  • 저 전력 기술에 기반한 무선 센서 네트워크 (Wireless Sensor networks, WSN) 기술은 유비쿼터스 사회의 중요한 핵심 기술 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 WSN에 기반한 응용으로서 국경 감시 및 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 시스템은 센서노드, 게이트웨이, 서버, 모바일 애플리케이션으로 구성된다. 모바일 애플리케이션은 사용자모드와 관리자모드로 나뉘어, 일반 사람들도 스마트폰을 통해 국경침범을 감시하고 주변 환경에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 관리자모드에서는 센서노드의 유동적 작동을 위해 원격으로 소프트웨어 업데이트를 할 수 있다. 또한 저 전력 센서노드의 확장성을 위해 멀티 홉 라우팅 프로토콜을 적용하여 구현하였다.

Error Characteristics of Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flowmeters Depending on Location of Sensors and Downstream Straight Run of Bent Pipe (곡관후단의 직관거리와 센서위치에 따른 초음파유량계의 오차특성)

  • Flowmeters that measure the amount of fluid passing through conduits must kept accurate by comparison and the periodic calibration. The reference meters used are clamp-on meters that mount sensors on the outer wall of the pipe. They are called 1-path, 2-path or 4-path flowmeters depending on the number of sensors. We selected a flowmeter mainly used for K-water as test a flowmeter. We carried out experiments to find the intrinsic error of the flowmeter and errors in the downstream of a double bent pipe. The results show that there are the sensor locations that meet the tolerance. We suggested the angle of the sensor, the straight run from the downstream of the bent pipe and the number of sensors. So it is possible to improve the water treatment process and increase the accounted water rate by upgraded flow measurement technology.

Thermal Flux Analysis for the Wearable NOx Gas Sensors (웨어러블 NOx 가스센서의 열유동 해석)

  • In this study, the diffusion process and the thermal energy distribution gradient of the sensor were confirmed by using the finite element analysis program (COMSOL) of the mesh method to analyze the thermal diffusion in the wearable fabric (Nylon) + MWCNT gas sensor. To analyze the diffusion process of thermal energy, the structure of the gas sensor was modeled in a two dimension plane. The proposed modeling was presented with the characteristic value for the component of the sensor, and the gas sensor designed using the mesh finite element method (FEM) was proposed and analyzed by suggesting the one-way partial differential equation in the governing equation to know the degree of thermal energy diffusion and the thermal energy gradient. In addition, the temperature gradient 10[K/mm] of the anode-cathode electrode layer and the gas detection unit was investigated by suggesting the heat velocity transfer equation.

  • Recently using a variety of sensors sensing the virtual(Virtual Sensing) technology that extracts specific data has been applied to IoT service interface. The utilization of such sensors while increasing IoT (Internet of Things) environmental sensor is an essential element. However, used in the IoT to the environment, while the increase in utilization of a specific sensor utilization falling sensors is generated. In this paper, we design unnecessary sensors removal algorithm as a way to solve this problem. Through the utilization of poor power to block the sensor can reduce the power consumption and user sensor control service through the monitoring by blocking the use of the sensor is considered that there can be provided a more effective and convenient.

  • Time information and time synchronization are fundamental building blocks in wireless sensor networks since many sensor network applications need time information for object tracking, consistent state updates, duplicate detection and temporal order delivery. Various time synchronization protocols have been proposed for sensor networks because of the characteristics of sensor networks which have limited computing power and resources. However, none of these protocols have been designed with time representation scheme in mind. Global time format such as UTC TOD (Universal Time Coordinated, Time Of Day) is very useful in sensor network applications. In this paper we propose time keeping and synchronization method for global time presentation in wireless sensor networks.

  • The distance of sensor nodes is an important factor in having influence on capability of networks in underwater acoustic sensor networks. Our proposed scheme is to establish an efficient distance to design a route of communication in underwater environment and it proposes a Level scheme that the areas divided by transmit/receive distance in network are given different levels. Our proposed scheme is pursued research to maintain a established route and maximize an energy efficiency. The established route will have fluid modification by an internal and external factors and it will construct more robust underwater sensor networks over our proposed multiple path configuration scheme.

  • 본 논문은 UKF(uncented Kalman filter)를 이용한 이동체의 위치측정 정밀도 향상에 관한 연구이다. 기존에 사용된 위치측정 기술로는 유선과 마그네틱 유동 방식들이 있다. 하지만 이러한 방식들은 높은 유지 보수비용으로 인해 최근에는 레이저 내비게이션이 많이 이용되고 있다. 하지만 레이저 내비게이션은 헤더가 회전 하면서 반사체를 인식하여 위치를 계산하는 구조로써, 응답속도가 느리고 주행 속도에 따라 정밀도가 크게 떨어지는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 느린 응답속도와 위치측정 오차를 해결하기 위해서 UKF를 이용한 센서융합 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법의 실험은 차축구동 방식의 지게차를 이용하여 레이저 내비게이션의 위치측정 결과와 비교하였다. 실험 결과, 제안된 방법이 레이저 내비게이션에 의해 계측된 위치측정 데이터보다 정밀도가 향상됨을 확인하였다.
