A Regional System of Seoul in Terms of Trip for Shopping and Leisure (서울시 쇼핑.위락 목적통행으로 본 지역체계)

  • This study sets up nodal regions for shopping and leisure with 424 district units located in Seoul and examines the characteristics of the vertical structure and the regional system. According to the higher-order analysis result, the trip for leisure forms a greater part, and about each of the nodal regions of the first stratum, major spots for origin and destination are located in the center, and those spots are connected to adjacent district units located nearby. As the factor's eigenvalue is bigger, the spatial range gets greater, too, and is located in outsides. And in the third or higher strata, either linkage between Gangnam and Gangbuk or leapfrogging linkage according to the bipolar factors is distinctive. Linkage between nodal regions centering around Jongro-gu, Jung-gu, Gangnam-gu, or Yeoungdeungpo-gu is not distinct, and in particular, the nodal regions of Jongro Geumcheon are maintained as the upper strata being independent from other nodal regions from the second or higher strata.

A Study on the Types and Changes of the King's Amusement Activities through 『Annals of The Joseon Dynasty(朝鮮王朝實錄)』 (『조선왕조실록(朝鮮王朝實錄)』을 통해 본 왕의 위락활동 유형과 변천)

  • "Annals of The Joseon Dynasty" is a book recording the Joseon Dynasty's historical facts in an annalistic format. The King's amusement activities through "Annals of The Joseon Dynasty" which were established by the Ye-ak(禮樂) system were analyzed. The results are as follows. The king's amusement activities that were performed during the Joseon Dynasty period could be classified as state banquets, military banquets, and banquets for play. The analysis of the king's amusement activity was divided into five stages. The characteristic of [1 period : King Taejo~Sejo(Yejong)] was dominated the military banquets of the Goryeo Dynasty. Neo-Confucianism is the establishment of political and social turning of the ballast, considerations of military culture, culture, and Hoeryeyeon Jinpungjeong, a cloud of dust and elders banquets such as Giroyeon and Yangnoyeon on the nature of the party. In conclusion, the expansion of the King's garden(庭:courtyard${\rightarrow}$園:privacy garden${\rightarrow}$苑:king's garden${\rightarrow}$苑?:national hunting park) is evident which starts from formal and informal activities that took place in Oejo, Chijo, and Yeonjo, which went further to the separate and secret gardens, and then even further, thus setting the amusement activity area as a 39 kilometer radius range from Hanyang.

The role of urban green space in terms of popular values (주민의 입장에서 본 도시 공원녹지의 규제에 관한 연구)

  • 공원녹지가 군시내에서 수행하고 있는 역할에 대해 학자들은 크게 '주민을 위한 위락공간으로서의 역할' '도시구조를 이루는 한 요소로서의 역할' 그리고 '도시 생태계의 기반으로서의 역할'등 크게 세가지로 구분하고 있다. 본 연구는 대도시 주민들이 인식하고 있는 도시공원녹지의 역할을 그들의 이용과 가치관을 중심으로 설문조사에 기초한 결과의 일부이다. 조사에 의하면, 주민들은 대개 공원녹지를 그들의 위락공간을 위한 장소로서 인식하고 그 역할에 동의하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 최근, 도시·조경계획분야에서 크게 논의되고 있는 생태학적 개념에 근거한 도시공원녹지의 '도시내 자연'으로서의 역할에 대한 주민의 인식이 전문가들의 열의에 배해 많이 높지 않음을 보여 주었다. 그러나 이는 위락공간으로서 역할 다음으로 중요도가 인식되고 있는 만큼 도시내 자연으로서의 공원녹지 역할을 높이기 위해서 학자들 사이에 구체적인 논의와 실증적인 연구가 뒤따라야 할 뿐만 아니라 주민들의 의사와 합의가 있어야 할 것으로 생각된다. 한편 도시공원녹지의 역할에 대해서는 도시주민의 사회적인 변수 특히 성, 교육수준, 임금수준 등에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 도시공원녹지 계획시 이들 변수에 대한 고려가 있어야 할 것이다.

  • PRT(Personal Rapid Transit) can be described as a system of driverless taxicabs, that. automatically take passengers to their destinations along dedicated guideways, without intermediate stops.It is ideally suited as a short feeder transportation for on-demand circulation operations at train stations, airports, office complex, amusement park and shopping center. This PRT study do suggest that a PRT system could provide a high level of mobility to the commuters making work trips, workers making work, shopping and other non-work trips, residents making shopping and other non-work trips and recreational riders.This study presents the possibilities of PRT applications in national level. As the technology continues to advance, there may be opportunities to improve the reliability, and efficiency of our future public transportation systems.

