A Grounded Theory Approach to the Experience of Leaders in Self-help Group for Parents of Children with Cancer. (소아암 부모모임 리더들의 자조집단 참여 경험)

  • This study has been performed to analyze the experience of parents who had led a parents-group of children with cancer. For this study, fifteen participants were selected for an in-depth interview and the personal experiences of each participant had been interviewed in person until data were saturated. This study employed the grounded theory approach of Strauss and Corbin(1998). With the qualitative constant comparative analysis, ninty four concepts, twenty six subcategories, and seventeen categories were generated. In the axial coding, a paradigm model was proposed as follows: The central phenomenon of the leaders' experiences was that they had been 'Pushed Back' to lead the groups. The causal conditions were 'A Sense of Solidarity', 'Regaining Self-possession', and 'Feeling a Necessity of Parents Group'. The contextual conditions were 'Want to Help', 'A Sense of Mission', and 'Discontent with the Cure Environment'. The intervening conditions were 'Self-reflection of Leadership', 'Reaction of Their Own Family', 'Hope to Have an Expanded Group'. The action/interaction strategies were 'Assuming All Field Work', 'Accumulation of Experiences', 'Recognition of a Role Scope'. The consequences were 'Being Comforted', 'Positive Self-awareness', 'a Sense of Worthiness', and 'Desire to Quit'. In the selective coding, the core category was 'Pushed to Lead a Group'. Based on the core category, four types and five stages in the leaders' experiences were identified. The types include 'a Devoted Family Type', 'a Volunteer Type', 'a Role Model Type', and 'a Activist Type': the stages consist of 'Stage of Maintain Identity as a parent of a child with cancer', 'Stage of Questioning', 'Stage of Active Participation', 'Stage of Experience Accumulation', and 'Stage of Progressive Change'. The result of this study presents some implications and suggestions for social work services and theories with respect to the self-help group of pediatric cancer by attempting to understand more about the experiences of leaders' in such groups.

  • The reason to research the musical is it has a lot of useful things for the various studies department not only Korea Musical Theatre own although it has been a successful musical theater on the Off-Broadway by Reboot culture era. Even though does not release on Korea, the popular of the show and powerful results of environments have delivered through the international magazines and Youtube channels to Korea. To study of Musical will be lead us to the world which adopted to the social problems as the youth school violence, family communication hurdle, and religion missing by script not only the musical drama but the interpretation for Teen-agers social problem. There are many kinds of Neo educations are proved by smart learning as STEAM. The students who have been studied with the smartphone, I-pad, personal computer, or laptop as smart tools for class are familliar as feedback processing speedly. It would make them learn the skill for their knowledge of a digital age, but it should not let them how to understand other people's emotion as real although STEAM has emtion part. Besides they have communicated on the social network not the ordinary man but the special ego by themselves, as mention or retweet as like their amusements and make the gossip group. This study would show the perspective for understanding Teen-agers Social Problem and who is the victims today's juvenile problems though the musical based on Jim Taulli's directing.

  • 일본의 Soyo town에서 진행된 건강도시사업은 건강증진 프로그램 모형을 통하여 건강한 도시를 건설하겠다는 슬로건을 가지고 주민들이 참여하여 자신의 건강관리능력을 함양하고 서로의 장점을 공유하는 것을 사명으로 하고 있다. 또한 삶의 질 향상, 주관적 건강상태 향상, 삶의 만족도 향상, 정서적 유대감 향상, 수입증가 그리고 조기사망의 감소를 구체적 목적으로 설정하고 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하게 위한 매우 실제적이며 수량화된 목표들이 설정되어 있다. 1992년에 사전조사를 실시하고 1996년과 2002년에 사후 조사를 실시하였다. 프로그램 내용과 과정에는 보건의료전문가와 시설에 대한 정비, 평가에 대한 계획, 학교를 포함한 포괄적인 보건의료시스템이 포함된다. 모든 부문은 자신들이 설정한 보건정책 결과에 대하여 모니터링을 진행하며 적절한 정책을 다시 설정하고 수량화된 목표를 설정하며 프로그램을 수행한다. 프로그램 수행의 가장 중요한 원칙은 사업의 기획, 수행, 평가 과정에 주민이 최우선적으로 참여한다는 점이다. Soyo town은 사업을 위하여 학교 및 지역 내 사조직과 협력하고 모든 사업의 기획과정에 다양한 구성원들을 참여시켰는데 이는 건강자원 개발에 있어 매우 중요하게 실천되어야 하는 문제이다. 특히 모든 Soyo town의 주민들이 참여하는 것을 원칙으로 하였다. 주민들은 건강관련 자원의 배치상태와 과학적 근거를 고려하여 효과적인 사업을 선정하는 것을 포함한 모든 사업의 과정에 참여하였다. 바람직한 생활양식을 향상시키기 위하여 식품회사, 자원단체 그리고 사회적 관계망 그리고 지역의 단체급식시설, 식당 등이 파악되었으며, 요양원, 가사도우미, 공중보건간호사, 방문간호사, 사회사업가로 구성된 보건의료 시설과 인력들이 협력하였다. 사업이 주민의 건강을 향상시켰는가와 건강향상에 사업이 효과적이었는지를 판단하기 위해서 평가가 진행되었는데, 서비스 제공자 뿐 아니라 소비자와 주민들도 평가를 수행하였다. Soyo town의 건강도시사업의 평가 결과, 조기사망률이 1988년 22.1%이 1992년 18.2%로, 1998년 15.6%로 감소하였다. 또한 주관적인 건강상태는 1988년 48%에서 1992년 67.1%로, 1998년 71.5%로 증가하였다. 전반적으로 주관적 건강상태, 사회적 관계망, 보건의료서비스에 대한 접근성은 증가하였으며, 조기사망, 의료비용은 감소하였다. 한편 보건의료부문의 질적인 향상을 가져왔으며, Soyo town은 건강한 도시의 명성을 얻게 되었다. 사업의 효과성을 향상시킨 요인은 주민 개개인들에게 사업의 기획과정에 처음부터 참여할 기회가 주어졌다는 점과 자원개발에 있어 기존자원의 재개발에 우선순위를 두었다는 점이었다. 효과적인 사업의 수행을 위하여 행정부, 주민, 건강관련 단체들은 수단과 방법에 관한 정보를 교환하는 것이 중요하다. 사업의 기획단계에 모든 이해당사자들이 참여하여 각자의 역할분담을 명확히 하는 것이 필요하며, 건강증진은 개인의 노력 뿐 아니라 사회적 환경의 개선과 자원의 개발을 통해서 달성되는 것이므로 주민들은 건강증진을 위한 환경개선을 위해 노력도 병행되어야 한다.

