An Experimental Study on the Performance Characteristics of a Single-Circuit Multi Cycle and a Bypass Two-Circuit Multi Cycle (단일유로 멀티사이클 및 바이패스유로 멀티사이클 적용 냉동시스템의 성능특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The object of this study is to investigate the performance characteristics of refrigerators using a single-circuit multi cycle and a bypass two-circuit multi cycle. Each refrigeration cycle was tested by varying secondary fluid mass flow rate and temperature. Based on the experimental data, the optimum refrigerant charge was 48 g and the COP at the optimum secondary fluid mass flow rate was 1.53 for the single-circuit multi cycle. For freezer(F)-only mode, both the single-circuit multi cycle and the bypass two-circuit multi cycle were operated at overcharge conditions, resulting in an increase of the secondary fluid mass flow rate. The maximum COPs of the single-circuit multi cycle and the bypass two-circuit multi cycle were 1.22 and 1.35, respectively. The COP increased by 10.7% with the application of the bypass two-circuit multi cycle.

  • Ship hull is a compound curved shape and most of shipyards have been using gas heating method for the surface forming of steel plate. This traditional forming process have problems such as difficulties in heat input control and poor working conditions due to loud noise and air contamination. Recently, researches on automatic hull forming system have been conducted using high frequency induction heating method which have good control ability and favorable working environment. In this study, the induction heating simulation system for curved surface forming of steel plate was developed and induction heating experiments were performed. Based on the results of this study, efficient induction heating coil design and optimal heating conditions for the automatic hull forming system can be obtained.

Context-aware based U-health Environment Information Service (상황인식 기반의 유헬스 환경정보 서비스)

  • U-health care services have been attracted to effectively solve some problems in promoting health and preparing aging society. Although the recent U-health care services have been developed to treat diseases, it requires environment information related to health for preventing fundamental diseases and for promoting health. In this study, a U-health environment service that reflects context recognition information is proposed. The proposed service draws environment information using local weather and healthcare information in users' residential areas. In the context recognition based U-health environment services, various services are provided to users not only health, living weather based menu, and exercise services but user location based warning messages for dangerous regions and remote emergency services. That is, based on such context recognition, some events that are to be occurred to users are detected and then it will provide proper services. Thus, it improves the satisfaction of U-health services and its service qualities.

Effect of the Pan Oil Type on the Releasing Power, Changes of Peroxide and Acid alue of the Oil (이형유 종류에 따른 Cake 제품의 이탈성, 이형유의 과산화물가 및 산가의 변화)

  • This study aims to examine appropriate kinds of pan oil to release a cake from the pan coated with polyether sulphone and to prove the change of acid value and peroxide value during the process of baking. The major factor effecting the rate of release of the cakes from the pan was properties of the oils rather than the additives. The releasing rate appeared higher as the iodine value was lower. The highest releasing rate was found in the sample, which was made of coconut oil plus 2% of wax, 2% of lecithin. The changes of acid value of the pan oil between the beginning and after baking was little different. In contrast, Peroxide value showed a great change after baking.

  • This paper demonstrates that 'Qi Energy Healing' effects on elevation of capabilities in regards with the autonomic nervous system which prevents from the stress. Nineteen participants were assigned into 'Qi Energy Healing' and the 'Ordinary Relaxation' condition. Participants were examined to see the difference of frequency domain analysis, heart rate tachogram, physical resistance through the heart rate variability. The 'Qi Energy Healing' is significantly more likely to influence on reducing and diminishing the stress. 'Qi Energy Healing' treatment showed clear distinction on 6 fact. Our findings established the link between effectiveness of 'Qi Energy Healing' and the autonomic nervous system.

Extraction of Soybean Oil Using Supercritical Carbon Dioxide and Its Characteristics (초임계 탄산가스를 이용한 대두유의 추출과 추출대두유의 성질)

  • Extraction of soybean oil from full tat soybean flour was performed using a supercritical carbon dioxide extraction system. Extraction pressure and temperature of the process were 3,000-7,000 psig and $40-70^{\circ}C$, repectively. For the extraction of lg of soybean oil, 25l of carbon was consumed at 7,000 psig and $60^{\circ}C$, whereas more than 2501 of carbon dioxide was consumed at 3,000 psig and $60^{\circ}C$. The solubility of soybean oil in supercritical carbon dioxide decreased with the increase in temperature below 6,000 psig, and the reverse trend was observed above 6,000 psig. At 6,000 psig the solubilities were shown to be, constant regardless of extraction temperature. Soybean oils , extracted with supercritical carbon dioxide were lighter in color and contained less phosphorus than those extracted with hexane.

