinds of free amino acids were detected including 8 kinds of essential amino acids (histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, phenylalanine, methionine, threonine and valine). More than 50% of the total free amino acids were aspartic acid and asparagine, and also all varieties were detected in ornithine, citrullin, and arginine, which are related to Ornithine cycle. There was a big difference in the contents of arginine in all varieties whereas the contents of ornithine and citrullin were very similar. 'Teaan' 29.34% was 7 times higher than 'Namhea' 4.30% in regards to arginine contents.

  • Four glasses of $B_2O_3-Bi_2O_3-PbO-SiO_2$ (BBPS) system were prepared by melting the appropriate amounts of reagent grade oxides of $B_2O_3$, $Bi_2O_3$, PbO, and $SiO_2$ in an open crucible. The differential thermal analysis showed crystallization temperature decreased with increasing $Bi_2O_3$ or PbO content in the sample. The structures of glasses system were studied using scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform-Infra red (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The UV cut-off and refractive index were found to be sensitive to the $Pb^{+2}$ and $Bi^{+3}$ content in the glasses. The behavior of the IR spectra of the glasses in the BP series was consistent with a role of $Bi_2O_3$ as a network former. In the BP series of glasses, the result of IR spectrum indicated that PbO behaved as a network former.

A Study on Corrosion according to Distance between Amalgam and Dissimilar Metals (아말감과 이종(異種)금속의 거리에 따른 부식에 대한 고찰)

  • The present study prepared 72 test samples - 24 made of amalgam alloy, 24 of Verabond (Ni-Cr alloy) for crown and 24 of Talladium $^{TM}alloy$ for denture - according to the manufacturers' manuals and general method in consideration of the width of the mesial-distal dental crown of the lower $1^{st}$ molar and MOD cavity in clinics, put them in a 200 ml beaker containing 80 ml of artificial saliva, and measured their galvanic corrosion at distances of 0 mm, 7 mm and 40 mm after 7 days. Isolated metals in the electrolyte such as Cu, Ag, Ni, Cr, Sn, Zn and Hg were quantitatively analyzed with Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-AES, JY-50P, VG Elemental Co. France), and from the results were drawn conclusions as follows. First, Cu, Sn, Ag, Hg and Zn were highly advantageous when amalgam contacted gold alloy compared to Ni-Cr alloy for crown and Talladium alloy for denture. In addition, although gold alloy was finest in terms of oral tissue and biocompatibility, it was most disadvantageous when it was with amalgam. Second, when amalgam contacted gold alloy, heavy metals such as Ni and Cr were not isolated at all because gold alloy did not contain such elements but Sn was isolated as much as $227.1{\pm}18.0035{\mu}g/cm^2$ although it was not included in the composition either. Hg was also isolated. These elements are assumed to have been isolated from amalgam itself. Third, when amalgam alloy was apart from gold alloy 0 mm, 7 mm and 40 mm, Cu and Ag showed significance but Hg did not. This suggests that gold alloy must not be used together with amalgam, and must not be used between dissimilar prostheses regardless of distance. Fourth, when amalgam alloy contacted Ni-Cr alloy for crown, Ag was not isolated from the amalgam, but Zn, Ni, Sn, Hg and Cu were isolated in order of quantity. Significance was observed according to distance - 0 mm, 7 mm and 40 mm. Hg was not isolated but heavy metals Ni and Cr were isolated. If amalgam alloy was in the opposite arch or it was apart from Ni-Cr alloy for crown, the isolation Hg was less than that when amalgam alloy contacted Ni-Cr alloy for crown. Fifth, when amalgam alloy contacted Talladium alloy for denture, significance was observed at distances of 0mm, 7 mm and 40 mm. Hg was not isolated but heavy metals Ni and Cr were isolated. If amalgam alloy was in the opposite arch or it was apart from Talladium alloy for denture, the isolation Hg was less than that when amalgam alloy contacted Talladium alloy for denture. Sixth, according to the result of ICPES test on Cu, Sn, Ag, Hg, Zn, Ni and Cr of amalgam alloy, gold ally, Verabond and Talladium alloy when these alloys contacted artificial saliva, significance was observed in Cu and Hg. Seventh, when amalgam alloy contracted two non-precious metals Ni-Cr alloy for crown and Talladium alloy for denture in artificial saliva, significance was observed in the isolated by-products of Hg, Ni and Cr according to distance.