  • 본 연구에서는 건설 사업의 수행과정에서 나타날 수 있는 환경훼손을 최소화하거나 저감하고, 자연과의 조화를 이루기 위한 다양한 기술과 공법, 정책 및 제도를 도출하고자 하였으며, 구체적인 사례로 댐건설 사업에 대한 친환경 기술과 공법을 분석하였다. 이를 위해서 기존 연구사례 및 문헌을 고찰하여 친환경 요소를 도출하였고, 이미 조성되었거나 조성 중인 댐을 대상으로 실제 적용되고 있는 친환경 요소를 분석하였으며, 이를 종합하여 건설사업에 도입될 수 있는 친환경 항목을 설정하고 기술 및 공법을 제안하였다. 그 결과 생태계 보전, 생태계 복원, 새로운 생태계 조성, 친수환경 및 위락, 경관 및 역사문화 등이 친환경요소로 도출되었다. 또한 환경친화형 건설사업의 지속적인 추진과 성과를 위한 정부차원의 정책과 제도적 방안을 제안하였다. 이러한 적극적인 생태환경 보전 및 복원을 위한 노력이 지속적으로 이루어짐으로써 건설사업에 의한 환경파괴를 최소화하고 새로운 생태환경을 창출하는 친환경 건설의 대표적인 사례로 자리매김될 수 있으며, 나아가 건설 분야의 친찬경 사고 확산을 위한 근거가 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 현대 산업사회의 특징은 대용량화와 고속화에 있다. 전력부분에 있어서도 예외는 아니어서 초고층빌딩, 대단지 아파트, 공장, 위락시설, 병원 등 대용량 전력부하가 급격한 속도로 증가하고 있다. 특히 전력부분에 있어서는 대용량화와 동시에 경량 및 부피감소의 요구가 증대되면서도 신뢰성 높은 전력 품질 또한 요구되고 있다. 전기안전의 측면에 있어서 발전소의 안전불량은 전력수용가의 수급 차질로 인한 데이터 전산망, 생산설비의 막대한 재산 피해 뿐 아니라 병원 등에서의 인명피해도 발생시킬 수 있으므로 이에 대한 대책이 꼭 강구되어야 한다. 본 논문은 소용량 2극 동기발전기의 공극자속 파형 특성연구를 통하여 발전기 회전자 권선의 단락고장진단을 위한 예측진단기술을 개발하는 과정의 일환으로 진행되었으며 우선 정상상태의 공극자속을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 방법으로 계산하고 이를 시험치와 비교하여 해석 결과의 신뢰성을 평가하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 발전기의 모의 고장으로 발생하는 공극 자속의 특성을 연구하여 발전설비의 안전 확대에 기여할 것이다.

A Study on the Evaluation of Wide-scale Site Suitability for Water-friendly Recreation Area Planning (친수 휴양활동공간 계획을 위한 광역수준의 부지 적합성 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to look into the feasibility of site suitability focused on the potential for environmentally- and water-friendly recreation area development in a wide area(Nakdong River 35km) and to study new methods for providing basic data in regard to the recreation planning over a wide area as well as in application to other sites. The results of this study are as follows. Through classification by mesh method, the site of this study was classified into 42 grids, and by means of the analysis of evaluation indicators, 20 indicators were established and sorted into 4 types of significant recreation activity. According to the results of the analysis for each recreation activity type, there were 8 essentials for water-friendly recreation activity types based on water use while water-friendly recreation types for static activity included 12 sub-essentials. As a result of the first evaluation(the minimum required evaluation) by each classified grid, 32 of the 42 total grids were implemented by the minimum requirements. These grids were usually distributed evenly through the whole site. In terms of the second evaluation(specific site evaluation) results, 6 grids were highly suitable for recreational nature experiences and landscape ecological learning, 4 grids for developing water-friendly recreation for exercise, 1 grid for building water-friendly recreation based on water use, and 4 grids for planning water-friendly recreation for static activity. The results of the grid evaluation of this study could be extended to contiguous grids or reduced. Actual planning for a water-friendly recreation area must change the grid shape or size through boundary adjustments.

  • The economic appraisal of a port remodeling project must be transparent and persuasive to the public over the entire stage of the project. A project evaluator need to be familiar with the guidelines on evaluation, and to do his best to follow the guidelines to evaluate the given project. To make the right decision on investment, the evaluator must take into consideration not only economic efficiency, but also equity issues such as income redistribution and balanced development between regions. Port remodeling projects tend to produce externalities to the environment. However, these externalities are of qualitative nature, and hard to measure in monetary terms, so these are liable to be ignored in the process of project evaluation. Two different approaches - RP(revealed preference) and SP(stated preference) have been tried to assess the value of these non-market goods. Government authorities need to set minimum guidelines which project evaluators must follow in order to make the evaluation more reliable.

A Study on Characteristics of Highway Segments for Recreational Trips Using Principal Analysis (주성분분석을 이용한 고속도로의 여가성 도로구간 판별에 관한 연구)

  • A five-day work week has a great impact on the life styles of employed persons and their families. At the same time, the changes also impact on the transportation system because travel patterns, demand, and pattern of congestion change during weekends. The negative impacts on the transportation system should be examined in order to conceive measures to maintain dependable levels of service during weekends. The first step to pursue the issue is to identify the road segments heavily affected by augmented leisure trips. In this study, characteristics of highway segments are engineered by principal analysis using data from TCS database. Scores from principal analysis are employed to distinguish highway segments for leisure trips from total 197 segments considered in this study. In addition, indexes from principal analysis are proposed to identify highway segments for leisure trips.
