Cultural Differences of Choice on Interaction Problem (인터랙션 문제에 대한 선택의 문화적 차이)

  • This study is aimed to compare choices on interaction problems, and to consider the reason of the choices. It was expected that the interaction problems are influenced from national culture, age, gender and so on. The first interaction problem in this study is default answer button when user operates to delete all messages on SMS in-box. Second one is action when pop-p window warning dangerousness of install showed on web browsing. The third one is type(analog/digital) and information expression of control panel on soup maker. 639 Korean data and 784 data from China, Japan and the Netherlands are analyzed through cross-tabulation and chi-square test. In the results, many Japanese choose 'No' answer at SMS delete problem, while many Dutch choose 'Yes'. The result suggests that uncertainty avoidance effect on interaction problems. On warning pop-up, Younger generation and men choose actively 'install' than older one and women. On type of control panel, Dutch subjects preferred analog type than other countries' subjects. On expression of control panel, older generation and individualistic subjects relatively preferred text style than other style.

  • 최근 강구조물의 건설이 지속적으로 증가되어 왔다. 또한 강구조물의 유지관리 및 안전성에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있다. 시설물의 안전성 확보는 대형사고의 사전 예방, 공용 중 갑작스런 가동 중지에 의하여 발생되는 비용증가를 사전에 차단 할 수 있다는 점에서 그 중요성은 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 또한 각종 구조물은 열악한 사용조건, 고온, 고압, 고속, 대형화됨에 따라 일단 사고가 발생 했을 경우 대형사고의 위험이 예상되므로, 제작시 검사의 강화뿐만이 아니라 공용 중 구조물의 안전성을 진단 할 수 있는 모니터링 체계의 확립이 필요한 시점이다. 현재 국내에서 강구조물들의 균열 모니터링 시스템에 관한 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정이며, 현재 사용되고 있는 비파괴검사 방법은 UT와 RT등이다. 이러한 방법들은 많은 시간과 경비가 소요되며 또한 거대구조물 혹은 사람의 접근이 어려운 곳에는 적용하기가 힘들다. 또한 주기적인 검사 작업으로 인한 막대한 시간과 비용의 손실이 발생되고 있으며 초기 결함을 조기에 인지하지 못함으로써 적절한 보수 보강 대책이 이루어지지 않아 보수 보강 비용의 증대를 초래한다. 더욱이, 결함이 진전된 이후에도 이것을 인지하지 못하여 적절한 대응을 하지 않는다면 대형사고로 이어질 수도 있다. 따라서 강구조물에 대한 효율적인 유지관리가 가능하고, 초기결함으로부터 균열이 진전하여 붕괴되는 사고를 미연에 방지하며 초기에 보수보강 작업을 수행함으로써 보수보강 비용도 절감 할 수 있는 모니터링 시스템의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 모니터링 시스템의 개발은 기술적 측면에서 강구조물의 효율적인 유지 관리 노하우를 얻을 수 있으며 경제 산업적 측면에서는 보수 보강 비용 및 불필요한 주기적 점검 비용을 절감 할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 전위차법을 이용하여 강구조물의 필렛 용접부에서의 균열진전양상을 파악하고 정량화를 통해 필렛용접부의 잔여수명을 예측하였다.

  • This paper reviewed outline of Strategic Niche Management(SNM) and its usefulness and limits as policy tool. SNM is based on Multi Level Perspective(MLP) that traces technological innovation and makes transition of lock-in socio-technical system. This approach is one of systematical then traditional one, market failure approach. SNM had get a attention not only as a analytical frame of technological development, but also tool of radical innovation, although its limits of theoretical and empirical immaturity. SNM could provide a new perspective to analysis and action within urgent needs of alternative innovation policy for aging society, news energy policy for sustainable and disaster policy in danger society.

  • Traditionally research in Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) security has focused primarily on exploiting standards and solutions separately. There exists no unified methodology for SOA security to manage risks at the enterprise level. It needs to analyze preliminarily security threats and to manage enterprise risks by identifying vulnerabilities of SOA. In this paper, we propose a metric-based vulnerability assessment method using dynamic properties of services in SOA. The method is to assess vulnerability at the architecture level as well as the service level by measuring run-time dependency between services. The run-time dependency between services is an important characteristic to understand which services are affected by a vulnerable service. All services which directly or indirectly depend on the vulnerable service are exposed to the risk. Thus run-time dependency is a good indicator of vulnerability of SOA.

  • The reuse of software is to use the components of software to be made beforehand to improve the productivity of it. The development of electronic commerce requires it which can be shown from changing the change of business models Reuse is the necessary solution to cope with a rapid change in the electronic commercial transaction. These reuse business models have the defects that they are not offered from version management. This paper has the purpose that by doing the supplementation of defects not to be offered from the version management and by introducing the quick change management about reuse business models, reusing the components and saving a development and reducing a development af period. The reuse of components by the new reuse business models has the advantages to minimize the danger elements from the design to the finish. We use the version management and try to present the method to make the efficiency of reuse by introducing components and managing the elements about components to the version in the technique to accomplish the reuse of software.

Anomaly Detection Analysis using Repository based on Inverted Index (역방향 인덱스 기반의 저장소를 이용한 이상 탐지 분석)

  • With the emergence of the new service industry due to the development of information and communication technology, cyber space risks such as personal information infringement and industrial confidentiality leakage have diversified, and the security problem has emerged as a critical issue. In this paper, we propose a behavior-based anomaly detection method that is suitable for real-time and large-volume data analysis technology. We show that the proposed detection method is superior to existing signature security countermeasures that are based on large-capacity user log data according to in-company personal information abuse and internal information leakage. As the proposed behavior-based anomaly detection method requires a technique for processing large amounts of data, a real-time search engine is used, called Elasticsearch, which is based on an inverted index. In addition, statistical based frequency analysis and preprocessing were performed for data analysis, and the DBSCAN algorithm, which is a density based clustering method, was applied to classify abnormal data with an example for easy analysis through visualization. Unlike the existing anomaly detection system, the proposed behavior-based anomaly detection technique is promising as it enables anomaly detection analysis without the need to set the threshold value separately, and was proposed from a statistical perspective.