  • The effect of reduction of carbon dioxide by CODH(Carbon Monoxide Dehydrogenase) was compared on glassy carbon and gold working electrodes. In case of gold electrode, the choice of the optimum applied potential is very important since $H_2$ evolution can be mixed with $CO_2$ reduction. On the other hand, efficient $CO_2$ reduction was observed up to -650 mV vs. NHE on glassy carbon in neutral solution due to the larger overpotential for $H_2$ evolution on glassy carbon surface than that on gold surface. The optimum potential for $CO_2$ reduction was found to be $-570{\sim}600\;mV$ vs. NHE. The current efficiency of $CO_2$ to CO decreased dramatically at more negative potential according to the activity of enzyme decrease and the hydrogen evolution.

전기화학적 성장법을 사용하여 형성한 Cu 도핑된 ZnO 박막의 구조적 및 광학적 특성

  • ZnO는 큰 여기자 결합 에너지, 낮은 유전 상수, 높은 화학적 안정도를 가지고 있기 때문에 전자소자 및 광소자로 많이 응용되고 있다. 여러 가지 불순물을 주입하여 ZnO의 전기적 및 광학적 성질을 향상시키기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 여러 가지 불순물 중에 Zn와 물리적 및 화학적 성질이 유사한 Cu를 도핑하여 전기화학적성장(electrochemical deposition) 방법으로 ITO가 코팅된 유리 기판 위에 ZnO 박막을 성장하였다. Cu를 도핑하여 ZnO박막을 성장한 결과 구조적으로 ZnO 박막이 나노로드 형태에서 부분적으로 나노세선 또는 나노로드 형태로 변화함을 확인하였다. 광류미네센스 측정 결과는 벌크 ZnO 박막과 비교하여 Cu를 도핑함으로써 ZnO 나노세선이 3.37 eV의 에너지를 가지는 파장의 크기가 줄어들었고 여러 방향으로 ZnO 나노세선이 형성됨을 알 수 있었다. Cu를 도핑함으로써 ZnO 나노세선의 구조적 변화는 크기 않으나 에너지 밴드갭을 변화할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. ZnO 나노세선의 광학적 성질을 Cu를 도핑하여 변화할 수 있음을 관측하였으며 불순물을 도핑하여 밴드갭을 변화하여 전자소자 및 광소자를 제작하는 기초지식으로 사용할 수 있다.

  • 플라즈마 화학 증착 방법에 의해 corning 7059 유리기판위에 비정질 실리콘 박막을 만들고 고온열처리, 다단계급속열처리, 일차원 선형빔(line shape beam)의 가우스 분포를 가지는 엑시머 레이저 열처리를 이용하여 고상 및 액상의 재결정화를 통해 다결정 실리콘 박막을 제작하였다. 편광된 라만 분광학(Raman spectroscopy)을 통하여 여러 가지 열처리 방법과 기판온도에 따른 다결정 실리콘 박막의 잔류응력을 조사하였다. 레이저 열처리에 의하여 결정화된 실리콘 기판의 경우, 높은 결정화된 체적량과 잔류응력을 갖으며 equaxial결정성을 갖는다. 그러나 이러한 고상 재결정화된 다결정 실리콘 박막은 라만스펙트럼에서 480$cm^{-1}$ /주위에 넓게 퍼져있어 비정질상(amorphous phase)이 함께 존재함을 알 수 있다. 고온열처리와 다단계급속열처리의 경우 잔류응력의 크기는 각각 4.07x$10^{9.}$과 4.56x$10^{9 dyne}$ $\textrm{cm}^2$이다. 또한 엑시머레이저 열처리의 경우 기판온도가 상온에서 40$0^{\circ}C$로 증가할수록 열적인 완화에 의해 잔류응력이 1.35x$10^{10}$에서 8.58x$10^{9}$dyne/$\textrm{cm}^2$으로 감소하는 것을 알 수 있다.다.
