비즈니스 조직에서 집단지성을 경쟁우위의 중요한 요소로 활용하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 인터넷과 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 물론이고 위키와 같은 편집도구 등은 집단지성을 가능하게 하는 대표적인 정보기술이다. 그러나 집단지성은 전문가 지식에서와는 다른 품질의 문제가 제기되기도 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 집단지성의 품질에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 선행연구를 통해 집단지성의 품질에 영향을 주는 개인의 동기(love, money, glory, professional development), 집단특성(expertise, diversity, size), 집단지성의 도구(navigating, usefulness, agility, user preference) 차원에서 총 11개의 영향요인을 파악하였다. 조직 경쟁우위의 핵심으로 집단지성을 활용하는 대표적인 성공사례인 Threadless, InnoCentive, iStockphoto, Panda Security, Wikipedia를 분석하여 3개 차원에서 11개의 명제를 제안하였다. 사례분석의 결과, 개인의 동기, 집단특성, 집단지성을 위한 도구는 집단지성의 품질에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 예를 들어, 개인적 동기가 뚜렷하고 다양한 특성을 지닌 다수가 참여할수록 소집단에서보다 더 잘 문제를 해결하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 집단지성의 품질을 개선하고 이를 통해 혜택을 얻기 위해서 조직에서는 다양성을 지닌 대규모 커뮤니티를 구성하고, 참여에 대한 동기를 부여하고, 적절한 집단지성의 도구를 선택하여 활용하여야 한다.

As the recent rapid development of internet technology and the wide spread of multimedia communications, massive increase of network traffic causes some problems such as the lack of network paths and the bad quality of service To resolve these problems, this paper presents a web-based traffic control system which supports QoS of realtime packet transmission for the multimedia communication The traffic control system presented in this paper applies the integrated service model and provides QoS of packet transmission by means of determining the packet transmission rate according to the policies of network manager and the optimal resource allocation considering the end-to-end traffic load It also provides QoS for the realtime packet transmission through the admission controller and the packet scheduler by the modified $WF^2Q^+$ algorithm support asynchronous and class-based queuing.

Research records have become more important because of the increased significance of the preservation and use of such records. Therefore, many research institutions provide web-based research records archival information services. However, no evaluation of these research records services has been conducted, so problems arise that make discussing the current state of such services and their future improvement difficult. Therefore, this study evaluates web-based archival information services for research records and proposes ways to vitalize them. This study analyzes the characteristics of NTIS and NKIS, which are types of web-based archival information services for research records, and evaluates them using the same evaluation measures. Finally, this study recommends ways to improve web-based archival information services for research records.

This study aims to investigate current status of mobile search services of Korean search portals, and analyze mobile unified search contents of Naver and Google Korea. In particular, this study analyzed characteristics of mobile unified search such as number of retrieved documents, collection distribution, and yearly distribution. Also, documents were evaluated in terms of relevance, credibility, and currency. This study compared quality of Naver's unified Web best and unified Web, and Google's best Web documents and Web documents. The correlation between document's ranking and document's relevance was analyzed. The results of this study can be implemented to the portal's effective development of mobile search service.

The purpose of this research is to examine the characteristics and current status of OASIS, a web archive, developed and operated by the National Library of Korea. From December 2013 to November 2014, an analysis of a numerical growth and subject distribution of 55,581 websites archived at OASIS shows many problems in quality, including an overwhelming proportion of 'Social Science' and its subclass 'Politics', consequential lack of balance in subject distribution, lack of authority or scholarly value of some contents, unclear application of selection criteria for personal creators/publishers, and inaccurate and overlapping statistics. Despite an impressive growth in quantity, immediate improvement of selection policies and quality control is needed.

The performance of a web application is an essential issue to provide high quality of the services in interactive web environments. On a sudden increase in traffic in a very short span of time, the servers became CPU starved and would become unresponsive. This would lead to a bad experience for the clients of web service. This paper deals with the effects of two configurable software settings of J2EE application servers: the maximum size of the thread pool and the maximum size of database connection pool. In order to figure out the optimum configuration value, this paper builds experimental evaluation method for web performance analysis. Finally, a case study related with the proper experimental method is presented with performance result.

Web streaming environment need a suitable video playback service technique, a streaming technique for real-time delivery and an efficient control technique due to its limited environment. In this paper, we propose an effective control technique for real-time media stream playback as a connection technique between the high-quality media player and web browser based on Linux environment. The proposed stream control technique presents control data through 050 on media playback screen of web browser, and process the user's input data. It acts GUI-independently, and is designed considering addition and extension for control data.

This research was conducted in order to know how influential the acknowledgment of factors such as the quality of educational contents and the conducting of off-line lectures is in terms of effective learning for leaners. Based on the satisfaction-importance model of the multi-attribute attitude model, this study would like to clarify the degree to which the quality of on-line contents of on-line education and the simultaneous conducting of off-line lectures influences one's learning attitude. On-line contents satisfaction will evaluated through the three categories: audio lectures, video lecture and WEI lectures, which make up the quality of on-line contents. We would also like to do a survey on the transformation of learning attitudes when on-line and off-line lectures were conducted simultaneously.

오늘날 세계화된 시장 환경은 기업간 협업 프로세스의 동적 구성을 요구하고 있으며, 웹 서비스 (Web services)와 비즈니스 프로세스 관리 (Business Process Management) 기술의 발전이 이의 구현을 뒷받침하고 있다. 임의의 기업과의 느슨한 구성(loosely-coupled)을 통한 동적 협업이 활성화됨에 따라, 프로세스의 서비스 품질 (Quality of Service)이 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있는데, 특히 단순한 단위 웹 서비스가 아닌 장기 실행 액티비티 (Long-termed activity)를 포함하는 협업 프로세스에서는 제한된 시간 내에 프로세스의 정상적 수행을 보장하는 것이 핵심적 요구사항이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 프로세스 수행 계획을 동적으로 생성, 관리함으로써 프로세스의 각 인스턴스들의 완료와 납기 준수를 보장할 수 있는 방법론을 제시한다. 본 방법론은 프로세스 인스턴스의 진행과정에 따라 중복(redundancy) 계획을 동적으로 수정함으로써 각 액티비티의 수행 시간과 신뢰성(reliability)을 독립적으로 관리한다. 본 방법론의 최적화 모델은 NP-hard로 증명되었으며, 본 연구에서는 최적화 모델을 위한 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 제시하고, 이를 실제 최적해와 비교하는 실험을 행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 보다 복잡한 기업간 협업환경에서의 수행 보장과 장애내감성 실현이 가능해 질 것으로 기대된다.