  • Since the opening of Seoul Subway Line #1 in 1974, the number of passengers has been increasing. The possibility for passenger's accidents in railway stations has also increased. In order to decrease these kind of accidents, railway operation systems have been automated. Nevertheless, the possibility of a casualty accident in railway stations remains. This study analyzed the type of casualty accidents, casualty accidents by age, sex, pedestrian facility, and passenger type based on the internal data of Seoul Metro. The causes of casualty accidents are also found out. Finally, the establishment of railway safety education program and railway safety experience center are suggested in order to prevent the urban railway casualty accident in advance at railway stations.

  • 구제역은 소 돼지 사슴 면양 산양 고라니 노루 등 우제류 동물에서 발생하는 제1종 가축전염병으로 빠른 시간내에 동물의 입 발굽 젖꼭지 등에 수포를 형성하는 것이 특징이다. 감염된 소의 혓바닥, 잇몸, 입술, 입 내부점막, 주둥이에 크기가 다양한 수포가 형성된다. 심한 경우에 혀 전체 넓은 부위에서 궤양이 형성될 수 있다. 수포는 24시간이내에 정상적으로는 파열되며, 그 수포액은 $10^8/ml$의 역가를 갖는 바이러스를 함유한다. 상피가 떨어지고, 유연이 심해지며, 타액이 입 주변에 흔건히 흘러내린다. 입 주변 병변과 동시 또는 이어서 수포가 발굽에 형성되며, 부분적으로 발굽갓띠 또는 제부의 갈라진 틈에서 생성되어 통증과 파행의 원인이 된다. 수포는 보통 유두와 유방에 발생되며, 때로는 세균성 유방염을 발생시킨다. 생산성의 감소는 보통 25% 정도로 추정된다. 돼지는 초기에 파행, 발열, 의기소침, 식욕부진이 있다. 소 보다 발굽에서 더욱 증상이 심하다. 유두, 유선, 콧등에 수포가 형성된다. 혀의 병변은 소보다 심하지 않다. 잠복기가 2~14일 (소에서의 약 6.2일, 돼지에서는 약 10.2일)로 짧고, 전파가 매우 빠르며 경제적 피해가 크기 때문에 국제 교역에서도 규제대상이 되는 질병이다. 구제역의 병인체는 피코르나바이러스과 아프토바이러스속에 속하는 구제역 바이러스로 현재까지 7개의 혈청형(A, O, C, Asia 1, SAT 1, SAT 2 및 SAT 3)이 알려져 있다. 이 전염병은 동물전염병 중에서 가장 악명 높은 전염병이다. 세계동물보건기구 (OIE)에서도 각 국간에 국제적인 위협을 최소화하기 위하여 질병의 발생을 보고해야 하는 질병으로 특별 관리하고 있다. 2006년 이후 최근까지 아시아 지역에서 지속적으로 많은 발생을 보이고 있다. 금년 들어 중국, 대만, 일본, 몽골, 우리나라까지 발생되어 이 질병의 위험성에 대하여 다시 한번 생각하게 하였다. 구제역의 재발방지를 위하여 최근 동북아시아 지역의 발생상황과 향후 구제역의 발생억제 또는 발생시 긴급 대응을 위하여 해야 할 일은 무엇인지 알아보자.

A Study on Hometown Terrorism Possibility and Measures in Multiculturalism (다문화주의에 따른 자생테러리즘의 가능성과 대책에 관한 연구)

  • As the world becomes more global, entry simplification measure increases many foreigners' entry and international marriage around the low income countries of southeast Asia. Those are adding multicultural phenomena to Korean society, which has a bad influence on public order environment and leads to side effect in society. Since the 9/11 terror attacks, a sudden increase in the threat of terror has been worldwide. Besides, the threat tends toward New Terrorism and contributes to factor to social malaise in Korea. Therefore, this study examines all the possibilities of hometown terrorism by multiculturalism and suggests measures for it. To achieve this, it is required to lead the people's understanding and national participation for multiculturalism. The mature civic awareness should be given priority over any others, which means the understanding and consideration of various countries' cultures and traditions. It is also necessary to inspect the dangers of hometown terrorism. Furthermore, there should be an urgent need for an institutional device to prevent and suppress terror through a close examination of countermeasures system of terror.

Development of an Evaluation Index for Identifying Freeway Traffic Safety Based on Integrating RWIS and VDS Data (기상 및 교통 자료를 이용한 교통류 안전성 판단 지표 개발)

  • This study proposes a novel performance measure, which is referred to as Hazardous Spacing Index (HSI), to be used for evaluating safety of traffic stream on freeways. The basic principle of the proposed methodology is to investigate whether drivers would have sufficient stopping sight distance (SSD) under limited visibility conditions to eliminate rear-end crash potentials at every time step. Both Road Weather Information Systems (RWIS) and Vehicle Detection Systems (VDS) data were used to derive visibility distance (VD) and SSD, respectively. Moreover, the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) method was adopted to predict both VD and SSD in estimating predictive HSIs, which would be used to trigger advanced warning information to encourage safer driving. The outcome of this study is also expected to be used for monitoring freeway traffic stream in terms of safety.