MUN 수준이 번식에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 최근 적절한 사양관리를 위해서 유중 요소태질소 수준(MUN)과 유단백을 이용하여 사료 내 에너지와 단백질의 균형을 평가하는 지표로 활용하고 있으며 요소태질소 수준이 정상보다 크게 높거나 낮았을 때 번식능력이 저하되기 때문에 번식효율의 지표로서 활용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우유내 요소태질소 수준이 번식장애에 미치는 영향을 조사하여 요소태질소 수준을 번식장애의 진단지표로 활용하고자 실시하였다. 본 실험에 공시된 우유시료는 경기도 안성시와 이천시에 소재한 낙농목장에서 사육중인 조사두수를 대상으로 개체당 약 30~50$m\ell$의 우유를 채유하고 냉장보관하여 실험실로 운반하였다. 우유의 분석은 유성분분석기(Fosscomb : 4000, Fossmatic 5000, Denmark)를 이용하여 우유의 일반성분인 유지방, 유당, 유단백, 무지고형분, 총고형분, 빙점, 유중요소태질소, 구연산과 체세포를 동시에 분석하였다. 번식장애우의 진단은 낙농가가 번식장애우로 분류한 개체를 대상으로 직장검사 및 초음파 진단기를 이용하여 진단하였다. MUN준에 따른 공태일수의 조사 결과 MUN수준이 7이하 군의 공태일수가 88.98$\pm$120.68로 7-16의 92.20$\pm$105.39와 16이상의 94.42$\pm$87.51보다 다소 낮은 결과를 나타냈다. 또한 번식장애우의 발생빈도와 유성분 분석결과를 살펴보면 낙농가가 번식장애우로 분류한 68두를 진단한 결과 발정발견을 하지 못하여 번식장애우로 분류된 두수가 30두(44.1%)와 비정상두수 38두(55.9%)로 나타났으며 비정상 두수 중 난포난종이 19두(27.9%)로 영구항체6두(8.8%), 자궁내막염(10.3%), 자궁축농증 6두(8.8%)보다 많은 것으로 나타났다. 번식장애우의 유성분 분석결과 자궁축농증이 있는 개체의 유단백 평균이 3.43$\pm$0.35로 다른군에 비해 높았으며 영구항체가 있는 개체군의 MUN수준이 7.73$\pm$8.58로 다른군의 10.84$\pm$4.92, 10.89$\pm$7.38와 10.61$\pm$5.52에 비해 낮게 나타났다.

가시오가피와 더덕 추출물을 첨가한 발효유가 마우스의 면역 기능에 미치는 영향

  • 가시오가피와 더덕 추출물을 첨가한 발효유가 마우스의 면역 기능에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 선발된 수컷 마우스를 대상으로 하여 발효유에 가시오가피와 더덕 열수 추출 건조물(가시오가피:더덕=8:2)을 혼합하여 투여한 그룹 1mg/mL(A), 3mg/mL(B), 9mg/mL(C)의 3 그룹으로 나누어 임상 적용 경로인 경구 투여를 선택하여 발효유를 각각 3mL/kg씩 위내로 직접 투여하였다. 대조군은 발효유만 먹인 그룹(D)과 식염수만 먹인 그룹(E)을 두었다. 실험 결과 모든 그룹에서 마우스의 증체량과 체중 증가는 유의성이 없었고, 7주와 10주령에 안락사 시킨 마우스의 각 장기인 간, 신장, 심장, 폐, 고환의 무게에서도 유의성이 없었다. 비장 계수는 7주령에서는 B군에서 유의성 있는 차이를 보였고 10주령에는 C군에서 유의성 있는 증가가 관찰되었다(p<0.05). 비장 계수는 식이 지속 기간이 길어질수록 증가되었고, 흉선 계수는 B군에서 유의성 있는 증가가 관찰되었다(p<0.05). 항체 생산 세포수는 가시오가피와 더덕을 급여 한 군 모두에서 대조군에 비해 증가하였으며, 특히 A, C군에서는 유의성(p<0.05)이 있었다. 모든 그룹에서 항체 생산 세포수는 10주령에서 7주령에 비하여 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 항원에 대한 항체 생성량을 알아보기 위하여 혈구 응집 반응을 실시한 결과 가시오가피와 더덕을 급여한 군에서 대조군에 비하여 증가하는 경향을 보였고 7주령 A, C 군에서는 유의성 있는 차이를 보였으나 10주령 에서는 C군에서만 유의성있는 차이가 나타났다(p<0.05).

Contents of Nitrogen Fractions and the Degree of Whey Protein Denaturation in Market Milks (시유의 질소분획물 함량과 유청단백질 변성정도)

  • To find out the effective indicators for identification and classification of different heat treatment, the contents of nitrogen fractions and the degrees of whey protein denaturation in market milks were investigated by Kjeldahl method. The contents of nitrogen fractions per 100ml raw milk were total nitrogen (431.3mg), casein nitrogen (341.0mg) and non-casein nitrogen(90.3mg), in which non-protein nitrogen (31.6mg) and denatured whey protein nitrogen (58.8mg), while those of LTLT, HTST, UHT pasteurized and UHT sterilized showed different values. The degrees of whey protein denaturation were 26.7%(LTLT), 32.9%(HTST), 60.7%(UHT pasteurized) and 38.4%(UHT sterilized), respectively. As the higher temperature was applied for the treatment of milk, the degree of the whey protein denaturation was higher. Remarkable differences in the degree of whey protein denaturation according to the heating methods were observed.