A Study on Development Direction of Public Interest Contents through Gamification Case Analyses in Domestic and Foreign Environmental Fields (국내·외 환경분야 게이미피케이션 사례분석을 통한 공익 콘텐츠 개발 방향 연구)

  • As environmental problems such as global warming, and ecocide have a great influence on society, the attention to environmental pollution is being expanded. To solve the environmental problems, the awareness and practice of members of society in question is required. However, it has been found that few people are participating in practising environmental protection in real life. Our main goals are to show that Gamification has great potential in delivering messages for public interest and to suggest guidelines for researchers and public contents developers who engage in designing in relation to Gamification. Based on the domestic and foreign theoretical investigations, we found that Gamification mechanism made based on psychological mechanism of users aims at public interests' value by maximizing motivations of users and spreading social relationships among people. As shown in the case study, if contents are developed by reflecting the elements which stimulate challenging of users, the elements which can express their opinions, and the elements of altruism which form the sympathy in the development of public interest contents in the future, practical participation of people to solve social problems can be expected.

Study on Factors Affecting Intention of Switching China's Mobile Telecommunication Service - Focusing on PPM Theory (중국 이동통신시장에서 서비스 전환의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 - PPM 이론을 중심으로)

  • China's mobile communication market has been growing quantitatively and qualitatively since 2000. Currently, it has secured 1.27 billion mobile subscribers and many of the Korean companies try to enter the Chinese market and cooperation with companies in China is being held. Thus understanding of the Chinese markets is the key to better prepare for future international competition. This study is to identify factors affecting switching intentions and behaviors for Chinese mobile subscribers to other mobile service providers by the PPM and it is to derive correlations between strategies of mobile service providers and users' switching intention by the groups classified by ARPU. We conducted a survey targeting 270 Chinese mobile users and analyze it by using Smart PLS 2.0. In conclusion, push effects have positive influence on intention to switching and relational switching cost among mooring effect have significantly negative influence on intention to switching In particular, intention to switching depending on the groups classified by a level of their ARPU have been shown as significantly different. This study will extend theoretical range of PPM theory in explaining users' switching behaviors and contribute to establish strategies to enter the chinese market.

Relationships Among Participation Motives in Virtual Community, Sense of Community, Loyalty and Purchase Intention (가상공동체 참여동기와 공동체의식, 충성도 및 구매의도간의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • Virtual communities have been suggested to play important roles such as attracting customers, building customer loyalty, and leading to commercial transactions. Little research in marketing has focused on virtual communities in spite of its importance indicated by many practitioners and conceptual studies. More specifically, little research has empirically examined factors of customer participation and its consequences. This research investigate if customers' participation motives in virtual communities affect their sense of community and if sense of community affects customers' loyalty towards and purchase intentions from the website offering the community service. One hundred ninety six questionnaires were collected from individuals who have participated in and have been involved in online activities in various virtual communities. Major results of this research can be summarized as follows. First, participation motives employed significantly affected customers' sense of community and more specifically, perceived ease of use and perceived playfulness had a large influence on the customers' sense of community. Second, customers' sense of community positively affected their loyalty toward the community and more specifically, membership and emotional connection had a large influence on loyalty. Third, customers' sense of community did not affect directly their purchase intentions. Fourth, customers' loyalty toward virtual communities had a significant, positive, although marginal, influence on their purchase intentions.

  • Considering the long time that modern man has been autonomous, it can be said that the brutal human violence prevalent around the globe today is an 'exceptional situation'. Behavior such as killing animals or devastating the natural environment are thought to be unavoidable. However, if human beings have been 'social animals' pursuing connectedness and seeking meaning in the relationships of others beyond themselves since the beginning of time, how can the incredibly powerful violence which humankind has inflicted on plants, other animals, or the earth itself be explained? With this in mind, I propose the following arguments. First, the crisis of consciousness in the loss of hope for the future of mankind under the technology of modern Western civilization has already come to a dead-end causing Western philosophers to think of ways to discover new opportunities, apparent as ecology and ecological philosophy. Second, as reality has become governed by the technology of modern Western civilization and ecological philosophical rationality fails to co-exist with this reality, an understanding of ecological philosophy should be deepened and continued. In this context, I will investigate the existential conditions for human life to continue in the future in consideration of ecological philosophy and the meaning of Forest.

A Study on Content Characteristics, Consumer Behavior and Economic Value According to the Degree of Consideration of Graphic Content (그래픽 콘텐츠 고려 정도에 따른 콘텐츠 특성, 소비자 행동, 경제적 가치에 관한 연구)

  • This study verified what differences in screen golf content characteristics, intention to reuse, customer satisfaction and economic value experienced by consumers according to the image feeling, expression method, and image color provided by screen golf graphic content. In addition, the purpose of this study was to analyze what kind of influence the content characteristics of screen golf have on the economic value and what kind of influence the intention to reuse and customer satisfaction have in this process. From September 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021, a survey of 225 copies of consumers using the screen golf course was conducted. For data processing, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, chi-square analysis and 3-step mediated regression analysis were performed. The research results are as follows. First, the preferred image feeling showed a high level of clean and sophisticated feeling and the preferred expression method showed a high realistic image. In addition, the preferred image color showed a high level of green color. Second, there were differences in competitiveness, ease of use, sense of solidarity and realism according to the degree of consideration of graphic content and differences in consumer's intention to reuse, customer satisfaction, and economic value. Third, in the relationship between screen golf content characteristics and economic value, customer satisfaction and re-use intention had a mediating effect. Through this study, by providing basic data to derive the graphic design model of screen golf, the operating entity suggested a way to improve economic benefits and tried to contribute to the growth of the screen golf industry.

The Effect of Stress Coping Ability and Recovery Resilience on Retention Intention of Nurses in Medium-Sized Hospitals (중소병원 간호사의 스트레스 대처능력과 회복탄력성이 재직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was designed to investigate the impact of stress coping ability and recovery resilience on nurses' retention intent in medium-sized hospitals. For this descriptive study, a survey was conducted with 265 nurses from 5 medium-sized hospitals with over 150 sickbeds located in G and I province; the data were collected from May 19 to May 25, 2018. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. The average score was $2.55{\pm}0.25$ for stress coping ability, $3.47{\pm}0.49$ for recovery resilience, and $2.59{\pm}0.29$ for retention intent. Retention intent was positively correlated with stress coping ability (r=0.285, p<0.01) and recovery resilience (r=0.457, p<0.01). The factors affecting retention intent were gender (${\beta}=0.117$, p=0.027), job satisfaction (${\beta}=0.345$, p<0.001), stress coping ability (${\beta}=0.142$, p=0.008), and recovery resilience (${\beta}=0.238$, p<0.001). Furthermore, the model explained 37.8% of the retention intent (F=11.686, p<0.001). In conclusion, effective strategies for improving job satisfaction, stress coping ability, and recovery resilience for nurses need to be developed and investigated.

Empirical Study of the Influences of Motives for Using SNS on Relational Capital of SNS and Continuous Usage of SNS (SNS의 이용동기가 SNS의 사회적 자본과 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically address the influences of motives for using SNS on relational bridging and relational bonding in SNS and motives for continuous use SNS by applying the concepts of bonding and bridging, defined in the social capital theory, and major motives for using SNS are classified into three categories-social, information, and recreation categories - based on the previous studies and the usage and gratification theories. Through this study, it was revealed that motives of all these three categories-social, information, and recreation categories-have significant influences over relational bridging and relational bonding in SNS while relational bridging and relational bonding in SNS have significant influences over consistent motives for using SNS so the hypothesis of this study is accepted. It was also proven that motives of all these three categories - social, information, and recreation categories-for using SNS are important factors for creating new communities or expand relationships with other SNS users sharing similar interests. In addition, it was found that SNS users constantly use SNS to build relationships that could create a strong bond between individuals and receive emotional supports when necessary and to expand its own network by creating new relationships with other SNS users.
